I was looking around the outer ring. We were yet to find a suitable place. Most of the places were residential buildings.
It appeared most of the population was located in the outer ring.
Patrick and Otto were observing the places as well. If they could help with their old eyes, it would be helpful to the Master.
Suddenly, old man Otto’s eyes flickered. He heard the arguments of a struggling old couple. Their sons and daughters were shifted to a better city.
They wanted to go as well. But no one was there to buy their old store. If they left like that, they would incur losses. But the old couple didn’t know their cry was heard by someone.
“Master, I found something,” Otto said.
Hearing that, I paused my footsteps and turned towards him. Otto seemed to be happy. He must have heard something good.
“What is it?” I asked.
“Otto, don’t keep us in suspense. Tell us what it is,” Patrick urged him.
“He… He… He…” Otto let out a small laugh first. Then he said, “Master, I heard an old couple inside the store. They are struggling to sell their old store. No one is buying it.”
“What?” I muttered.
“Yes, Master. Their sons and daughters had long since moved out. But the old couple was stubborn. They didn’t want to move out without selling the store,” Otto added.
My eyes glinted with understanding.
“Let’s go and check the store first,” Patrick said.
Even he had felt it was difficult to find a place to buy here.
“Let’s go, I’ll show you the place,” Otto took the lead.

[Someone is spying on the host.]
The mechanical voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, my heart turned cold. Just as a good thing was about to happen, this bad news came.
Otto and Patrick stopped walking.
“Master, what happened?” Patrick asked.
Otto said, “Master, if you don’t want to, we can find another place.”
“Someone is spying on us. Let’s not go to the shop today. We will take care of everything after the auction,” I said to them.

Patrick frowned. He had actually sensed someone earlier, but that person was one of the city guards.
Then he said, “Master, apart from the city guard, there is no one else near.”
Otto found the same. He and Patrick were Supreme Wizards. They found one Level-9 City Guard near them. He was patrolling the streets.
“Yes, Master. There is only one City Guard. He seems to be patrolling the streets,” he added.
Hearing that, my eyes flashed with doubt. It was not me, but the system that told me. Since it’s the system, then it must be true.
“It was not a normal glance but spying,” I muttered.
Both of them were shocked. They were Supreme Wizards, but they didn’t find anything wrong with the City Guard patrolling the street.
Patrick then said, “Master, maybe he is patrolling the streets because of the upcoming auction.”
Otto then said, “Master, your mask could have made him notice you.”
I sighed inwardly. I couldn’t tell them it was because of the system. Then I thought of a good idea.
“Let’s continue to walk down the street; we will know soon,” I said to them before I started walking.
Otto and Patrick exchanged looks and started following from behind.
Meanwhile,
A tall middle-aged man noticed that the target was leaving. He was one of the city guards. No one asked him why he was there.
So, he was sure that those three people wouldn’t notice him. Actually, he was scared.
The City Lord gave an order to help the Star Hotel Manager.
The Manager wanted his help to follow a few people and gather their information. When he heard about the information, he was petrified.
The targets were none other than two Supreme Wizards and a Level-9 Wizard. The identity of these people was not ordinary.
He pleaded not to do the task. But the City Lord’s order was strict. He couldn’t afford to lose his job and offend the City Lord either.
“I can’t afford to offend either the City Lord or the Manager. I don’t know why they are making us gather information about powerful people,” the guard muttered.
Then he started following the targets. But he didn’t know his muttering was heard by someone else.
At the same time, old man Otto’s eyes flickered.
“Master, I heard the city guard’s muttering. He said the Star Hotel Manager and the City Lord ordered the guards to collect information about us and other visitors,” Otto said in a low tone.
“So it’s true. Master, you are right,” Patrick said in shock. As Supreme Wizards, they were clueless.
But their Master found out something wrong with the city guard.
A hint of coldness appeared in my eyes. I was planning to subdue the City Lord. But the City Lord seemed to be in touch with the Young Master of the Sutton Family.
Should I control Young Master Sutton or the City Lord? A doubt rose in my heart.
“I think we should go near the City Lord’s building. Maybe Otto could hear something,” I said to them.
“Master, this plan is good,” Otto said.
Patrick agreed with the plan as well. Then we increased our pace and started going towards the City Lord’s building. It’s located in the inner area.
If we went by walking, it would take time. So we found a cab and entered.

The cab hovered above the ground. After appearing in mid-air, it started moving towards the City Lord’s building.
The city guard came following them to the place. Upon seeing that the targets had left in the cab, he felt bad. Then he entered a nearby cab to follow them.
A few minutes later,
The city guard was able to follow the targets. From their direction, he thought they were going towards the City Lord’s building.
It was just his assumption. He was going to follow them wherever they were going. It’s a pity that he wasn’t able to get any information so far. Next time, he decided to go closer to them.
