Harem System In A fantasy World - Chapter 174: Two days (bonus - )

Chapter 174: Two days (bonus Chapter)
Elion and Mira walked side by side through the academy halls.
They did not have a destination in mind, so they simply walked. The tension from earlier had faded, leaving behind a calm silence between them.
By the time they reached the dorm area, hurried footsteps echoed down the corridor, approaching them from ahead.
Aria appeared, slightly out of breath.
Her cheeks were flushed, and her eyes were wide with concern.
“Elion!” she called out.
She slowed to a stop, bent slightly, hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath, her cleavage deepening with the motion.
“I heard what happened,” she said quickly. “Are you alright?”
Mira nodded reassuringly.
“It’s been handled,” she said.
Elion gave Aria a calm look.
“Everything’s fine.”
After a brief explanation of what had actually taken place, Aria’s shoulders relaxed. The concern in her eyes slowly faded, replaced by relief.
“I’m glad,” she said softly.
Then her expression hardened.
“That bastard,” she muttered. “William really tried something that dirty?”
She clenched her fists.
“I’ll beat him up myself.”
Mira burst into laughter.
“I’d like to see that.”
Elion chuckled as well.
“I appreciate the support.”
Aria crossed her arms, still frowning.
“He went too far this time.”
After a moment, the mood lightened again.
Elion looked at both of them.
“Do you two want to train with me?” he asked.
Their eyes lit up immediately.
“Of course,” Mira replied.
Aria nodded eagerly.
The two girls had made a lot of progress lately. While most students struggled to move even a single level in weeks, Aria had already jumped from level twenty-two to twenty-four.
Mira had gone from twenty-four to twenty-five, now standing on equal ground with someone like William.
That kind of growth was not normal. By now, they must have realized something unusual was happening.
Elion glanced at them thoughtfully.
’I might have to explain things soon,’ he thought.
They were already bound to him through the harem seal. He had no real reason to hide the truth forever.
The system, the growth, the advantage it gave him. He also head to tell them about the harem seal’s death penalty, and he couldn’t do that without explaining the gist of things.
But not yet.
For now, they would train.
Would they see him differently once they knew?
Maybe.
Probably not.
Elion walked between Mira and Aria, his hands loosely in his pockets as they made their way toward the training grounds.
His thoughts lingered on the question longer than he expected. Would they feel used? Would they think he had approached them only because of the system?
He frowned slightly.
That was how it started.
But that was not how he defined their relationship now.
His connection with Mira had grown from ambition and attraction, yes, but it had transitioned to genuine understanding.
Aria had been stubborn, fiery, and loyal from the start. While they had all been brought together by lust, they were slowly growing closer every day.
Still…
The truth was strange.
“I grow stronger through intimacy with women.”
It sounded absurd. It sounded shallow. But that was only one side of it.
The other side was trust. Bonds. Shared growth. The fact that they had grown stronger too.
He glanced at Mira.
She was smiling softly, already talking about what spell she wanted to refine next.
He looked at Aria.
She was determined, muttering about wanting to surpass level twenty-five before the legacy world opens, so that she might have a shot at entering the legacy world with the rest of them.
Would they really look at him like some monster once they knew?
He doubted it.
But doubt still lingered.
He exhaled slowly.
’I’ll tell them soon,’ he thought. Not because he was afraid. But because secrets left to rot too long had a way of turning ugly.
For now, though, he pushed the thought aside.
They had training to do.
…
“Hmmm. So something like that happened.”
Liora stood straight as she finished explaining the entire situation to Evander. They were inside the office, the air calm but heavy as always. The room felt smaller whenever he was in it.
Evander was not sitting in his usual chair.
He was standing near the tall window, holding a cup of tea in one hand. Steam rose slowly from it as he took a quiet sip; his expression was unreadable. Even standing casually like that, he gave off an oppressive presence.
“You should have brought Elion with you,” Evander said calmly. “I wanted to know how he would like to proceed.”
Liora frowned slightly.
“He just went his own way after the matter was settled,” she replied. “He didn’t even throw a fit.”
She hesitated for a moment.
“But I told you. He threatened to kill William.”
Evander let out a low chuckle.
The sound rumbled in the room.
“I would do the same,” he said plainly. “It’s obvious the Dawncrest boy is becoming a thorn in his back.”
Liora crossed her arms. “You’re not concerned?”
“I am,” Evander answered simply.
He walked slowly back toward his desk, setting the teacup down carefully.
“Their enmity is starting to affect other people. Framing, public accusations, humiliation… it will escalate.”
He tapped his fingers lightly on the wooden surface.
“Two talented students clashing is one thing. But when others get dragged into it, it becomes a problem.”
Liora nodded slowly.
William had gone too far this time.
“And Elion?” she asked.
Evander’s eyes narrowed slightly.
“He’s obviously dangerous, from what you told me. He handled the situation calmly from beginning to end, save for his last threat.”
“Yes,” Liora nodded, “He did not panic. He did not lose control. He dismantled the accusation calmly.”
Evander’s lips curved faintly.
“That kind of composure is not common at his age.”
Liora thought back to the scene. The smile. The killing intent that had made William stumble. The way Elion had already pieced everything together within seconds.
“What do we do?” she asked quietly.
Evander leaned back slightly, folding his arms.
“For now,” he said, “we observe.”
His gaze turned sharp.
“If William continues, he will bury himself, even with the protection of his family; they can’t protect him at all times.”
“And Elion?” Liora pressed.
Evander’s eyes flickered with interest.
“It has become clear that if he is pushed too far,” he said slowly, “he will push back much harder.”
Silence filled the office.
“What to do…” Evander murmured softly to himself.
He stood silently for a few moments, his fingers lightly tapping against the wooden desk.
Then he stopped.
“We will call everyone in two days,” he said calmly. “All parties involved.”
Liora straightened slightly.
“Including Elion?” she asked.
Evander nodded once.
“Yes. Make sure he comes as well.”
He walked back toward the window, looking out over the academy grounds below.
“There is only a little over a week left before the tournament begins,” he continued. “This matter must be settled before then.”
His voice was steady.
“I don’t want unnecessary distractions while the academy is preparing.”
Liora understood what he meant.
The legacy world selection was approaching. The senior students were already busy making preparations. Tensions were high across the academy.
“And the others?” she asked.
“Those who can make it will attend,” Evander replied. “The rest are preparing for the legacy world. It does not require everyone.”
He paused for a second.
“This situation is already messy. If we let it drag on, it will only get worse.”
Liora nodded.
“Understood.”
Evander picked up his cup of tea again and took a slow sip.
“Two days,” he repeated calmly. “Inform them.”
Liora gave one final nod before turning to leave.
