I didn’t take off my mask. I stood upright. Old man Rock supported me. I didn’t know what to do next.

The main person was yet to show up. The only thing that kept my hope alive was that it was not allowed to use magic spells here.

“Shop owner Frank!”

“Don’t be stubborn. Come with us.”

“If you continue to stand against us, then you will get hurt,” Roderick said in a cold tone.

Then he glanced at the vehicle. Magic Lord Scott was still not making his appearance. It showed that he was not ready to move.

Roderick was angry. He knew if any small mistake happened, then he would take the blame.

On the other hand, I still showed no reaction. Old man Rock, standing next to me, was nervous. He didn’t know what Master Vincent was thinking.

If he told them his real identity, then these people wouldn’t dare to show force here.

Among the six Magic Lords, only the old man Benny was willing to take action. Even now he is injured.

“Capture him!”

A stern male voice sounded. It carried enormous weight. Hearing that, everyone shuddered. The voice of Magic Lord Scott sounded.

Roderick sighed in relief. He was worried that Scott wouldn’t take action. The six Magic Lords reacted. They moved to capture the shop owner, Frank.

Swoosh!

Once again, Elder Blake and Rock tried to block them. But their opponents’ numbers were high. It was difficult to stop them.

The members inside the shop reacted; they wanted to help, but they were too late and powerless.

The six Magic Lords confronted Blake and Rock. Two of them held onto each of them. The remaining two wizards appeared in front of Shop Owner Frank. These two Magic Lords were old women.

On the other hand, my heartbeat was racing. I didn’t want to be captured. I didn’t want to reveal my identity yet.

Swoosh!

Just as the two old women’s hands reached for me, they were swiftly hit by something.

Boom!

The two old women rocketed backwards before crashing into the ground. This attack stunned everyone.

The person who made an appearance was none other than Manager Lara. It was against the rule to use magic spells, but she swept away the two old hags with her swift palms.

“Manager Lara,” I said in my heart.

Elder Blake and old man Rock saw Manager Lara as well. They sighed in relief. The faces of the four wizards changed drastically.

The worst thing had happened. She had come. Now, they couldn’t do anything against her.

The Magic Lords turned towards Roderick. Including the old man Benny, he had done his part well.

But next up was the Silver Tower. He didn’t want his family to be wiped out. He was going to sit this one out. It was the same case with the other elders.

The two old women struggled to stand up. Manager Lara then looked at the auction house owner before shifting her gaze to the vehicle.

She knew the Magic Lord from the Flame Elemental Tower was inside, because she recognized and was familiar with Magic Lords from other Elemental Towers.

Gasp!

A huge exclamation occurred, especially from the neighbors who were watching from a distance.

The incident had already alarmed the locals; it was just that they couldn’t enter the Crystal Community. The guards there were blocking their path.

“Who injured you?” Lara asked. She saw blood on Vincent’s body. She could see that his internal organs were hurt.

The faces of the six Magic Lords changed drastically. Even the auction house owner, Roderick, was scared. The main part of the show had come.

“It’s that old man,” Rock pointed his finger at the old man Benny.

“You…” Old man Benny was shocked. He tried to refute it.

Manager Lara’s eyes turned cold. Others didn’t know, but she knew that Vincent was part of the White Silver Faction in the Silver Tower.

“Harrumph!”

She gave a cold snort. A terrible pressure rushed towards the old man Benny. His face changed drastically, his eyes filled with fear. Before he could do something, he was hit by something again.

Boom!

His body blasted backwards. His already hurt internal organs were damaged again. The old man’s lifespan reduced all of a sudden. He may not live for a decade.

“This?” The faces of the other Magic Lords changed drastically.

They were all Magic Lords, but Manager Lara was well above them in strength. They looked at her in fear. If they were attacked, it would be the same case as the old man Benny.

Boom!

The next second, the exact same thing happened. Manager Lara struck the others with the same attack. It was not a magic spell, but a combination of pressure and brute force.

They were struck one after another. Two were down earlier; the rest of the three were thrown off in different directions. Three of them were hit hard and landed heavily on the ground.

Slap!

The auction house owner, Roderick, was not spared. He was slapped. His body rolled backwards before crashing into the field. After doing that, she returned to Vincent Carey’s side.

Gasp!

There was a huge gasp. No one expected Manager Lara to be this harsh.

She spared no one from Tulip City. City Authority Blake was glad that he had made a move to protect Shop Owner Frank. Otherwise, he would have been taught a lesson.

Old man Rock sighed in relief. Now he understood why Master Vincent was patient. The help had arrived a bit late.

“Are you alright?” she asked.

“I’m fine. But there is still one more person left,” I replied.

Manager Lara was not surprised, but the other two were shocked.

Clap! Clap!

The next second, a clapping sound was heard. A man stepped out of the vehicle. He was wearing the Mage Robe of the Flame Elemental Magic Tower.

Everyone felt a rise in temperature. Though he didn’t release any mana pressure, his presence alone caused environmental changes.

Manager Lara’s eyes turned solemn. She saw the person was none other than Magic Lord Scott. She knew he was a troublesome person, but she decided to protect Vincent Carey.
