The third little human’s job is to help them meet the advancement requirement of rank 8 of the pathway of telepathy. They are going to brainwash normal mortals and even godclads for this.
They couldn’t use their two legendary captives because they couldn’t let these two go to act in front of other people after their memories have been changed.
It would be great if they could brainwash legendary godclads and use them to meet the advancement requirements, but these two will not have that fate.
The fate of these two is to help them meet the advancement requirements of the pathway of slavery and the pathway of killing. By the time this is done, the two of them will be dead.

They happily took out the bloody heart and prepared to assimilate it. They crushed it into pulp to destroy the refinement arrangements that the church of justice had done to it to convert it into what they use for their blood network.
This turned the bloody heart into a piece of malleable flesh that they could now absorb and assimilate in order to become demigods. They couldn’t wait, so they tried touching the divine flesh to assimilate it.
However, just as they were about to assimilate it, they felt a sense of danger from the divine flesh. This was their Danger Sense divine ability warning them of danger.
The danger was faint and nearly nonexistent, but it was there. This made them pause their actions.
Legion-2 asked the others, “Where is the danger coming from? Could it be because this is not an ordinary divine flesh?”
Legion-4 said, “It should be because this divine flesh is related to the previous god of killing, or it could have something to do with it. But I don’t understand why that matters since the god of killing is dead.”
Legion-7 said, “It could also be because we got this divine flesh from the church of justice. If we were to absorb it, the god of justice might be able to sense us and attack us with a golden pillar of light falling down from the sky.”
Legion-10 shook his head and said, “It doesn’t matter why it is dangerous. What matters is that it is dangerous. We are not pressed for it anyway. We have other options. We don’t have to use this one to advance.”
The other clones agreed with what he said, so they put the divine flesh aside and went to the headquarters of the Mind Hunters to get the divine flesh that they needed.
They don’t like wasting time and resources, so it felt uncomfortable to discard a divine flesh that was right in front of them. But they still decided not to use it because they prioritized their safety.
They didn’t change their mind about it no matter how tempting the divine flesh made itself to be.
However, it became more difficult to resist because they couldn’t find the divine flesh that they needed in the headquarters of the Mind Hunters.
There was a lead, and someone said that they could help them get the rank 8 divine flesh of the pathway of slavery. But it would take time.
Legion decided not to waste time on that. They decided to advance to rank 8 as a slave master first. Then they would go to the spiritual dimension to find a legendary blood beast and kill it for its divine flesh.
The spiritual realm is the home of most divine beasts, and blood beasts are divine beasts of the pathway of killing. If they can find a blood beast, they can kill it and extract the divine flesh they need from it.
They can even get the rank 9 divine flesh from blood beasts in the spiritual dimension. Every pathway can use this method to get the divine flesh that is needed this way.
Actually, this was the method that was initially used to find divine flesh to assimilate. But the divine beasts that were hunted were in the physical dimension.
The divine beasts that used to live in the physical dimension have been hunted to near extinction now. This leaves only the divine beasts in the spiritual dimension as sources of divine flesh. That is, of course, aside from other godclads in one’s pathway.
If a godclad can’t buy the divine flesh they need, kill a senior godclad for the divine flesh, or kill a divine beast for the flesh, they will have to enter the spiritual dimension to find divine beasts to hunt.
