Chapter 1707: Part 2: How to solve the crisis?

Patrick, Otto, and Hank walked into the room. They were looking at their Master, Vincent. They were expecting to hear the words to leave the city.

I met their gazes. Then I told them that they didn’t have to appear outside for some time. I told them to hold their hands together.

Then I brought them inside the Gregor Mansion.

“Master, what are you going to do?” Otto asked.

“I’m going to see whether there is any way to solve the problem. If I need your help, then I’ll let you guys out.” After saying that, I appeared outside.

Patrick, Otto, and Hank were in shock. They didn’t expect their Master to be daring. Yet, he was just a Level-9 Wizard.

They didn’t think he could face the Magic Lord on his own.

“Don’t underestimate him. I guess he must have thought of a plan already,” Patrick said.

Hearing both of the seniors talking, Hank’s fear reduced. Even the Supreme Wizards had trust in the Master. Then he decided to have trust in him too.

Meanwhile,

In the hotel room, I sat down and began to ponder. The Evil Wizard was not here for sightseeing. The news of the missing people could be connected to him.

Then I asked the system to find the location of the Evil Wizard. If he was in the city, then the system could easily find him.

The system result came back positive. He was located not far away from the hotel. I took a deep breath before leaving the room.

A few minutes later,

I left the hotel room. Then I started going towards the hideout. The locals were going about their business. They didn’t have a clue that a big crisis was going to hit the city.

Because of the current problem, I didn’t have time to ask the Zero Puppet. I didn’t know whether it had found anything about the paradise located outside.

As time went by, I walked away from the busy crowd. I entered a narrow street with fewer people. I continued walking along the footpath.

I came across houses which were old and abandoned. There were not many people using this path.

I got closer to the end of the street.

[Ding! Warning!]

[Ding! Hostile wizards around the abandoned house.]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I paused my footsteps. I was right. There was something going on.

Then I asked whether the Evil Magic Lord was present here or not. The system results came out as negative.

But there were other wizards here. Their strength varied from Level-8 to Level-10. After collecting the details, I continued to approach the abandoned house.

It was a two-storey abandoned brick building. There were exactly ten wizards surrounding the house. I used the system to shield my presence.

They couldn’t sense my presence for now. I wanted to know what was inside the building first. I used the flight ability to move behind the building.

Swoosh!

In a flash, I came to the back side of the building. But there were wizards patrolling here as well.

When they were not looking, I entered the building through the open wall caused by the destroyed structure.

When I appeared inside, I didn’t land on the floor. I hovered in mid-air. My gaze fell on the floor.

A bad smell from somewhere was attacking my nostrils. But I found the floor was neat and clean. Then I realized it could be coming from the first floor.

Then I quietly stepped out of the room. My gaze swept across the place. The wizards were patrolling a few meters away from the place.

They were not in front of the abandoned house. I quietly moved towards the first floor. The bad smell increased all of a sudden.

I came to the front door. But there was no door. The place was open.

[Ding! Warning!]

[Ding! Evil Magic Inscription was found.]

The system warning sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I paused my footsteps. If not for the system warning, I would have entered.

A hint of seriousness appeared in my eyes. I noticed a black drawing on the ground. I felt a hint of danger from it.

Not only that, but I was getting a bad smell from the room. It was the smell of blood. I could tell that missing persons were sacrificed here.

As this understanding dawned on me, I felt something bad was about to happen. The evil inscription seemed to be active. It needed to be destroyed right away.

[Ding! Warning!]

[Ding! The Evil Wizard was detected nearby.]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, a sense of urgency rose in my mind.

I raised my hand and cast the magic spell.

“Gravity Blast.”

A wisp of gray mist shot from my finger. In a flash, the gray beam of energy reached the magic Inscription on the floor and struck it.

Boom!

The next second, an explosion occurred. The evil magic Inscription had active evil magic power.

Because of the disruption, the evil mana exploded along with it. A powerful mana surge appeared.

The powerful destruction force was ready to sweep away the surroundings.

A sense of crisis covered my heart. I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion the next moment.

Boom!

The powerful mixed mana wave destroyed the room along with the rest of the building. In an instant, the whole place was destroyed. The explosion was big.

The destruction reached up to the next abandoned buildings and the street in a flash.

Fire and smoke rose from the buildings in the blink of an eye. The wizards who were patrolling the place were caught off guard.

Everyone was hit by the evil wave. They were flung backwards before crashing into the ground.

The old man, the Evil Magic Lord, appeared in front of the burning building. He saw that the abandoned building was gone.

He had created a powerful evil magic Inscription. But it is gone now. To activate the evil Inscription, he had sacrificed many wizards.

His eyes flashed with anger. An uncontrolled rage appeared in his heart.
