The locals were nowhere to be seen. When they saw the path outside the city, the roads were filled with people and their vehicles.

The representatives didn’t know what had happened. But they could tell that the locals had become refugees in a few hours.

They landed on the ground and reached the city office. There were followers of Magic Lord Johan. They were waiting for Magic Lord Johan to return.

When they saw the representatives from the surroundings had come, they started their discussion with them.

“Magic Lord Johan didn’t say anything to us,” one of the old guards said.

“Tell us, what happened here?” one of the representatives asked.

The old guard then started explaining the situation to them. The representatives then learned what happened to the city.

They were able to know that the magic trees were dead. But they were confused. What was the reason behind their death? No one saw anyone attacking the magic trees. Their death was a mystery.

Then the representatives didn’t waste their time. They immediately went back to their city. They didn’t even know that the ancient pit was disturbed.
