The rank 9 blood beasts remained at the fortress. They thought that Legion was too weak for them, so they didn’t bother with him. They were more interested in the rank 8 killer.
But the rank 7 and the rank 8 blood beasts didn’t have such concerns. They didn’t snub Legion after they decided to move. Once one of them made the decision to attack Legion, all of them moved and went together.
Fortunately, Legion had the rank 6 Danger Sense divine ability and the borrowed rank 1 Predict divine ability, so they were not caught off guard by the hundreds of blood beasts that came after them.
