First Demonic Dragon - Chapter 916 - 916: Approval

While Abaddon was chatting with his sisters, Izanami had just finished moving her things in to the bedroom and forming her own closet.
Izanami used her powers to fabricate most of her clothes and shoes, so she didn’t actually have much.
Then again, she had never had much of anything that really felt like she could call her own. Not in real life anyway.
Even when she was trapped in Yomi and ruling an empire of the dead, her very existence felt hollow.
She never wanted anything but retribution. No matter the form it came in or method she had to undertake to achieve it.
But now… maybe she could start collecting things of her own.
Izanami noticed the mirror on the wall and walked towards it.
She stared at herself clothed for a while before pulling off Abaddon’s shirt.
Now, she got a better look at her full, uncovered figure.
The tattoos that had formed along her body were religiously similar to Abaddon and Ayaana’s.
And yet, they had their own unique style that made Izanami feel like she stood out. In a relationship as large as hers, established individualism was so important.
Izanami felt that the colorful markings adorning her body made her look beautiful. Incomparably so.
She didn’t remember the last time that she was able to say that about herself.
Her chest felt warm. She was as light as a feather.
“Settling in okay?”
Izanami looked back at the doorway and found a very large and very beautiful blue jotunn leaning against the frame.
The fact that Izanami was standing around naked had only made the situation instantly tense. They were newlyweds after all.
“I… just feel a bit anxious, I suppose.” Izanami said while hiding her face.
She heard the sound of Sif’s heavy footsteps coming towards her and her pulse quickened.
Izanami had an ottoman in her closet in place of a couch.
Sif sat down and pulled the smaller goddess into her lap without warning.
“Worried about him? You wouldn’t be the first.” Sif sighed.
Izanami shook her head wryly. “Not quite that…. Well, maybe. I suppose what I am is confused more than anything.”
“About?” Sif ran her fingers through Izanami’s hair and brought a few locks of it right to her nose to take a deep inhale.
“I just… don’t understand why he feels guilty for fighting against Izanagi. Nyx has already told me that it wasn’t our husband who went looking for trouble. It was that man.” Izanami said venomously.
Sif just pretended that she wasn’t at least slightly fazed by just how attractive the shinto goddess could be when she was in a dangerous mood.
“Well… He has a lot going on upstairs these days. He’s trying to cultivate better images among the gods and foster stronger ties so that they’ll go along with that crazy new plan of his.
Slapping around that ex-husband of yours over you might make that a little bit more difficult. He could be seen as a man who abuses his power. Or one who uses excessive force to inspire fear.”
Izanami’s eyes became black holes. “They don’t know him. They have no right to make any judgments on his character.”
“You really have been removed from divine politics a long time, haven’t you, sweetheart?” Sif chuckled in amusement. “Whether or not the gods actually have the right to do something or not, they are a beligerently, judgmental bunch.”
Izanami just shook her head in annoyance. “Insects… I would kill them all for a return to peace and quiet.”
“Easy now, Seras Jr.” Sif joked as she lightly bit her ear. “It’s hard, yes. But this is just the responsibility that Yesh has entrusted to us. To him. But at least we have each other. This way… nothing else really seems to matter, does it?”
Izanami locked eyes with Sf and found her staring at her with gentle, fragile eyes. She was definitely starting to see what she was talking about just now. Nothing else mattered other than that.
“I… suppose that you are right.”
“I tend to be most of the time.” Sif shrugged.
Izanami raised her arm to grab Sif by the head and pulled her in.
As their lips made contact, Sif finally stopped pretending about what she wanted and slipped her hand between Izanami’s thighs.
Izanami moaned into her mouth slightly as she felt a thick finger trying to invade her most sacred place.
Pleasure and warmth started to overtake her mind as she spread her legs wider to allow her greater access.
Sif gratefully accepted the invitation as she pushed her finger further into her depths, eliciting a shiver of pleasure and a cry of surprise in unison.
The jotunn only pulled away to remove her own shirt and continue, but that moment was unfortunately enough to provide Izanami with the necessary mental clarity.
“W-Wait, I… I had something I needed to do first.” Izanami confessed.
“Haven’t you taken the lead enough already..?” Sif asked breathlessly as she bit her lip.
Izanami shook her head. “N-No, it’s not that… But do you think you can come with me?”
“You read my mind.” Sif leaned in again.
Izanami kissed her for a few short moments before shaking her head again. “I’m serious… It’s very important to me.”
Seeing Izanami so resolute, Sif beat back her urges through sheer force of will.
She removed her fingers from Izanami’s insides and brought it to her own lips to taste. The enticing sight caused little black hearts to form in Izanami’s eyes.
“Alright, I’ll come with you.. but no matter what, you’re mine later.”
Izanami nodded slowly, even though she had absolutely no idea what Sif had just said.
She just knew she looked very attractive while she was saying it.
–
“S-So… that’s kind of what happened. I realize that this may be the tiniest bit disconcerting for you, but.. I truly do love your parents, and I want to be a part of your family. Will you accept me?”
Bagheera, Bayle, and Gandora stared at Izanami with their mouths wide open.
The shock of Izanami’s announcement had completely rattled them to their core.
Sif was leaning against a nearby wall with her hands clasped behind her head. Every part of her was seriously questioning just why she had abstained sex for this.
“Darling… Shouldn’t you be having this conversation with our actual children?”
“I-I’m working my way up to it!” Izanami showed Sif a notepad with a list of names going down it.
From what she could tell, they were ranked in order from most to least difficult. After this, they were apparently supposed to go and visit Thea.
Bashenga was very last on the list. Sif wasn’t sure if Izanami had ranked him there because he was an asshole or due to a sense of unpredictability.
It honestly could have been either way at this point…
Suddenly, the duo heard the sound of angry footsteps barging down the hall.
Yemaja whirled into the room like a hurricane, leaving Sif to wonder just who had pissed in her cornflakes this morning.
“Mom, where’s your husband??”
‘Oh. I guess he did.’ Sif shook her head with pity.
However, she still tried to feign ignorance.
“Why’re you lookin’ for him, pumpkin?”
“He threatened Ziz just because we went on one date! Can you believe that??” Yemaja threw up her hands.
Sif literally couldn’t believe anything more. She had known her husband for billions of years now, and that was the most him-like thing he had ever done.
“Tell me where he is so that I can kill him and bury him in the backyard!” Yemaja demanded.
Sif merely shook her head. “No need for all of that now. Your dad is just overprotective. You know that already.”
“That doesn’t mean that I-“
“But on another note, we’ve got something to tell you!” Sif wrapped her arm around Izanami and pulled her in close.
Izanami felt sweat running down her back and the hairs on the back of her neck standing up.
She hoped, she prayed that Sif wasn’t about to do what she thought she was going to do.
Izanami wasn’t ready for Yemaja yet! She was the second-to-last one on the list!
“What is it?” Yemaja folded her arms. “You’re all getting married? I already knew that.”
“What?? How?”
“Godstagram.” Yemaja held up her phone. “We’ve been talking about it all morning. How is Dad going to tell the entire supernatural world before he tells his kids??”
Sif wished that she would have been aware that her kids already knew, because it would have meant that she never had to leave the closet.
“Well, it’s happening.”Sif pressed her cheek against Izanami’s. “And we would all really appreciate your blessing.”
Izanami’s heart was beating so loudly that she knew for certain both dragons could hear it. This only further added to her immense embarrassment.
“…” Yemaja looked back and forth between her mother and the woman who was to be her step-mother.
Her gaze swiveled between the two for a solid minute before she finally opened her mouth to speak.
“…No.”
Izanami fainted.
“Y-Yemaja!” Sif was caught between trying to scold her daughter and trying to prevent Izanami from hitting the floor.
“If dad won’t approve of my relationships, then I won’t approve of his! Fair is fair!”
“But that’s not fair.” Sif sighed. “You like Izanami, and Ziz is a massive-“
“Mom!”
“Fine, fine, I see your point.” Sif nodded. “It’s your life, so do what you want. I’ll deal with your father later.”
Yemaja beamed. “Then I hope you’ll all be very happy together.” She kissed her mother on her cheek.
As Sif watched her daughter skip away, she couldn’t help but wonder if she had inadvertently just made a promise she couldn’t deliver on.
She closed her eyes and reached out through the grapevine of her connected minds.
‘Ayaana. I think I made a teensy little mistake just now.’
The other girls couldn’t exactly answer at that moment. Because while Sif and Izanami were requesting blessings, they were trying to figure out how to get unstuck…
