Chapter 1801: Part 1: Conflict

My gaze fell on the people. There were four old men, and two others looking towards me. They were all Magic Lords.

I felt their piercing gazes and a sense of crisis. I wondered whether they would dare to attack me or not.

Elder Blake and the old man, Rock, were standing next to me. They could feel that the six Magic Lords were looking at us.

Creak!

The next second, someone stepped out of the vehicle. The person was an old man. He was none other than the Auction House Owner, Roderick.

Roderick revealed a bright smile on his face.

His gaze fell on Shop Owner Frank. Then, his gaze fell on Magic Lord Blake and the Body Magic Lord, Rock.

Roderick felt lucky that he had brought assistance from other wizard families. He could handle the situation now.

“Shop Owner Frank, everyone thought you were a credible appraiser. But you gave false information to our employee, Cedric.”

“Cedric committed a grave mistake by killing many people. It was all because of you. Your false information clouded his mind.”

“Shop Owner Frank, come with us obediently. You have to face punishment,” Roderick said in a loud tone.

His voice reached everyone, including the guards stationed at the gates. Everyone’s expressions changed drastically. They were right; the Tulip Auction House wanted to frame Shop Owner Frank.

City Authority Elder Blake frowned. He was right. The Tulip Auction House Owner wanted to frame Shop Owner Frank.

He couldn’t let them succeed.

Old man Rock frowned. He knew Master Vincent’s alternate identity now. If Vincent had shown his other identity, Rock doubted these people would be so arrogant.

On the other hand, I felt a burning, malicious gaze. I heard the old man’s words, and a terrible killing intent appeared in my heart.

To think an ordinary auction house dares to cause this problem. There must be someone behind them. I guessed it must be the last Magic Lord.

He was still in the vehicle. Who could it be? A lot of questions came to mind.

Roderick saw that Shop Owner Frank didn’t react at all. He remained the same. Roderick’s eyes filled with anger.

Inside the vehicle, Magic Lord Scott didn’t bother to come out. His job was to assist the Auction House Owner.

But deep down, he didn’t want to offend the Silver Tower. At the same time, he wondered whether anyone from the Silver Tower had come.

He believed Manager Lara must be here. That’s why he didn’t show his face.

Roderick lost his composure. He then signaled the Magic Lords to step forward. The Magic Lords were annoyed; they didn’t want to be commanded by a Supreme Wizard.

But they knew the real backer was inside the vehicle. They didn’t want to offend him.

“Shop Owner Frank, come with us!” an old man stepped forward.

His family was close to the Tulip Auction House. Knowing that a Magic Lord from the Flame Elemental Tower was here, he took the initiative ahead of the other five wizards.

He immediately appeared in front of Shop Owner Frank.

He had thick white hair, a beard, and a wrinkled face. Compared to the other Magic Lords, he was much older.

He had already exhausted his potential. That was why he was trying to pave the way for his descendants.

The other Magic Lords were surprised. At the same time, the sense of crisis increased.

The old man really planned to take me by force.

“Old man Benny, are you out of your mind?”

“Shop Owner Frank has the backing of the Silver Tower,” Elder Blake said, stepping into the middle. He blocked the old man’s pressure.

Old man Benny’s face turned ugly. He knew the other person had the backing of the Silver Tower, but since he had decided to come here, he couldn’t hesitate now.

“Blake, I don’t want to attack the City Authority. Move aside!” After saying that, old man Benny made a move without using a magic spell.

The next second, he released a coercion at the level of a Magic Lord.

I heard the system warning the second my body was hit by the pressure. My body flew backwards.

A terrible force was harming my internal organs. Then, something happened the mirror artifact activated.

The artifact neutralized the harming force in the blink of an eye.

I crashed into the ground before the entrance. This all happened within seconds.

“Old thing, you dare!”

Rock was stunned. Then, he made a furious move against old man Benny. Even Blake was stunned.

Old man Benny’s eyes flashed with disdain. He decided to block the incoming attack. The next second, he felt something wrong.

A terrible force increased his sense of crisis. Old man Benny’s eyes flashed with fear. He wanted to retract his hand, but it was too late.

Boom!

The fists struck his chest. The next second, he was blasted away. The old man’s eyes filled with unwillingness. He fell to the ground.

Pfff!

He coughed up blood. All of this happened within seconds.

The old man was close to the end of his lifespan to begin with; now, that attack left him with internal injuries. His eyes flashed with realization.

“A Body-type Magic Lord,” he gritted his teeth in anger.

The other Magic Lords reacted. They immediately appeared in front of the old man and helped him up.

Swoosh!

Magic Lord Rock reacted and came to his Master’s side. He helped me get up.

[Ding! The host is injured!]

[Host, the mirror artifact offset the attack.]

The system voice sounded in my mind.

“Old man Benny, are you trying to kill Shop Owner Frank?” Blake reacted when he saw blood on the Shop Owner’s face. He was truly scared.

If Manager Lara confronted him, he wouldn’t know what to say.

The Auction House Owner was shocked and angry. He didn’t expect them to stand against him.

He didn’t want to use the help of Magic Lord Scott yet; otherwise, it could become a direct conflict between the Silver Tower and the Red Flame Tower.

Meanwhile, the members watching from inside the shop were shocked to the core. They were angry, but they were powerless to help. Even the two monsters were alerted.
