Magic Lord Scott looked down at Manager Lara. He shifted his gaze toward the shop owner, Frank.

He was right. She had come to the rescue. Others were no match for her.

“Manager Lara, step aside. Your relative is a suspect. He gave false information to Cedric. It resulted in many deaths.”

“You better not get involved,” Scott warned.

Hearing that, Manager Lara snorted.

“It’s not going to happen,” she said next.

Then she appeared in front of Vincent, facing Magic Lord Scott.

Both of them stared into each other’s eyes. Neither of them wanted to back down.

Auction house owner Roderick and the others were scared as well. This matter was no longer a simple accusation.

If the confrontation extended further, then the higher-ups would react. It would only be a matter of time before they dug up the truth.

Old man Roderick didn’t know what went down that day. He knew Cedric had visited the shop owner, Frank, but he didn’t know the truth.

He hoped Magic Lord Scott would do something before someone exposed them.

The situation of the Magic Lords from the wizard families was not good. They were injured. They understood the terror of Manager Lara.

She was truly strong. They didn’t know whether Magic Lord Scott was going to confront her.

Magic Lord Scott turned toward the Magic Lords. They were injured and were not in a position to fight.

Scott made a decision the next second. He disappeared from the spot and appeared closer to the shop owner, Frank.

He was about to catch him, but he was blocked by Manager Lara.

Scott’s expression darkened further. He didn’t want to use a magic spell, but he had to complete the orders given by Lord Callum.

Lord Callum wanted to use this opportunity to target the Silver Tower, so Scott couldn’t retreat. His eyes filled with killing intent.

He thought of something and made a move against Rock and Elder Blake. Both of them saw something flash before their eyes.

Both Magic Lords were caught off guard. They were thrown off in different directions.

Manager Lara struck with her fists again. Magic Lord Scott blocked the attack. He tried to target the shop owner, Frank, but he was blocked by her.

“Capture him!” Scott ordered old man Roderick.

Hearing that, Roderick came back to his senses. The other Magic Lords were injured.

Magic Lord Scott and Lara took their fight back to the sky. They were fighting in mid-air, but they were not using magic spells.

Only the sound of fists clashing sounded in the air. The terrifying noise spread across the city. The whole city was alarmed.

Those who didn’t know earlier rushed to the scene, including the heads of the Wizard Association. Some of them were Magic Lords as well.

Magic Lord Edmund was among them as well. He didn’t expect the situation to become this bad.

Roderick followed the orders of Magic Lord Scott. He rushed toward Shop Owner Frank to capture him.

“Shop owner Frank, are you alright?” Edmund asked.

“I’m good.” After saying that, I looked toward the sky. Two lights could be seen fighting against each other.

Edmund followed my gaze and looked at the scene in the sky. He was shocked. The confrontation had become a fight between the Silver Tower and the Flame Elemental Tower.

“Why is the Flame Elemental Tower getting into this?” I asked myself.

Everything made sense now. The Flame Elemental Tower was targeting them. I was just a tool.

Edmund frowned. Things were getting out of hand. On the other hand, the six Magic Lords regained their mobility.

If they wanted, they could have stepped forward to catch Shop Owner Frank, but the local forces had come. They didn’t want to fight the local forces; otherwise, they would be further injured.

In mid-air, the fighting continued. Scott noticed the situation down below. His expression darkened further. No one had captured Shop Owner Frank.

“Trash!” he uttered with anger.

Manager Lara saw the situation as well. She sighed in relief. The local forces had come; it would be hard for others to cause trouble.

“Magic Lord Scott, why don’t we stop here?” Lara said to him.

Scott’s face darkened. He thought they had lost the initiative. They had wasted time, and now that local forces had arrived, it was difficult for them to capture Shop Owner Frank.

This was because the fight had become a conflict between the Silver Tower and the Flame Elemental Tower.

The local forces here were part of the Silver Tower.
