Gravity Mage with Level-Up System - Chapter 1723 1723: Super Relic (Void Sky Crystal)

From MC Perspective
Gregor Mansion
I touched the Magic Lord’s corpse before putting it inside the system space. Only then did the massive coercion disappear.
Hank was injured and unconscious. He was merely a Level-9 Wizard.
The coercion would have taken his life if it had lasted a few more seconds. On the other hand, the coercion didn’t spare the Supreme Wizards either.
Patrick and Otto suffered injuries as well. The 10th Order Vine Monster was not well; it had cracked upon contact.
It needed urgent treatment. But Hank’s situation was worse. A simple wave of coercion from the Magic Lord skeleton had hurt his organs.
Fortunately, their Master stored the skeleton at the last moment.
Otto then noticed something. He saw that Master’s right hand was hurt; it was bloodied. Then he noticed a trace of blood leaking from Master’s mouth.
“Master,” Otto uttered.
Patrick turned towards Master. His expression turned grave. It was the first time for them to see Master getting injured. He had somehow always avoided such calamities with his planning and quick thinking.
Patrick and Otto exchanged glances. Their eyes flashed with a gleam. They understood that this time, their Master had made a mistake.
[Ding! Warning]
[Host is injured. Recovery is needed.]
The mechanical voice sounded in my mind. At the same time, I heard the voice of Otto.
“It was too close.” My heart shuddered.
I wasn’t thinking about the skeleton, but about the evil monstrous hand outside. If I was seconds later, the monstrous hand would have hurt me.
Fortunately, I succeeded at the last moment. But still, I couldn’t remain unharmed. The Magic Lord’s coercion caught me off guard.
It appears the evil giant hand must have been suppressing the coercion earlier. Without paying attention to it, I took it outside.
A bitter smile appeared in my eyes. I’m relying too much on external things. It has dulled my senses. There is a reason why those ancient wizards, Supreme Wizards, and Magic Lords have died here.
The coercion from the giant alone killed them. Not only that, the broken hand contained some kind of magic power.
“Is that intelligence?” I asked myself.
Then I shook my head. Right now, I need to focus on my current situation. I summoned the status panel and saw my condition.
The stats had dropped massively. My body was injured, but the mana core and internal organs were safe.
I closed the status panel and turned towards the others. When my gaze swept across them, my expression changed drastically.
I appeared in front of Hank. Seeing that he was seriously injured, my eyes flashed with guilt.
“It was my fault,” I uttered.
Then I checked the storage bracelets in my system space. I found quite a good healing product. I used an 8th and 9th-grade magic potion on Hank.
Then I distributed Grade 10 potions to Vine monster, Patrick, and Otto.
The 10th Order Vine Monster needed more. Seeing that it had made direct contact, I gave it more. Fortunately, the looted items helped me now.
Otherwise, the situation would have forced me to return to Thornside City.
“Master, what happened?” Patrick asked.
Hearing that, Otto and the Vine Monster turned towards me.
“It’s both bad and good news. I’ll tell you guys later. Focus on recovery first,” I said to them.
Otto, Patrick, and the Vine Monster nodded, then they went to their rooms to recuperate. My gaze fell on Hank lying on the floor.
I brought out the Zero Puppet and activated it. I told the Zero Puppet to monitor Hank. If there was any change in Hank’s condition, he would inform me.
Then I went to the control room and arrived in front of the control mirror. I saw a similar pitch-black scene outside.
I had brought back the gadget, so there was nothing to illuminate the place outside. But I could discern a few clues. The situation outside had turned calm.
My attention shifted to the Magic Lord skeleton. I was sure I saw that the skeleton was holding something. I couldn’t take the skeleton outside again.
So, I used the system to check the object.
[Ding! Super relic detected.]
[The host can use the Void Sky Crystal to increase magic talent.]
The system voice sounded in my mind. The next second, I widened my eyes in disbelief. I had no choice earlier but to enter the crevice.
But my eventual exploration led me to stumble upon the treasure. What’s more? It was a super relic, not just a special relic.
I can increase my talent with it. It’s many times stronger than a special relic. Then I ordered the system to use the super relic directly to increase my talent.
I didn’t have to take it outside to use it. The next second, I felt changes in me. It made me sit cross-legged on the ground.
I found not only my body was undergoing a transformation, but my mind and soul as well. The magic spell models in my mind were affected by the transformations too.
I could feel more connection to the gravity mana. My affinity towards gravity mana had increased.
…
Meanwhile,
The Magic Lord was in his office. Suddenly, he felt a sense of crisis coming from somewhere. His face changed drastically.
He exited the office room and appeared above the clouds. He gazed at the mana in the sky. He was a Magic Lord, so he could see the disturbances clearly.
His gaze then paused in one particular direction. He saw that the mana in that place was chaotic. He used his mental power to probe.
The next second, his face became worse. When he tried to probe, he felt a sense of crisis out of nowhere.
But he was sure that no enemy was hiding there. What could it be? The next second, he thought of something. He disappeared from the spot and arrived closer to the location.
Then he saw the spot was none other than the ancient pit.
A look of understanding dawned on him. He had chased the wizard earlier, but everyone had lost track. He had assumed the wizard would have entered the hollow pit.
Now he thought he was right. The wandering wizard might have triggered something down there.
