Gravity Mage with Level-Up System - Chapter 1811: Came back after the plunder

Chapter 1811: Came back after the plunder
I left the vacant land and continued my return journey towards the border city.
A few hours later, I got closer to the border. I took my maroon car out of system space and started driving.
Swoosh!
The car hovered above the ground and started moving towards the border city. It was already morning by the time I reached there.
As usual, the border guards stopped me for verification. I showed my Silver Badge, and the guards allowed me to pass.
I drove through the border pass and entered the border town. I didn’t stop anywhere; I just continued driving.
…
Meanwhile, one hour earlier:
The Magic Lords stopped their fighting because they were running late for their destination.
Old man Reese was badly injured. Connor and Taylor hadn’t shown any mercy; they had beaten the old man down.
Taylor and Connor returned to their previous destination, but the scene before them shocked them.
There was no sign of the supreme wizards. All eight of them were gone. Only the ground was dyed red with blood.
Then they turned towards the airship. The airship was there, but there was no sign of the Captain, the Assistant, or the others.
They were gone. Taylor and Connor exchanged looks. They could tell the wizards had all been killed by someone. They were too late.
Swoosh!
Old man Reese arrived at the spot a second later. He saw the devastation as well. The ground was sunken, and the surface was covered in blood. His eyes flashed with a cold glint.
He said, “I told you before. There is someone else responsible for the loot. He killed the members as well.”
Hearing that, Taylor and Connor were silent. They didn’t know what to say; the answer was right before their eyes.
Taylor said, “Maybe the old man is right. Knowing the power of the wizard families, he wouldn’t dare to do it.”
Connor’s eyes flickered. He still didn’t believe it. Everything would be known once they returned to their city.
Tud!
He landed on the ground and scanned the airship. There were no goods left inside. Whoever the culprit was, he had looted the goods inside the other two cabins as well.
Taylor noticed the problem as well, and his expression turned ugly. They had lost the goods. All three of them were going to face the wrath of the owners.
“Let’s go. We should inform the owners. They will find out the truth,” Taylor said.
Connor agreed. Old man Reese sighed in relief. If the fight had continued, he would have kicked the bucket.
Swoosh! The three of them left the place.
…
That evening, the maroon car reached the transit city next to Crystal City. I landed the car in a quiet area.
I put the car away in the system space and phoned Hank. When Hank answered, I told him to come to the transit city.
I’m standing in an area near the residential district where there weren’t many people roaming around.
I looked around before finding a stone bench. I walked up to the bench and sat down.
I took a deep breath, recalling the event. The magic spell cast by one of the Magic Lords was still vivid in my mind.
His attack had changed the climate; he had used hurricanes and tornadoes to force me out.
But I had been hiding inside the Gregor Mansion. If I had hidden in my Raven Aircraft or car, I would have been exposed earlier.
One hour later:
Hank arrived in the car. Upon seeing me, he greeted me. I nodded to him before entering the car. Hank didn’t ask anything and started driving. The car left the transit city a few minutes later.
In the car, I used the system to check whether anyone was following us. The system didn’t find anyone. I sighed in relief. The Magic Lords might have been searching the surrounding area.
Hank was curious. He wanted to know whether Master Vincent had succeeded or not, but he was hesitant. He didn’t know his master’s mood. On the other hand, I saw through Hank’s thoughts.
“What do you want to ask?” I asked him.
Hank was taken aback. He didn’t expect the Master to see through his thoughts. He said, “Master, what about the goods?”
“I plundered them. It is going to be a huge loss to them,” I said to him.
Gasp!
Hank exclaimed in surprise. He realized that while the Master was saying it casually, it must have been incredibly dangerous.
I then started asking about the shop. “What happened during my absence?”
Hank regained his composure and said, “Master, Senior Otto found the informers of the Green Elemental Tower.
“People have bought some items from the shop and wanted to meet you, but you weren’t there. We told them you were busy dealing with another client.”
“Green Elemental Tower,” I raised my eyebrows in surprise. I had dealt a blow to the supporters of the Flame Elemental Tower.
Now that the Green Elemental Tower had shown up, they needed the same treatment.
Time passed.
It didn’t take long for us to reach Crystal City. Hank drove the car directly to the community.
In the blink of an eye, the car entered the community and arrived in front of the mansion. I touched the mask on my face.
Seeing that it was intact, I looked through the window. It was already nighttime, but there was a long queue outside.
The car touched the ground. We both walked out. I immediately felt the gazes of the customers standing in line.
I nodded to them before going inside the mansion. I saw old man Rock keeping an eye on everyone.
Patrick and Otto were in the gallery room. I walked in and saw more than ten people inside going over the collections.
I glanced at them before entering my office. I couldn’t wait to check the plundered goods.
The customers saw the shop owner, Frank. They wanted to have a chat, but unfortunately, they knew the owner didn’t like small talk.
