Gravity Mage with Level-Up System - Chapter 1700: Part 2: Magic Tower people

Chapter 1700: Part 2: Magic Tower people
From MC’s Perspective
Gregor Mansion
Otto started talking about what he heard regarding the Mage Union and Magic Towers first. Then, he explained his encounter with the Magic Lord.
The faces of Hank and Patrick changed drastically. Their eyes filled with fear. They were glad that they had returned earlier.
Otherwise, they could have come across the Magic Lord. Even the dark root vine monster was shocked.
It was a 10th Order Monster, but it was still not confident enough to take down someone at the level of a Magic Lord.
It was on a totally different level of magic power. It involved magic rules. It was the same case with the Forbidden Wizards; they were more powerful than the Magic Lords.
A few minutes later,
Otto finished saying everything. Only then did he feel somewhat relaxed in his heart. But the fear on Patrick and Hank’s faces was still there.
Seeing that, I asked them to sit down. If they had seen that Magic Lord walking into the hotel room, they would have been even more terrified.
Then I turned towards Otto.
“Are you sure the white-haired man had a Silver Tower badge on his chest?” I asked.
“Yes, it was a Silver Tower badge,” Otto replied confidently.
A quick gleam flashed in my eyes.
Because of my short stays in the Silver Tower, I didn’t get the opportunity to meet all the members.
Even during the Wizard Seed time, I never got to meet the other Wizard Seeds because others rarely visited the tower.
Only Susan, Wilfred, and Jason were there. Lastly, I had met with another female member.
Now, I have reached the Level-9 Limit, but I have yet to meet all the other official members. I didn’t have time. I was always on the run.
Even if I had stayed back there, it could have taken many months to meet everyone because most of the members were outside on long-term missions.
Among the Supreme Wizards, I had enmity with Old Man Filip. But his situation was unknown right now.
I didn’t expect to come across the news of another Supreme Wizard here. I raised my eyebrows and fell into deep contemplation.
Hank, Patrick, and Otto saw that their Master had fallen into deep thought. They didn’t want to disturb him.
They too knew the news of the Magic Tower’s Supreme Wizard and the Magic Tower itself was important.
The old butler came back to the building. He walked in and saw the Young Master.
The white-haired young man was seated on the sofa. He was going through a magazine. Upon seeing the Magic Lord, he raised his head.
“What happened?” he asked.
The old butler wore a confused expression on his face.
He said, “I followed the middle-aged man to a hotel. Then I even saw him entering the hotel room. I entered the room a few minutes later.”
“But he was nowhere to be seen,” he added.
The white-haired middle-aged man stopped reading the magazine and turned towards him.
“Are you sure?” he asked.
“Yes, Young Master. I am sure the person walked into the hotel room in front of my eyes. But he later disappeared,” the butler replied.
The white-haired middle-aged man was not an ordinary Supreme Wizard. He came from a wealthy wizard family.
His name was Holden Barrett. The Barrett Family was one of the powerful wizard families in Magic City. The butler’s name was Gideon.
Holden thought that someone was spying on their activities. It could be an enemy family’s doing. He doubted whether they were following them.
He raised his head and said, “What do you think?”
Gideon thought of something before saying, “It could be the work of the Red Magic Tower. They don’t like our Silver Tower.”
Holden shook his head and said, “I don’t think it’s the Red Tower. Those guys are arrogant. They believe their Taboo Magic is enough to solve everything.”
“So it must be the work of another faction,” he added.
Butler Gideon’s eyes flashed with a glint. He then thought of something and said, “Master, why don’t we go back to the Silver Tower?”
“Your faction elders must be there,” he added.
“Silver Tower,” Holden uttered.
He looked at the Silver Tower badge on his chest.
“It’s been a few years. Let’s go back. I have been hearing a few interesting things. It’s time to check out the Silver Tower,” Holden said.
“Master, what about the spy? Should we wait before removing the tail?” Gideon asked.
Holden shook his head and said, “Since we are going back, there is no need to cause trouble. If the spy was sent by wizard families, they could use tricks to target us.”
“Let’s first go to the Silver Tower. After putting up an attendance, then we’ll go to the family,” he added.
Butler Gideon agreed.
Holden then put the magazine on the table and walked out of the building. Butler Gideon accompanied him.
A few minutes later,
They left Scorch Creek City on an aircraft. They wouldn’t have imagined they missed meeting the Silver Tower’s famous wizard.
Meanwhile,
I appeared outside an hour later. I confirmed using the system that no Magic Lord was present in the vicinity.
Then I waited for another hour before bringing out the others. Hank, Patrick, and Otto appeared outside.
“Master, what happened?” Otto asked.
“There is no sign of a Magic Lord. I guess he has already gone,” I replied.
Hearing that, the three of them sighed in relief. If the Magic Lord had decided to target them, they would have had no choice other than to hide in the Gregor Mansion for some time.
“Alright, there is no need to go outside. You can hear things from here. If there are other Magic Lords, then let me know,” I said to Otto.
Because I didn’t know whether the Magic Lord related to the Magic Tower had left or not.
“Okay, Master,” Otto said.
Hank and Patrick decided to do their part. They were going to resume exploring the city later.
After instructing them, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. I had important work to do. I was going to check all the storage bracelets that I had in my system space.
