Gravity Mage with Level-Up System - Chapter 1713 - 10th Order Dark Root Vine appeared!

Chapter 1713: 10th Order Dark Root Vine appeared!
From MC’s Perspective
The giant, oval-shaped rock continued to descend. I felt like I was running out of time. Even the powerful spell had failed to destroy the rock.
On the other hand, Hector felt at ease. His heart had set off storms earlier. He didn’t know what kind of magic that was; it had been able to stop the huge rock for a couple of seconds.
Fortunately, the kid was a Level-9 Wizard. If he were a Supreme Wizard, then Hector would be running for his life.
Boom!
The huge rock completely imprisoned me. It was the work of the earth elemental magic rule. Its power was great. I had underestimated it.
Then, I pointed my finger at the ground and cast the magic spell.
“Gravity Push!”
Magic power shot from my right palm and hit the ground.
Boom!
An explosion occurred. It didn’t affect the speed of the oval-shaped rock. Yet, it caused smoke and dust to cover the place.
The next second, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. I immediately arrived in front of the Dark Root Vine Monster. The monster was asleep.
“Wake up,” I uttered.
The crimson orb acted. The Dark Root Vine Monster felt slight pain from the crimson curse. It woke up and sensed that its master had arrived.
Outside
Boom!
The oval-shaped rock touched the ground. The next second, the ground broke. The rock sank beneath the surface with a heavy sound.
The impact force spread across the place. It uprooted the green patches in the surroundings and overturned the plain terrain.
The ground cracked, and uneven rocky structures appeared above. This all happened within seconds.
The place was already covered in dust and sand. Now, huge mushroom clouds appeared. They completely obscured the area.
Yet, Hector could sense what was going on. He didn’t find a trace of the young man at all. He thought he would have turned into a blood paste of organs.
But he had disappeared from sight. Hector wasn’t able to comprehend things. Seeing the mushroom clouds, he decided to wait and check the oval-shaped rock again.
A few seconds later
The shock force was gone. He waved his hand, and the force swept away the mushroom clouds. The sky became clear again.
Hector landed on the ground and walked up to the boulder with a solemn expression on his face. He was hoping to find something beneath the rock.
He expected the young man to be crushed under the rock. He had wanted the full corpse, but nothing could be done. The young man had tested his abilities, so he had to use his full strength.
A powerful Level-10 attack could raze a small city to the ground. Even hundreds of Level-9 Wizards couldn’t stop it. Though, he had to appreciate the courage of the young man.
It was a pity. If not for the client, he wouldn’t have gone to such lengths. He came in front of the boulder. He touched the boulder, ready to remove the huge, oval-shaped rock.
He appeared small in front of the oval-shaped rock. Yet, when he placed his hand on it, the whole rock vibrated as if something was trying to push it away.
Boom!
When he did that, the huge oval-shaped rock moved away from the spot. His eyes looked for the dead young wizard.
Swoosh!
The next second, a thick Dark Root Vine Monster appeared with its whole body. The sharp, long, extending vine attacked all of a sudden.
Pfff!
Hector, who was handling the rock, was stunned. Under his terrified gaze, the sharp end of the vine pierced through his chest.
The 10th Order Monster didn’t face any difficulty at all. It acted like it was piercing paper. The vine came out of his back and lifted him above.
Boom!
The huge boulder then landed on the ground with force again. Another vine part appeared out of nowhere and struck the rock.
The oval-shaped rock faced the attack. The next second, it was destroyed into several small pieces. They were scattered across the place. This all happened within seconds.
Hector’s eyes were in disbelief. He didn’t know where the 10th Order Monster had come from. What about the young man? There were a lot of questions in his mind.
Yet, his vitality was slipping away. Before he could ask anything further, the vine slammed him against the ground.
Boom!
The collision caused a huge crater to appear. Hector’s body was stuck in the middle of the ground. The vine monster felt thirsty. It started to suck the blood away.
Hector had half his consciousness left. He was shocked to the core. He could tell what was going on right now. He wanted to lift his finger, but it wasn’t happening.
In the blink of an eye, his vitality reached the end. His eyes became dim. He was a respected Supreme Wizard in his country. He couldn’t believe he would meet his end at an unknown place.
All because of his greed. He had wanted to collect magic resources through other means. The illegal business had led him to this state now.
Hector’s eyes flashed with regret before losing his last breath. His corpse was now a dry husk; it had no blood. The Dark Root Vine then withdrew the vine end.
The 10th Order Monster had absorbed the energy of the Supreme Wizard. Its old power was now being rejuvenated. It needed time to absorb the energy.
Swoosh!
I appeared outside and saw that Hector was dead. Then I removed his storage bracelet before placing it inside the system space.
The 10th Order Monster conveyed that it needed rest. Then I took the monster back inside the Gregor Mansion.
The Vine Monster appeared in the hall. It shrank its size and continued to rest.
I appeared back outside. I looked at the corpse. Instead of burying it, it was better to destroy it. I used the gravity domain spell.
A dark gray sphere enveloped the place and me. The gravity pressure acted on the dead corpse. The dry corpse was then crushed into pieces. Not even a single clue was left.
