Harem System In A fantasy World - Chapter 193: Some Advice

Chapter 193: Some Advice
Back at the academy, a shocking scene was unfolding.
Kaia, Ymir, and Ceryn had been unlucky enough to run into Aria while they were trying to avoid everyone’s attention.
Unfortunately, that was nearly impossible. Ever since the incident, people kept approaching them with questions.
But none of them could bring themselves to speak about what had happened. So they chose the next best option.
Silence.
If they said nothing, people would eventually lose interest… right? At least that was what they had hoped.
Instead, it only made things worse.
Everyone was speculating, whispering, forming their own conclusions. The three girls had been trying desperately to keep their heads down, afraid of attracting the anger of either Elion or William with their words.
And now it had backfired spectacularly.
At the moment, the three of them stood in the middle of the cafeteria, clutching their burning cheeks in shock.
The entire cafeteria had fallen into complete silence.
Why?
Because the moment Aria saw their shameless faces, she exploded.
Three sharp cracks had echoed through the room in rapid succession.
Three slaps, delivered so quickly that most people barely had time to react.
Now every student in the cafeteria had frozen, staring at Aria like she had completely lost her mind.
’What is happening?’ They wondered.
Aria stepped forward, her eyes blazing.
“So you three collude to frame someone,” she said coldly, her voice cutting through the silence.
“And when the truth comes out, you still don’t correct the story.”
Her gaze hardened further.
“You think keeping quiet and pretending to be victims will give you the moral high ground?”
She practically hissed those last words.
Murmurs immediately began spreading across the room.
“Wait… what?”
“They framed Elion?”
“Seriously?”
Shock spread through the crowd as people turned to look at the three girls.
The stunned expressions on Kaia, Ymir, and Ceryn slowly faded.
In their place came humiliation… and guilt.
None of them even had the strength to feel angry at Aria.
What right did they have?
“We’re… sorry…” Kaia finally choked out.
Tears filled her eyes as the words left her mouth.
What else could she say?
She had never wanted any of this to happen.
But Aria wasn’t having it.
“Don’t bullshit me!” she snapped.
“You think saying sorry fixes anything?”
Aria was just about to deliver another flurry of slaps.
Her hand was already mid-swing when another hand suddenly caught her wrist.
It was Mira.
She had been standing among the crowd the whole time, quietly watching everything unfold with an amused smile.
At first, she had decided to let Aria handle the situation herself, but now it had clearly gone far enough.
Obviously, it wasn’t out of the kindness of her heart; rather, she was thinking about how this would reflect on Elion.
“That’s enough, Aria,” Mira said calmly. “You’ve done more than enough already.”
Aria turned to her, still fuming.
“But—”
“Calm down,” Mira interrupted gently. “You’re making a scene.”
She leaned closer and lowered her voice so only Aria could hear. “I feel the same way you do,” she whispered. “But Elion wouldn’t like seeing you like this.”
Aria paused.
Her anger didn’t disappear, but those words were enough to make her hesitate. “Fine,” she huffed.
She shot one last glare at the three trembling girls before turning away.
Mira followed beside her as they walked out of the cafeteria.
People stepped aside to let them pass, many still staring at Aria with strange looks after what had just happened.
Behind them, the cafeteria slowly came back to life as the stunned silence finally broke into loud murmurs.
…
Once they were alone in the corridors, Mira spoke first.
“You shouldn’t have done that.”
“Hmph. What do you know, Mira?” Aria replied irritably.
“I understand how you feel,” Mira said calmly. “Honestly, I might have reacted the same way… if I were as impulsive as you.”
Aria shot her a glare, but she didn’t argue further.
The two of them continued walking down the corridor in silence for a while.
“Seeing them acting like that just pissed me off so much,” Aria muttered after a moment.
Mira smiled faintly.
“Me too.”
She stepped a little closer to Aria as they walked, their shoulders brushing lightly. Then she suddenly laughed.
“What?” Aria asked, turning to look at her sister-wife.
“Nothing,” Mira said, still smiling. “I just remembered that time you said you wanted to have Elion’s first child.”
Aria’s face turned bright red.
“Why is that funny to you?” she demanded.
“No,” Mira said, shaking her head. “It’s not funny. I actually respect you for it.”
Aria blinked.
“You know what you want,” Mira continued. “And you’re not afraid to say it out loud. That’s a good quality to have.”
She glanced at Aria with a teasing smile.
“Just try to think a little before acting next time.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Aria asked suspiciously.
“Don’t mind me,” Mira said lightly. “I’m just talking nonsense.”
Just then—
Bump.
“Oh—sorry!” Mira said quickly.
“No, I’m sorry. That was my fault,” the other person replied.
Mira looked up to see who she had bumped into.
It was Isolde.
“Oh, Isolde,” Mira said with a friendly smile. “How are you doing?”
For some reason, Isolde suddenly blushed deeply the moment she saw them.
Her eyes began darting around nervously, as if she had been caught doing something wrong.
Mira tilted her head in confusion.
“Is something wrong?” she asked, but Isolde didn’t answer; her blush deepened.
Sensing that something interesting was going on, Mira gave Aria a quick look. A scheming grin spread across her face.
Aria immediately understood.
Mira grabbed Isolde’s hand.
“Come with us,” she said cheerfully.
Before Isolde could protest, Mira had already started pulling her down the corridor. Aria followed behind them quietly, already curious about what was going on.
Isolde looked completely confused as she was dragged along.
By the time they reached Aria’s room, she still hadn’t figured out what was happening.
Mira pushed the door open, pulled Isolde inside, and Aria quickly followed. The door shut behind them with a click as it was locked.
The room looked exactly as it always did.
Pink.
Everything was pink.
Pink curtains, pink bedding, pink decorations scattered around the room.
Mira led Isolde to the bed and sat down beside her, still holding her hand so she couldn’t escape.
Aria walked over to her study table, grabbed a chair, and dragged it across the floor. She placed it right in front of the bed before sitting down across from them, leaning forward with interest.
Mira crossed her legs and looked at Isolde with a playful smirk.
“So,” she began.
“I have a feeling you have something to tell us, Isolde.”
Her grin widened mischievously.
“Come on.”
“Tell us everything.”
“From the beginning.”
“N-nothing happened,” Isolde stammered.
Mira leaned forward slightly, her smile turning more playful.
“Is it about Elion?” she asked.
The effect was immediate.
Isolde’s face turned even redder.
“H-how did you…?” she blurted out, looking up sharply.
Mira was watching her with a knowing smile.
’She’s so adorable,’ Mira thought to herself. She could see why Elion would take a fancy to her.
“He tends to have that effect on people,” she said casually.
Then she leaned a little closer.
“Now tell us. What happened?” she asked. “What did he do to you?”
Beside her, Aria nodded in agreement.
But unlike Mira, Aria was staring at Isolde with a sharp glare, as if the girl had personally offended her.
Mira might be amused by the situation, but Aria had never been comfortable with the idea of more competition for Elion.
That feeling wasn’t going away anytime soon.
Isolde lowered her gaze and began nervously playing with her fingers. She tried several times to speak, but the words kept getting stuck in her throat.
“He… he…”
Her face turned completely red.
Then suddenly she squealed.
“He kissed me!” she blurted out, squeezing her eyes shut in embarrassment.
“Hehe,” Mira chuckled softly. “What lovely news.”
She leaned forward with interest.
“And then what did he do?”
The Elion she knew would never stop at just a kiss. If he had already made a move, then surely there had to be more to the story.
Isolde stared down at the floor, squirming nervously on the bed.
“Uh… and then… I ran away from him.”
Mira stared at her for several seconds. Completely dumbfounded.
Then suddenly—
She burst out laughing.
She laughed so hard that tears formed in the corners of her eyes. It took her a moment to calm down as she wiped her face.
“So,” Mira said between small chuckles, “you actually managed to escape from his clutches, huh?”
Her smile turned teasing.
“Not for long, I bet.”
She then turned to look at Aria, who had been sitting the entire time quietly.
“You don’t look very happy,” Mira teased.
“Hmph.”
Aria folded her arms and looked away.
“Of course I’m not,” she said bluntly. “Why would I be happy about having more unwanted competition?”
She laughed, “Don’t mind her. In any case…” She turned back to Isolde. “Let me give you a piece of advice, Isolde,” Mira said gently.
“Don’t hesitate, or you will be left behind.”
Isolde looked up at her.
“You know how amazing Elion is,” Mira continued. “He is going to have many women around him sooner or later. There will be plenty of competition, so if you want a place by his side, you should take it before it’s too late.”
She smiled softly.
“And use that innocent charm of yours. He likes it.”
Isolde blushed deeply, but she nodded.
The truth was that she really didn’t know what to do. She liked Elion; she was certain of that now, but this was completely new territory for her.
She didn’t know how to behave around him anymore, and that uncertainty scared her.
“Don’t stress too much,” Mira said, gently taking Isolde’s hand. “He will guide you through it. Just don’t push him away if he makes any moves on you. Try to respond honestly to how you feel.”
Isolde’s face turned even redder.
“H-how are you so good at this, Mira?” she asked quietly, looking at her with admiration.
“Me?” Mira paused to think for a moment.
“A bit of experience,” she said with a small smile.
She then reached over and lightly took Aria’s hand as well.
“Aria here was also completely inexperienced when it came to pleasing Elion,” Mira added playfully. “But with a little effort, I helped her and taught her a few things.”
Aria blushed lightly at that.
Mira turned back to Isolde with a teasing smile.
“So,” she asked, “do you want some advice too?”
