Gravity Mage with Level-Up System - Chapter 1784: Joining White Silver Faction!

Chapter 1784: Joining White Silver Faction!
Silver Tower
The following day, someone visited the tower in the early morning. The person was none other than the Forbidden Wizard, Erwin.
He came unannounced; no one knew of his return. He immediately summoned Manager Lara to learn what had happened during his absence. He sat himself down on the sofa.
Shortly afterward, Manager Lara came to the lobby. Upon seeing the Forbidden Wizard Erwin, she was stunned. The next second, she heaved a huge sigh of relief.
“Lord Erwin!” she uttered.
Erwin smiled and said, “It appears you are doing okay. So, tell me what happened during my absence.”
Hearing that, Manager Lara started explaining the events to him, including the return of Vincent Carey and the news of his new shop opening.
About 20 minutes later, Erwin’s eyes flashed with a gleam. He hadn’t expected so many things to happen.
The Black Tower and the Elemental Towers hadn’t given up; they had used their resources to look for them everywhere.
Both he and Charlotte had private business to deal with, so they had to stay away from the Magic City for some time. Now that he had returned, it wouldn’t be long before Charlotte returned as well.
He then thought of Vincent Carey. His eyes flickered. He looked toward Manager Lara and asked, “Are you sure he is a Supreme Wizard right now?”
Manager Lara nodded her head. “He found an opportunity in a remote region. He was able to become a Supreme Wizard before coming here,” she replied.
Erwin smiled. It was good news because Vincent Carey had not joined any factions officially.
To join a faction, one needed to be an official member, and then they needed to have a background and support.
Vincent Carey’s rise was fast. He had the support of the two Forbidden Wizards, but he didn’t have a background.
That problem could be solved. Since Vincent Carey was a Sub-Taboo Wizard, he could already perform Mage Union missions.
“Where is he right now?” Erwin asked.
“He opened an appraisal shop in Crystal City. He is staying there with an alternative identity,” Lara said.
“Call him!
I want him to join our faction. If the news about his strength were to be leaked, others would jump at the chance,” Erwin said. “Once the registration is done, he doesn’t have to hide anymore. His position in the Silver Tower will be solidified.”
Manager Lara nodded her head before picking up her device. She then phoned Vincent Carey.
…
Crystal City
At home, in the office room, I was observing the customers. After yesterday’s incident, the number of customers had reduced.
There was no queue forming outside; only one or two people were inside the gallery room.
The news had already spread across the city and even to nearby cities. People must be afraid to come here. I collected my thoughts.
Buzz!
The next second, my device buzzed. I took it out and saw the contact. The person calling was none other than Manager Lara. I should use this chance to inform her about last night’s attack.
I answered the call. I immediately heard Manager Lara’s voice, but the words she said stunned me.
“Lord Erwin has returned,” I uttered in surprise.
“Yes, he is back. He wants to see you right now, so leave right away,” Lara said.
“Alright.” After saying that, I ended the call.
I put the device away in my storage bracelet and touched my face mask, feeling that it was intact.
Creak!
I opened the door and walked out. The few customers inside were stunned upon seeing me.
“Shop owner Frank!”
“Shop owner Frank!”
They ran up to me. I greeted them before saying, “I have important work to do.”
I told the staff to look after the shop while I went to the Magic City. They wanted to come along, but I told them I would be fine. I left the shop and went to the open field.
Swoosh!
The next second, I brought the Black Raven Aircraft out. It sat gently on the ground. I opened the cockpit and climbed inside.
I wasn’t worried about being seen by others; the spies had already seen the Black Raven Aircraft before. That time, Manager Lara had operated it.
I collected my thoughts and started the aircraft.
Swoosh!
The aircraft hovered above the ground, and then I started driving it toward my destination. The Black Raven moved through the air. In the blink of an eye, it left the airspace of Crystal City.
When the aircraft left, it was seen by many people, including the city authorities and people from major forces.
At this point, they had researched shop owner Frank’s background. They knew this aircraft was owned by Manager Lara.
Seeing the aircraft leave the city, they immediately thought of last night’s incident. Many connected the dots quickly, saying that shop owner Frank was going to the Magic City to meet Manager Lara in the Silver Tower.
Attacking shop owner Frank was the same as offending Manager Lara. Though she was a Manager, she was a Magic Lord and an official member of the Silver Tower. She was someone to be feared.
Now that Frank had left, she definitely wouldn’t stay silent. Her relative had been attacked; she would certainly use her resources to find the culprit.
The news quickly spread to the wizard families and associations in the city. Actually, they weren’t surprised. After last night’s incident, it was normal for Frank to seek help.
Because the attacker was no ordinary person, the black-clothed figure was a Magic Lord. Even the authorities had been scared last night; they couldn’t even sense his presence.
It showed that the Magic Lord who came last night was no ordinary person. Everyone was pointing toward wizard associations in other cities.
They worked for different Magic Towers and could have sent someone for probing.
Apart from them, no one had the guts to target the Silver Tower, especially the relative of a Magic Lord. The mastermind’s identity had to be significant.
…..
Magic City
The Black Raven aircraft continued to fly through the air. This time, the stealth mode was off; everyone could see the aircraft in flight.
The people below watched as the modern aircraft soared across the sky.
Time passed.
The Black Raven flew over the beautiful city. As the seconds went by, it crossed one satellite city after another. Within half an hour, it had passed several cities.
Shortly afterward, the Black Raven entered the airspace of Magic City. It didn’t take long for the aircraft to approach the Silver Tower.
All the spies stationed near the magic towers were shocked by the sudden appearance of the aircraft. It looked familiar to them; they recalled that the Black Raven had been used by Manager Lara before.
Gasp!
They sucked in a cold breath of air and immediately shared the news with others.
The Black Raven landed in front of the Silver Tower. I opened the cockpit and stepped outside.
I was wearing a mask. After confirming my surroundings, I headed toward the tower. I used my badge and stepped inside.
In the blink of an eye, I was in. I walked into the lobby and saw someone sitting on a sofa. His face looked familiar. He was browsing the online news.
The person was none other than Forbidden Lord Erwin. My heart skipped a beat.
I removed my mask and greeted him.
“Lord Erwin!”
Hearing that, Erwin frowned. He stopped browsing and turned toward Vincent Carey.
His brow relaxed, and a bright smile appeared on his face. His eyes seemed to see right through Vincent Carey’s power.
“Supreme,” his eyes gleamed with a twinkle.
“Kid, your progression was fast. You have now become a Supreme Wizard. It is time to stabilize your position,” Erwin said with a smile.
Hearing that, I doubted my ears.
“Stabilize my position?” I uttered.
“Yes. You have become a Supreme Wizard; it is time for you to join a faction. There are three factions in our Silver Tower. Lord Charlotte and I belong to the faction of Elder Dana. Manager Lara also belongs to our faction.”
“There is also a neutral faction, which is the second faction. Then there is the third faction, which is the hostile faction,” Erwin explained.
Hearing this, my heart stirred. It was the first time I had heard about the factions.
When I first arrived here, Manager Lara and Lord Charlotte helped me. Then Lord Erwin helped me with my missions.
Coincidentally, I had taken a mission given by Elder Dana and completed it and all of them belonged to the same faction.
I didn’t know what to say, but I made my decision.
“I am happy to join your faction,” I replied.
“Good. The name of our faction is White Silver. The hostile faction is called Black Silver,” Erwin said in a calm tone.
He then told Vincent Carey to take a seat. I sat down, and Erwin began to explain more about the three factions.
There were still people who were not part of any faction, but their numbers were few.
At that moment, Manager Lara arrived here as well.
