Even the other Flame Elemental members were shocked. They didn’t expect Magic Lord Scott to use such a method.

Magic Lord Scott disappeared from his spot. The next second, he appeared in front of me. He walked up to me with a smile on his face.

He said, “You don’t have anyone else to protect you now. It would be good if you show your storage bracelet. I will check it publicly.”

For a second, I thought it was Manager Lara, but it wasn’t her. I turned around and saw an old woman wearing gray clothes walking toward me.

“Who is she?”

“When did she appear?” I asked myself.

Magic Lord Scott was taken aback as well, but when he saw her face, he recognized her completely.

“Isabella, what are you doing here?” Scott asked.

He was shocked and surprised because the old woman was from the Silver Tower. She is a Magic Lord. He thought she had come to stop him.

“Isabella?” I thought.

I had never heard the name. I looked at the old woman, then my gaze fell on her badge. My pupils shrank the next second. She is from the Silver Tower, but I felt she had come here with bad intentions.

“Scott, it appears you need help,” Isabella said before her gaze fell on the shop owner, Frank. Her eyes revealed malicious intent.

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I wasn’t surprised, but I knew I was in more trouble. The neighborhood people were shocked; they didn’t expect someone else to appear now.

“Isabella, I hope you don’t interfere. Forbidden Wizard Callum told me to check everyone’s storage bracelet,” Scott said before turning toward me. “We suspect shop owner Frank has the banned item with him.”

“Oh? A banned item? That is a serious crime. You dared to accuse a person related to the Silver Tower like that?” Isabella said with a smile.

Hearing that, I knew she was up to something.

“Are you going against Forbidden Wizard Callum? This person is not officially part of your Silver Tower. He is just a relative of your manager,” Scott said to her.

Isabella’s eyes flickered. To be honest, she had been nearby. After learning about Crystal City, she had to come.

Crystal City was one of the cities under the Silver Tower; if business were disrupted here, it would affect the Silver Tower’s revenue.

She then looked toward shop owner Frank. The identity of an appraiser is valuable. What’s more, he is related to Manager Lara.

Manager Lara does not belong to any faction on the surface, but everyone knows she is close to the White Silver Faction.

Isabella made a decision. If the shop owner Frank truly carried a banned item, it would be good news for her Dark Faction within the Silver Tower. Moreover, it wouldn’t affect the Silver Tower directly.

“Okay, you can check him,” Isabella said all of a sudden.

Magic Lord Scott was surprised. He didn’t expect her to switch sides at the last moment.

My heart stirred. This old woman spoiled everything. Still, I decided to wait for Manager Lara. She was still close.

Isabella’s face changed drastically. She didn’t expect the shop owner to be so bold. He wasn’t giving up.
