Gravity Mage with Level-Up System - Chapter 1809: Part 1: Action

Chapter 1809: Part 1: Action
Nighttime,
I used the system to find where the goods were located, but the results surprised me. They were inside the cabin where the Magic Lords were staying.
I raised my eyebrows. There was no way I could directly barge into their room to plunder the goods.
I tried to come up with a solution. Then, I thought of a naive plan. I didn’t know whether it would work or not, but I didn’t have a better plan than this.
I walked up to their cabin. After arriving in front of the room, I used the system to confirm that my presence was shielded.
Knock!
I knocked on the door. Immediately after, I disappeared from the spot and reappeared inside the Gregor Mansion.
Outside,
A person opened the door and walked out. He was an old man with short white hair. He saw no one outside.
The old man frowned and spread his mental power to cover the whole ship. In the blink of an eye, he sensed eight Supreme Wizards staying in the next two cabins.
Those cabins had goods as well, but the most important cargo was in his room.
The old man didn’t find anything else. The captain and his assistant were awake, focused on operating the airship. He couldn’t find a single soul.
“Was it a dream?” the old man muttered, frowning.
But he was sure that he had heard a knocking sound earlier. He looked around once more before returning to the room. A few seconds later, he opened the door and walked out again.
He immediately used his senses to confirm whether anyone else was present. Seeing that no one was there, the old man finally returned to the room.
“What a cautious old man,” I uttered in a grim tone. If I had appeared any earlier, I would have been caught by him.
Fortunately, I had the system with me. I confirmed the old man’s activities; he had returned to his seat and closed his eyes.
Swoosh!
I appeared outside again, my eyes flashing with a cold glint.
Knock!
Again, I knocked on the door. This time, the sound was loud. All three people inside the room were now awake. Before they could walk out, I disappeared back into the Gregor Mansion.
Creak!
The old man walked out, followed by two middle-aged men. One was burly and the other was lean. Both of them had recently become Magic Lords.
“What’s going on?”
“I heard a knocking sound,” the burly man said. His name was Taylor.
The old man, Reese, was confused. He turned toward the person next to him, Connor, the wizard with the lean physique.
“Connor, use your magic to see whether anyone is hiding in the sky,” Reese asked, his tone serious.
Hearing that, Connor’s eyes flickered. He immediately used his power to check the surroundings.
His Magic Rule power didn’t find anything abnormal; there was nothing hidden in the skies.
Connor raised his eyebrows. He lifted his hand and pointed toward the sky.
Boom!
The calm skies stirred all of a sudden. The clouds dispersed.
Boom!
A powerful hurricane swept across the area. The eight Supreme Wizards were awoken by the deafening noise and rushed out of their rooms.
When they saw the three Magic Lords and the changes in the sky, they were instantly alerted.
“You guys, descend to the ground. Check whether anyone is hiding,” Reese ordered.
Swoosh!
All eight Supreme Wizards left the deck and descended to the ground. Connor used his Magic Rule to further intensify the power.
Boom!
Another loud booming sound occurred as more hurricanes appeared.
If there had been any other wizards hidden in the sky, they would have been wiped out by now. Old man Reese protected the airship from being affected by the turbulence.
A few minutes later, he said, “Everything is fine. There is no one hidden in the skies.”
Swoosh!
He canceled the Magic Rule power, and the skies returned to normal in the blink of an eye.
“Something is not right. We all heard the knocking sound,” Taylor interjected.
“Let’s split up and check the surroundings. It could be a powerful artifact hindering our senses,” Reese said.
Connor was not convinced. If it were a Magic Artifact, his Rule power should have affected it.
Still, he decided to extend his magic power further and left the deck. Taylor decided to check as well, leaving a moment later.
Only old man Reese remained. He didn’t know what was going on, but he decided to stay vigilant.
The captain, now scared and feeling that something was wrong, slowed the airship down.
Reese went to speak with the captain, making the momentary mistake of leaving the cabin door unattended.
Swoosh!
The moment he left the door, I appeared outside. My expression was serious; these Magic Lords were more powerful than I had thought.
Creak!
I opened the door and slipped inside. My gaze immediately fell on the decorated boxes arranged in rows.
I quickly collected the items into the system space. After plundering the goods, I reached for the door.
[Ding! Warning! A Magic Lord is standing outside.]
The system issued the warning, and I instantly vanished into the Gregor Mansion.
Creak!
Old man Reese opened the door and walked inside. His gaze fell upon the empty room, and his face filled with disbelief and shock.
“What?” he uttered.
He lost his composure. Because of that, a Magic Lord-level Coercion exploded from his body.
The cabin room shattered the next second, damaging the airship. The cabins next to it were destroyed, and the remaining goods were thrown off by the force of the blast.
Outside,
The captain and the assistant fell to the deck. The airship swayed, descending rapidly toward the ground.
The Supreme Wizards below were taken aback; they didn’t know who had attacked the vessel.
Suspecting an invisible attacker, they rushed toward the airship to protect it.
In a flash, they caught the captain, the assistant, and a few workers, bringing them safely to the ground. Other wizards caught the airship in mid-air to prevent it from crashing.
The two Magic Lords who had been searching nearby returned immediately, their faces grim.
