Gravity Mage with Level-Up System - Chapter 1800: They have come

Chapter 1800: They have come
The Office Room
The storage bracelet of the Forbidden Wizard was important. I did not recall opening it; it had been sitting in my inventory since that day.
I took the black storage bracelet out and placed it on the table.
Looking at it, I was reminded of that day, a day I could never forget. I decided then to open the bracelet. Just as I was about to exert my mental power:
[Ding! Warning!]
[The host’s mind will be injured upon forceful prying.]
Hearing the system warning, my eyes flashed with understanding. I immediately summoned Old Man Rock.
When Old Man Rock entered the room, he looked surprised. I told him to take a seat first. Rock nodded his head before sitting down, and I pushed the storage bracelet toward him.
“I obtained the storage bracelet of the Forbidden Wizard some time ago. My strength was not enough to open it. You are a Magic Lord, try and see if you can open it,” I said to him.
Old Man Rock’s expression changed drastically. He hadn’t expected Master Vincent to possess something like this. He was visibly hesitant; he knew the gap between a Magic Lord and a Forbidden Wizard.
It might appear to be only a one-level difference, but the true gap lay in the power of magical rules.
Since I had requested it, he decided to give it a try. He picked up the bracelet and was about to use his mental power when a sense of crisis gripped his heart.
As a Magic Lord, he sensed the danger immediately. He withdrew his mental power and placed the bracelet back on the table.
“Master, I cannot do it. It bears traces of Forbidden-level rule power. Anyone other than a Forbidden Wizard will be injured,” Rock said in a serious tone.
I wasn’t surprised. I had wanted to open it for a long time, but I didn’t know when that would finally be possible.
I didn’t want to seek help from Lord Erwin, as the events of that day were a secret. Nobody knew I had obtained the storage bracelet of a Forbidden Wizard.
“Okay, you can go back,” I said.
Rock sighed in relief, stood up, and left the room. I picked up the storage bracelet and placed it back inside the system space.
Then I leaned back, giving up the thought of going through the rest of the items. I was being overly cautious.
Since Manager Lara was on her way, she would be here soon. I didn’t know what Lord Erwin was doing.
…
Time passed. That evening, many flying vehicles entered Crystal City. The city authorities were stunned to see the vehicles arrive unannounced.
The City Authorities informed their higher ups. But they didn’t know the old man there already sensed the presence.
All twenty vehicles came to a halt in front of the Crystal Community.
Then, the first seven vehicles flew forward, entering the community airspace and stopping near the shop.
Gasp!
Their appearance caused a massive commotion. Flying was not allowed above the community airspace, yet these vehicles had appeared anyway.
“Customers should leave the shop. It’s not safe to stay here.”
A loud voice reached everyone’s ears. The customers were shocked, looking around for the source.
“I know that voice, it’s the shop owner, Frank!” someone in the crowd shouted.
Hearing that, the others understood. Trouble had arrived. If they stayed, they could become cannon fodder in the coming fight.
In the blink of an eye, the customers fled the area. At that moment, the city authorities appeared.
Inside the shop, the members had gathered. I walked out of the office and found their gazes fixed on me.
“People from the Tulip Auction House are here. They are here for me. You guys stay inside. Old Man Rock, you accompany me,” I told them.
Patrick, Otto, and Hank were shocked. As Supreme Wizards, they didn’t know what to do.
They truly wanted to help, as they held no grudges related to the Crimson Curse. Before leaving, I told them to keep an eye on the two monsters.
Wearing my mask, I walked out of the residence with Old Man Rock by my side. My gaze fell on the seven vehicles hovering in mid-air.
I asked the system about the wizards inside. The system’s answer stunned me: There were seven Magic Lords across the vehicles.
A storm set off in my heart. I hadn’t expected the Tulip Auction House to send seven Magic Lords.
Swoosh!
An old man wearing a tuxedo appeared before me, flanked by two middle-aged men. I recognized them, they were city authorities I had met during the banquet. The old man was a Magic Lord as well.
“Elder Blake,” I greeted him.
Blake’s eyes flashed. “They are from the Tulip Auction House,” he said seriously.
“I know,” I replied, shifting my gaze to the flying vehicles above.
Creak!
The doors opened, and six Magic Lords stepped out. There were four old men and two old women, ancestors from the six wizard families sent to assist the Auction House owner, Roderick.
Gasp!
The neighbors, who were watching from outside their houses, gasped in surprise.
Patrick, Hank, and Otto watched from the shop, filled with fear. They didn’t know how Master Vincent was going to handle this.
Elder Blake’s face turned grim. He recognized the ancestors of the Tulip City families.
He wasn’t sure if a fight would break out; while fighting was banned by the Mage Union, he couldn’t be certain these people wouldn’t dare to use their magic here.
Old Man Rock, sensing their strength, felt the weight of the crisis as well.
On the other hand, my gaze set on these people. Only six of them have come outside. But I know there is one more person inside.
I didn’t know why he was not showing up. What more? The Tulip Auction House Owner was nowhere to be seen.
But I think he is here as well. He has yet to show his face.
