As time passed, customers started viewing the gallery room.

Not everyone was here to sell; most of them were here for the appraisal service. Because of this, I didn’t get any items for inspection.

Just as I thought that, I noticed an obese, middle-aged man having a verbal confrontation with Patrick and Otto.

I raised my eyebrows. I discovered that the middle-aged man was a Supreme Wizard. I continued to watch their conversation.

Then, I saw Patrick coming towards my room. He was carrying something with him. He walked into the room.

“Master, take a look at this item,” Patrick said.

After saying that, Patrick placed a stone on the table. The stone was black in color. Seeing it, my eyes gleamed with a twinkle. I used the system probe function to find out its identity.

[Ding! Black Iron Stone detected.]

[Ding! The Black Iron Stone is a product of the Iron Magic Mountain, which is rich with minerals.]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I nodded my head and looked at Patrick.

“It’s called a Black Iron Stone. It was mined from Magic Mountain. It’s used for artifact refining,” I said to Patrick. “Cross-check him. Find out how he got this item.”

Patrick nodded his head before picking up the black stone. Then, he exited through the door and met with the middle-aged man.

Patrick started asking questions. Unlike other customers, the middle-aged man knew about the stone. He had come here to double-check the item’s identity.

The obese middle-aged man was happy. He happily paid the appraisal fees before leaving the shop.

Seeing that, I nodded my head. The middle-aged man was not a fraud. Then, I picked up my digital device and started watching the online news.

Tulip City — The Enchanted Store

The Enchanted Store was run by the six wizard families. They all belong to the Flame Elemental Tower. The Enchanted Store, which sells magic products, was one of the biggest stores in Tulip City.

The Tulip Auction House was different; it conducts auctions, but the magic store is different. It does business every day, so there is a huge amount of logistics work behind it.

Right now, a meeting is taking place. The heads of the six wizard families had arrived. They were all Supreme Wizards.

Among the people present, the three Magic Lords were all here: Old Man Reese, Taylor, and Connor. All three of them had failed in their mission.

All the goods were lost, including eight Supreme Wizards and other workers. It was a huge loss to them.

The elders exclaimed in surprise. They had almost forgotten about the Silver Tower. They had a confrontation with the shop owner, Frank, some time ago. It could be retaliation from them.

One of them snorted and said, “Shop owner Frank is not an official member of the Silver Tower. It was not him.”

Hearing that, the others realized he was right. Shop owner Frank doesn’t have such authority.

Ted Benny nodded his head and said, “Shop owner Frank has only one Magic Lord. He is a body-type Magic Lord.”

“Elder Connor could kill that person with ease. So, someone else took action,” he added.

Everyone agreed with those words. Even the three Magic Lords thought it could be the work of someone else.

Connor’s eyes flashed with a glint. He had used a magic spell during that time. If the body-type Magic Lord had been present there, he would have been cut by the wind blades.

The discussion went on for a long time, but they failed to come up with a solution. They didn’t know who the attacker was.

They had even discussed it with the heads of the intel team, but they didn’t know who attacked either. They could only endure the loss for now.

Once they find out the truth, they will take action. The meeting came to an end. The Magic Lords weren’t punished; the families didn’t have the guts to punish them. For the wizard families, Magic Lords are valuable assets.

Old Man Reese sighed in relief. No one doubted him. He was worried they would frame him. He was not scared of the wizard families, but he was scared of the Flame Elemental Tower.

Knowing that the meeting’s outcome was good, he forgot about the matter. Connor and Taylor left the place as well. They knew the wizard families wouldn’t dare cause problems.

However, the families had Ancestors who were Magic Lords and were still alive. Not long ago, they had tried to attack shop owner Frank at the Crystal City.

Everyone knows the ancestors of these families are alive and kicking. No one has dared cause trouble since.

But both were still confused by the identity of the attacker. They still feared that someone from a Magic Tower had attacked.

Jason Nicholson, Susan Park, and Wilfred Cox were at the Silver Tower. They were here to get their missions. They had become official members, but they had not completed a mission yet.

They phoned Manager Lara. Manager Lara returned to the lobby. She saw them and learned their purpose.

Knowing they were here for a mission, she showed them the mission lists. She didn’t ask further questions.

Wilfred Cox wanted to do a mission in a super-large nation outside. He wanted to increase his family business as well.
