GREED: ALL FOR WHAT? - Chapter 2480: Right Under The Nose.

Chapter 2480: Right Under The Nose.
The second option they have to defeat all the telepaths will conserve their spiritual energy and be completely safe. But it will be slow.
However, if one of Legion isn’t enough for the first option or they want to speed up the time it will take them to defeat their enemies through the second option, they could have their clones come to assist them in battle.
Just two more clones would be enough to help them overcome all of these people. And if that still isn’t enough, they can always get more clones to help them out.
Legion-10 was thinking about all of these things as they got closer and closer to the Mind Palace. In just a few moments, they would get close to the Mind Palace and take it away right from under the nose of all of these people.
Apparently, they hadn’t left the Mindscape. It had appeared so because they had used the Invisibility Shield divine ability. Instead of leaving or fighting, they chose to secretly take away the Mind Palace.
This was the option they had chosen to go with after doing some thinking. This option consumed a lot of spiritual energy, but it didn’t consume as much as what it would cost them if they attacked everyone.
This option wasn’t as energy efficient as the second option, but it was faster. In fact, this option is also faster than fighting everyone and defeating them.
And they didn’t need the other clones to pull this option off. So this option was the best of both worlds.
Legion reached the large cubic Mind Palace. Then they reached out to touch it.
This wouldn’t be the first time they tried to touch the Mind Palace. But unlike their first attempt, they were now in control of the Mind Palace, so they were able to touch it.
Their level of control over the Mind Palace was still weak. But it was enough to shrink the Mind Palace and absorb it into their body.
The cubic authority of the pathway entered their soul space after entering their body. Then it stood in the middle of the rank 7, rank 8, and rank 9 divine flesh that were standing above the three souls in the pathway.
Legion-10 nodded in satisfaction when he saw this. Then he said, “Once I fuse with over 50% of it, I will force it to give me a divine fragment.”
At over 50% fusion with the Gestalt Mind divine ability, the Mind Palace won’t be able to deny them their request for a divine fragment, and it won’t be able to leave them unless they die.
So once the fusion with the Mind Palace reaches 50% and their divine abilities reach a mastery of 100%, they will be able to upgrade their innate talent and become godlings.
After that, when the fusion rate reaches 100%, they will be able to become the god of the pathway. Now that the Mind Palace is in their possession, no one will be able to interfere with this process unless they kill every clone of Legion since they are also angels of slavery.
This situation gave Legion-10 confidence about their future. Then he looked around at everyone and sneered at them.
He didn’t bother with them after that. He removed the effect of the Invisibility Shield divine ability. Then he left to roam around the Mindscape in order to train the mastery of the divine abilities of the pathway of telepathy to 100%.
If he didn’t have to train and if he didn’t have to conserve the consumption of spiritual energy so that the other clones would be able to have enough spiritual energy for what they were doing, he would have fought with these people and killed them.
Fighting with his divine abilities would have been the best way to train his divine abilities before he became a legendary godclad. But after he became a legendary godclad, the best way to train was to activate the divine form and remain in it.
So for now, these people’s lives will be spared. But they weren’t grateful that they were alive after they noticed that the Mind Palace was gone.
Instead of sighing in relief and thanking whatever god they worshipped, they were shocked that the Mind Palace was gone. Then they became agitated and afraid.
They didn’t know what to do, so they asked the first angel. “What do we do now?”
Normally, these people wouldn’t dare appear near the first angel for fear of being brainwashed. But they overcome the fear for their lives to deal with a common and great adversary.
They had even become so reliant on the first angel that they looked to him for direction. This was partly because he was the strongest one here and because he had sworn that he wouldn’t do anything to them or try to take control of the Mind Palace for 500 years if they somehow regained access to it.
Unfortunately, their willingness to cooperate wasn’t enough to stop Legion. And their greatest reliance is also stumped about what to do about the situation they were in.
The first angel sighed and said, “So it still happened. I was prepared for it, yet it still happened.”
In the battle for the control of the Mind Palace, Legion had used the same trick to hide from them many times. So he had become aware of their ability to hide themselves and had even prepared a way to deal with it, yet it didn’t work.
What he prepared was to receive a blessing from the god of seers. This blessing was similar to the golden decree that the angel of justice had used to burn everyone who killed a judge or a lamp bearer during the war.
The effect of this blessing was concentrated on his eyes. It was supposed to help him see through all falsehoods and illusions. Yet it hadn’t worked.
Now he can remember that he was completely aware when Legion was taking the Mind Palace right from under his nose.
