Chapter 234: New Titles, Perfect Foundation Achieved
Isaac POV
Last Night
Isaac returned home after meeting Celia.
Advising her to meet Vale had been the right call, but the night was far from over.
As soon as he stepped inside, he saw Lucian, Dante, and Eleanor still seated with Vale.
Their discussion hadn’t ended yet; the three of them looked deep in thought, while Vale sat across with the deep eyes.
“Isaac?” Eleanor turned to look at him.
“I won’t take much of your time,” Isaac said.
He reached into his soulbind pendant and pulled out three small crates.
The faint glow from them was enough to draw everyone’s attention.
“These are EXP potions,” he explained simply, setting them down on the table one by one. “One for each of you.”
Lucian’s lips pulled into a grin almost immediately.
He leaned back in his chair, eyes glinting.
“Pleasure doing business with you,” he said, his tone carrying a hint of amusement.
Without waiting for a reply, Lucian grabbed his crate and stored it into his spatial ring.
Dante and Eleanor didn’t say much, but they each took theirs with a nod before doing the same.
Afterwards, Isaac walked toward his own room.
Inside, Alice was already waiting for him.
She sat on the edge of the bed.
“You still haven’t slept?” Isaac asked, surprised.
Alice shook her head slightly. “I was waiting for you.”
Her words settled in the air.
Isaac looked at her, and despite the calmness she showed, he felt a flicker of heat stir inside him.
He hadn’t forgotten what they had been doing before he left to speak with Celia.
The night’s chain of events had interrupted them, but the memory of it was still vivid. Perhaps, Alice was waiting for it too.
Still, he forced himself to hold back.
“Alice,” he said, steadying his tone, “can you give me the technique?”
She tilted her head. “Which technique?”
“The one your ancestor left behind,” Isaac clarified, “the one to help you reign in your emotions.”
He had already told her that he could make use of the abilities she shared, and Alice wasn’t unaware of the changes in him.
Emily had sent her that video of their intimate moment—the one where his eyes had shifted into slit-like shapes when emotions pushed him over the edge.
Isaac wasn’t embarrassed by her knowing. If anything, it made things simpler.
Alice paused, studying his expression.
Finally, she gave a small nod.
“Alright. I’ll teach you the technique. But let’s go into the soulbind pendant. It’ll be easier there.”
They both entered the subdimension in the soulbind pendant.
Isaac headed first to the living room, where the life pod rested. He checked the display screen.
“Emily will wake up the day after tomorrow,” he murmured, relief brushing through his voice.
Once he confirmed that, he turned back to Alice.
She stood nearby, twisting a strand of her hair between her fingers.
A faint blush touched her cheeks, though she tried to hide it by looking away.
“…?” Isaac frowned slightly, not catching her meaning.
Alice cleared her throat and spoke softly. “Before we start, we need to erase all your desires first, to bring them to a tranquil state. So… we need to do it until you’re satisfied.”
Isaac blinked at her words, then let out a low laugh.
Of course, they had to. That was part of the process.
“Well,” he said with a grin, stepping toward her, “why not?”
He took her hand and pulled her closer.
Their lips met, and the rest of the night slipped away.
…
The first pale light of morning was filtering through the soulbind house’s window when Isaac opened his eyes again.
He wasn’t tired, though.
Beside him, Alice was awake as well.
Her body pressed against his, skin warm against his own.
She clung to him, arms draped around his chest.
“I think we can use the technique now,” Isaac said with a small smile.
“Yes.” Alice nodded, not wanting to let go of him.
They sat cross-legged on the bed naked.
Alice moved behind him, placing her hand gently against his back.
“I’ll move my mana inside you,” she explained. “Follow it carefully. That way, you’ll learn faster.”
Isaac closed his eyes, centering himself.
He felt her mana flow into him. He followed it, mimicking its path.
To Alice’s surprise, within half an hour, Isaac had already grasped the technique.
She leaned back slightly, her expression full of disbelief.
“How high is your Spirit Power stat?” she asked, incredulous.
Isaac opened his eyes and smirked. “Quite high.”
Alice let out a short breath, shaking her head as if unable to believe it.
Then she leaned forward, wrapping her arms around him from behind.
Her lips brushed his ear and then his neck, leaving small kisses along his skin.
Her hand slid downward and grabbed his shaft. It was a clear invitation that needed no words.
Isaac chuckled softly, already pulling her closer again.
…
When it was over, Isaac stretched his body and let out a slow exhale.
Beside him, Alice had finally drifted into sleep.
Her breathing was soft, and her face relaxed in a way he hadn’t seen since yesterday.
“She must’ve been exhausted,” Isaac thought quietly.
She had been moving without pause.
She had gone into the wilderness, only to be forced back due to the event with N’theris Serpent.
After that, she spent hours saving and healing awakeners.
Then, she fought Titan Edge Guild during the night.
It was surprising she hadn’t collapsed earlier.
Perhaps it had been sheer will keeping her awake, and now that tension was gone.
Isaac tried to slip from the bed without waking her, but her eyelids fluttered.
She stirred and opened her eyes, drowsy but aware.
“You’re leaving?” she asked softly. “I’ll come with you.”
Isaac shook his head. “You should sleep.”
“I can take a Vitality Grain. It’ll wipe my mental exhaustion. I can heal myself and erase the rest.”
“Even so, you should still sleep. Natural recovery matters.”
Alice shook her head. “I am coming with you. I’m worried about your security.”
Her voice was sincere, and he could see the vulnerability in her gaze.
Isaac didn’t respond right away.
She pushed herself up, brushing her hair aside.
“I’ll wash up first,” she said, stepping away toward the bathroom.
Isaac watched her retreating back, then let out a long exhale.
“I already have Alice’s mind-calming technique now,” he thought. “As long as I keep practicing it, I won’t need to worry about losing control of my emotions.”
The reassurance steadied him.
With that matter resolved, he finally pulled up his system interface.
It was time.
Last night’s events had brought him something important: the Golden Gacha Ticket.
“Let’s see what this gives me,” he murmured.
The screen shifted, displaying the description of the ticket he had been holding onto.
[Golden Gacha Ticket]
Rarity: Legendary
Effect: Grants one spin of the Gacha Wheel.
Guarantees: Gold rarity at the least (Legendary grade).
Isaac’s pulse quickened.
Even with all the things he had been through recently, something about the system’s rewards still brought out that old flicker of excitement.
“Legendary at the very least, huh?” he muttered, rubbing his hands together. “Alright, let’s try it.”
He willed the ticket to activate.
A golden wheel materialized in front of him, spinning rapidly.
The colors blurred together, every section flashing by too fast to read.
His breath caught in his throat as it slowed, piece by piece, until it finally clinked to a stop on a shining golden section.
The system’s voice rang out in his head.
[Stat Potion Bundle]
Grade: Legendary
Effect: Contains five potions. Each potion increases one primary stat by 1000.
“I got a legendary… what!?”
Isaac blinked, then let out a short laugh.
Five crystal vials appeared in his hands, each glowing faintly with condensed energy.
“Five potions that boost stats by a thousand each,” he said, unable to stop grinning. “That’s insane.”
He turned them over in his hands.
“These are perfect for Alice.”
He set the potions aside and stretched.
The tension of the night before was still clinging to his body, and a shower sounded like the right idea.
He walked into the bathroom in the other room, turned on the water, and let the heat wash over him.
When he came out, towel around his waist, Alice was sitting on the bed, arms crossed and lips pursed in an unmistakable sulk.
Isaac paused. “What?”
“You could’ve come with me if you wanted to bathe,” she said, her tone half-complaining.
He chuckled, moving closer. He wrapped his arms around her and pressed a light kiss to her forehead. “I will next time.”
Her pout softened, though she didn’t let go of her act entirely.
“Actually,” Isaac said, reaching into his spatial ring, “I’ve got something for you.”
He pulled out the five glowing potions, placing them carefully on the table.
Alice’s eyes widened. “What is this?”
“I got them from the gacha just now,” Isaac explained. “Each one raises a stat by a thousand. Take them.”
“You should take them.”
“I am a Farmer, Alice. I don’t fight much. Besides, you can just protect me if you are worried about my security. So take them, and get stronger.”
Isaac wasn’t worried.
He could just share the stats after Alice took the potions.
Alice stared at him for a moment, then nodded, accepting the vials. She knew he wasn’t going to take them himself no matter what she said.
She uncorked the first and downed it, then moved on to the next.
Isaac sat nearby, watching carefully.
Almost immediately, steam began rising from her skin.
Her muscles twitched as if straining under invisible weight.
The sound of her heartbeat filled the room, faster and louder than normal.
Isaac leaned forward, ready to intervene if anything went wrong.
Alice finished the last potion.
Her body trembled before slowly stilling.
A sense of power filled her.
Then she frowned, nose wrinkling.
“…Do I smell?” she asked, looking at him.
Isaac blinked. “No?”
Alice sniffed herself, then her face scrunched even more. “I smell. I’ll be back in a bit.”
Before he could respond, she was already up and heading back into the bathroom.
Isaac exhaled and pulled up his system window. He needed to check her stats anyway.
The screen filled with numbers.
…
Strength: 100 → 1000 [100]
Agility: 119 → 1000 [119]
Constitution: 125 → 1000 [125]
Spirit Power: 123 → 1000 [123]
Mana: 126 → 1000 [126]
…
Isaac grinned.
“All five are maxed out.”
But the excitement didn’t end there.
Another set of notifications appeared below her stats.
Strength stat has reached the limit. Title: None → Extreme Colossus Will
Agility stat has reached the limit. Title: None → Extreme Wind-Kissed
Constitution stat has reached the limit. Title: None → Extreme Formlock
Spirit Power stat has reached the limit. Title: None → Extreme Mind Echo
Mana stat has reached the limit. Title: None → Extreme Mana Resonance
Isaac leaned back in his chair, grinning.
“She got all Extreme titles.”
He knew that at one hundred points in a stat, people usually unlocked a normal title.
Reaching one thousand granted its extreme version while still in Initiate rank.
He was still admiring the screen when another notification popped up.
Alice Calloway has reached 1000 in all primary stats.
She has achieved a perfect foundation.
New Title unlocked: [Perfect Resonance].
As a result of reaching Perfect Foundation, Alice Calloway will undergo Body Evolution.
Her Solar Draconic Physique is undergoing significant transformation.
Isaac’s eyes widened.
“Body evolution—”
A loud boom shook the bathroom.
Heat exploded outward. The air shimmered with golden flames.
“Damn it!” Isaac cursed, rushing toward the door.
He remembered too well the last time Alice had gone through a change in her physique and awakening.
Back then, the lack of proper support had nearly killed her.
He hoped snothing like that was happening again.
He pushed the bathroom door open.
Inside, the entire space glowed with radiant heat.
Golden flames licked across the walls, steam rising where water struck them.
Alice stood beneath the shower.
Her body was enveloped in golden fire that looked as if it belonged to another world.
But what caught Isaac’s eyes immediately were the changes.
A dragon’s tail swayed gently behind her, scales glinting faintly under the light.
From her back, wings had sprouted, shimmering gold with streaks of flame running along the veins.
The system chimed again in his mind.
Alice Calloway’s Physique Evolution has been completed.
Her Draconic traits have been strengthened.
Solar Fire Affinity: Level 4 → Level 5
Fire Affinity: Level 2 → Level 4
Light Affinity: Level 2 → Level 4
Alice turned her head toward him.
Her crimson eyes burned with golden fire for a brief moment before softening.
“Isaac…”
Her voice was weak, almost trembling.
A wave of exhaustion rolled over her, and her body swayed.
“Hey!” Isaac darted forward, catching her before she could fall.
He pulled her against his chest, feeling the heat still radiating from her.
Her wings folded in close as she leaned into him, breathing shallow but steady.
Isaac held her tightly.
“It’s alright. I’ve got you.”
The golden flames around them slowly began to die down, leaving only the sound of water striking the floor.
