Su Yi watched them in silence, his gaze as calm as the waters of an ancient well.
He didn’t waste any time talking. He just walked out of the palace.

“A monkey!?” The Blazing Sun Demon Monarch’s eyes widened. Only he could see that the “gray chaos light” was actually a three-foot-tall monkey.
The creature’s fur flowed with a waterfall of chaos energy, and it stood in the air, chittering at the top of its lungs as if mocking the statue of Evil God Fire Crow.
“You’re seeking death, you dirty little monkey!” Evil God Fire Crow bellowed and attacked, his hands swathed in crimson flames hot enough to burn the very dome of heaven.
The little monkey bared its teeth and grinned, then charged into the fray, swinging its hand.
Boom!!!
Evil God Fire Crow staggered, then slammed into the ground, shaking the earth on impact.
The collision shook the formation markings covering the palace walls, which split. The dazzling firelight instantly dimmed.
“This…” The crowd outside the hall watched on, too shocked for words. A monkey just smacked Evil God Fire Crow to the ground in a single blow? Where on earth did that monkey come from?
“Wicked little creature!” Evil God Fire Crow roared in fury and struggled to his feet.
Rather, he tried to. Before he could stand, the little monkey jumped onto him. The crowd then watched in shock and horror as the chaos energy flowing over its fur suppressed Evil God Fire Crow firmly in place. He could no longer move a muscle.
The vertical eye marking on the monkey’s forehead silently opened, and a beam of murky gray light landed on Evil God Fire Crow’s body.

Evil God Fire Crow trembled from head to toe, then shrieked in terror. “No——!”
As his voice rang out, the little monkey opened its mouth and inhaled.
Boom!
Dazzling, pure soul power shot out of Evil God Fire Crow’s body, then disappeared into the little monkey’s ravening maw.
Evil God Fire Crow no longer moved. He had turned into stone once more, and within momentsn the statue cracked and crumbled into bits.
The little monkey still crouched over the statue’s head, smacking its lips, its golden eyes full of lingering hunger; its appetite was not yet satiated.
Dust and smoke permeated the air. Now that Evil God Fire Crow’s soul had been devoured, the terrifying divine majesty filling the hall vanished without a trace.
Su Yi was facing the gate, so he didn’t see any of this, nor did he once turn his head. His gaze was completely calm, without the slightest ripples.
No wind could shake his composure!
Su Yi took in the crowd’s shifting expressions. It was like watching a pack of flustered clowns, a ridiculous sight.
Especially the Blazing Sun Demon Monarch. He stood there, still as a statue, his hands still positioned as if to hold that red lamp.
The crowd was completely overcome with astonishment.
An evil god had awakened from dormancy, only to meet with brutal suppression. In the end, he became a monkey’s lunch!

The leaders of Fire Crow City’s factions instinctively moved further away, and when they looked at Su Yi, their eyes were full of dread and unease.
“He… He…” Shan Ruoqin’s beautiful face paled. She was obviously overcome with fright, to the point that she couldn’t even speak coherently.
Suddenly, the Blazing Sun Demon Monarch bellowed, “This is all your fault, you bitch!”
Bang!!
Before she could process what was happening, he slapped her with such force that her delicate frame shattered, splashing the ground with blood.
The blood splattered the Blazing Sun Demon Monarch’s clothing, too.
The bloody spectacle sent chills through many of the onlookers’ spines.

The air shook violently. Countless streaks of sword qi descended, rumbling and clanging on all sides.
Like the river of heaven bursting through a dam and pouring onto the world below.
As the sword rain poured down, it tore through the Blazing Sun Demon Monarch and his subordinates as if they were made of paper.
Every last one of them was shredded to bits, no exceptions!
