Chapter 2659: Infinite Space And Infinite Timelines.

When they were high gods with full control of an Aspect, they could only sense the forward and backward flow of time. When they became Supreme gods, they could fuse will with all existence in the present across all of space.

After they became limitless, they became capable of fusing with all of reality across time and space. But they were limited to fusing with reality in one timeline.

That has changed now that they have become Absolutes. As Absolutes, they can sense multiple timelines adjacent to their own, and they can leave their timeline to experiment with other timelines.

From what they can sense, those alternate timelines were created with each thought and action of theirs. When they thought to do something, the version of themselves that did the opposite led to the creation of another timeline.

So every timeline contains a version of itself that made different decisions from the decisions they made that led them to this moment. Some of those alternate versions are weak, while some of them are very strong.

This made UNITY say, “I guess we have become eighth-dimensional beings now.”

Normal mortals are 3 dimensional beings. Those with Supreme Laws are the apex of four-dimensional beings who can perceive and change the world on the level of information. In a way, transcendent beings are also four-dimensional beings because they can perceive the underlying information and rules of the world.

Beyond the Supreme gods are world gods who can breach the boundary of spatial dimensions, utilize Cosmic energy, and exist in different kinds of universes with different rules.

World gods are fifth-dimensional beings who are not bound by one universe and can exist outside a universe. And just like universes, they can grow to a level that they can birth Supreme beings.

A step above, world gods are limitless. These are sixth-dimensional beings unbound by space and time. Next is the Supreme, who has total control over a timeline. Finally, there is an Absolute.

At the top of everyone is the origin, which is the source of every time and space in the infinite Multiverse. The origin might not even stop there at the ninth dimension and might be higher than that.

Some timelines are ending every moment, while more are being created every moment. It can be said that there is an infinite number of alternate timelines. What’s most frightening is that all of these timelines are connected to the same origin.

So the origin is a very powerful object or even a very powerful being that contains the boundary of a sixth-dimensional reality. What’s even more impressive is that they can sense more of reality outside these infinite timelines of one Multiverse.

They can sense other Multiverses and other origins out there. So there is more to the single timeline that they have been trapped in for most of their lives.

The Absolutes that came before them have used up all of their potential in this timeline, so they went into other timelines to help the alternate versions of themselves advance to the Absolute state of existence. Then they fuse with those alternate versions.

The fusion of their alternate versions instantly increases their power. So these Absolutes aren’t content with becoming an Absolute in one timeline. They want to become Absolutes along every timeline. This way, the origin will have to be destroyed completely before they can be killed.

As for beings like ANNIHILATION, they are even greedier. They come from outside the infinite timeline of this Multiverse. So they came from another origin to devour the potential of this origin. This is why Legion thought that he wasn’t an Absolute of his origin.

In a way, ANNIHILATION came to steal the power of this origin. This is why the Absolutes of this origin helped the Supreme to capture and seal him. Then the Supreme tried to use ANNIHILATION to become an Absolute himself. Unfortunately, the Supreme failed because he courted death.

As the Supreme of this timeline, he could sense other timelines. Unfortunately for him, he was just a limitless being, so he couldn’t leave this timeline and survive in other timelines.

Even if he could leave this timeline, the fact remained that he wasn’t the Supreme in every timeline. There were other Supremes in other timelines, so he would lose most of his strength if he went to other timelines. This will make him a lamb on the chopping block to other Supremes.

This sealed his fate from being able to leave the timeline. He should have given up now, but he was hell-bent on using the infinite potential of his infinite alternate selves in the adjacent timelines to improve himself until he became an Absolute.

In other words, he was trying to do the same thing that Absolutes were doing. He was coveting the privilege of an Absolute to utilize the potential of another timeline to increase their power.

The 11 Absolutes knew what he was doing, but ignored him. They won’t actively try to stop anyone from becoming an Absolute. Only the jealous Supreme will try to stop others from becoming Absolutes.

So the Supreme didn’t give up. He began researching ways to steal the power of others. The world of Tenubrum is one of the experiments of his research in stripping others of their power and using it himself.

But this level of research was limited to world gods and supreme beings. It was far from what he needed.

When his research bore some fruit, he advanced to experimenting with stealing the power of an Absolute. That’s what the void universe was for.

When this research bore some more fruit, he began experimenting with pulling other versions of himself from other timelines into his timeline and cutting them up into parts that he assimilated.

Because the other versions of himself had the same soul, there was very little rejection in the fusion of their parts with himself. Even if there were some rejection, he could always overcome it thanks to his manipulation of the Aspect of Madness.
