While the guards were inspecting the people, I checked my storage bracelet. I have Super Grade Mana Stones. They are better than the Top Grade.
“Master, don’t worry. I have some with me,” Patrick said from the side.
Hearing that, I was relieved.
Time flew by.

We crossed to the other side and started walking on foot.
“Let’s go to the hotel,” I said to them.
“Master, I heard there is a good hotel ahead. Many important figures are staying there,” Otto said.
“Won’t that be a risk?” Patrick asked.
“It’s okay. Since important figures are there, we can get crucial information,” I muttered.
Next, we started walking towards the hotel. It didn’t take long for us to get there; the building was located at the end of the same street.
Moreover, Falling Star City is a small city. You can easily explore the whole place in one day.

My gaze fell on the hotel name. The name matched the city’s. I didn’t know which backer was behind this hotel.
I used the system function to probe. I wanted to know whether Magic Lords or Forbidden Wizards were present. The system results said that they were not.
I put my mind at ease and walked into the building with those two. A middle-aged man was seated at the admin desk.
Upon seeing us, his face changed drastically. He was a mere Level-7 Wizard. He immediately greeted us.
This time, Otto spoke up and paid the price to book a premium suite. We took the key and started walking towards the room.
One of the staff members came out of nowhere and started leading us.
“Another big figure has come,” the admin staff muttered. The manager was not there, so he called to inform him.
It was important for the manager to be present, especially when big figures were coming to the hotel. They didn’t want to offend anyone important.

We reached the 5th floor via the lift. The staff explained that the entire 5th floor was for premium suites.
“You can usually use rooms on both sides. But because of the upcoming auction, the premium suites are divided. So you can only use the rooms on the left side of the elevator. The other side is reserved for other guests,” he added.
It didn’t offend me. We were not here for sightseeing. The staff opened the door and started showing us around.
The premium suite was wide and spacious. There were multiple rooms with a large living area and an attached balcony.
Seeing that there was more than one room, I sighed in relief. I could use the Gregor Mansion inside the room. More importantly, I couldn’t wait to check the magic spell.

The staff member finished the introduction. I praised him and gave him a few Top Grade Mana Stones. He was excited and thanked us before leaving.
“Okay guys, stay here or go to your room. I’m going to take a rest,” I said to them.
“Master, you can go to the room. We will stay here,” Otto said.
“Yes, Master,” Patrick said.
I looked at their faces.
“Otto, try to collect information from here. I’m sure the hotel staff are already talking about us,” I said.
“Master, you are right. The admin wanted to inform the manager earlier,” Otto said.
“Good.” I nodded to them before going to the main room, which was more spacious.
After entering, I locked the door and asked the system to probe the room.

A mechanical voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, my heart skipped a beat. I had used it on a whim, out of habit.
But I didn’t expect something to be hidden here. Then, I found the location using the system. It was located on the wall.
I destroyed a small section of the wall before taking out the red stone. Looking at the cut of the stone, my eyes glinted with understanding.
It was not a naturally formed treasure. It was created by the latest magic tech. I never expected to come in contact with this tech.
I stared at the red stone. Then I saw images inside. I didn’t know what kind of magic it was. The images must be related to previous guests.
I collected the red stone into my storage bracelet, walked out, and went to check the other rooms one by one.
The noise alerted both Patrick and Otto. Both of them quickly came to the spot.
“Master, what happened?” Patrick asked.
Hearing that, I told them about the stone and took it out for them to see.
Patrick and Otto both recognised the magic tech stone.
“This thing is rare. It doesn’t need electricity. It works on both magic and tech. But these are usually in the hands of powerful figures.”
“It’s made by one of the powerful companies in the world. The same company which makes flying airships and vehicles,” Patrick said.
“Master, it appears powerful people are behind the scenes. You have to be careful with your identity as well,” Otto said.
“Yes, I agree with his words, Master,” Patrick muttered.
On the other hand, my heart was in turmoil. I was expecting people from the Wizard families to stir up things. But it turned out an even more powerful figure was behind the scenes.
Then I collected the red stone into the system space and started searching for others in the room.
Ten minutes later,
I found two more red stones: one in the living room and the other on the balcony. I didn’t destroy them, but I placed them inside the system space.
I think this thing will be helpful in the future.
“Alright, there are no more devices. We can be at ease.” After saying that, I went back to the room and locked the door.
