- Chapter 263 - 263: You Are...!

Kyle was done with the first part of his plan, he was moving quickly because, with his association with the Mafia, he needed a place where there was good security.
Even though he knew this wouldn’t stop them, it would have some layer of security as living in Jones’ apartment would be like throwing yourself in an ocean filled with sharks with a bleeding wound.
Kyle was satisfied with this purchase, but it would have been nice if he had got a rebate; all they had to do was send someone slightly more attractive.
It was a pain, but it was one Kyle knew he had to deal with because he couldn’t be attracted to everyone in the end.
This would maintain the balance, and Kyle was well aware that he had to focus on raising his money right now.
This would be easy because Kye had rounded up everything he wanted to do at the moment, because he was entering phase 2.
He had laid down all the foundations, and this was why Nakamura was his next target.
Nakamura might be a deceptive man, but there was no doubt he shared a similar vision with Kyle.
He had his foot in this game longer than Kyle, and just being associated with his name should prove to be advantageous.
Kyle was glad he had this going on for him and knew Nakamura was aware of his growing influence.
Kyle was impressed that he could reach where he was with the limited resources he had.
This was a testament to his power, but something told Kyle he wasn’t the only one the Mafia had reached out to regarding their offer.
He parked at a 7-Star Hotel called Intercontinental, which was among the top hotels in LA.
Kyle had another meeting with Nakamura. he couldn’t believe how accessible Nakamura had become, but it showed how business oriented he was because a normal man would have allowed pride to come in the way.
Nakamura might be older than him with vast differences in experience, yet he was humble enough to know when to allow someone else to take the helm.
This must be why he was still relevant, but it also granted Kyle a glimpse of how sneaky he truly was, as he wouldn’t hesitate to sacrifice Kyle should he get in the way.
Kyle met him, and Nakamura was already there, but this time, Yuki was present as well.
“Hello, Mr. Nakamura, I’m glad you could meet me at such short notice,” Kyle began, and Nakamura smiled at him.
“Nonsense, I’m glad we have this relationship,” Nakamura quickly dismissed Kyle’s gratitude.
Yuki looked on and wondered what Kyle had done to her boss because this was the first time she had seen him like this.
Kyle was a man whom she didn’t think much of in the beginning, but right from the start, Kyle was full of surprises.
Kyle sat across from him and gave Yuki a polite nod to acknowledge her existence.
“Why did you want to meet me?” Nakamura questioned, Kyle didn’t need to order anything as drinks were already on the table waiting for him to hydrate himself.
This was some of the finest drinks known to man, refined to its purest form, but that came at an insane price tag.
Kyle knew he didn’t need to bother with small talks because there was no need to kiss this man’s ass anymore.
“At least let me wet my tongue,” Kyle said, taking a sip of the drink before him, and it was just as he expected, it was of the highest grade.
“Now, as to why I’m here. Tell me, what do you know about the Mafia?” Kyle requested.
Nakamura’s facial expression didn’t change, nor did Yuki’s; this wasn’t a strange name for them, otherwise there would have been more of a reaction.
“The Godfather? Loved it,” Nakamura responded, but Kyle knew he was messing around.
He knew a lot more than he was letting on, but his facial expression didn’t match his words.
He gestured for him to lower his voice, and this prompted Kyle to look around to see if anyone was eavesdropping.
“I see,” Kyle thought to himself. This confirmed what he thought: this man had made contact with them.
“We’re in the clear, sir,” Yuki informed Nakamura after checking something strange with her phone.
“The Mafia, it looks like they have made contact with you,” Nakamura said, but this conversation didn’t frighten him as much as the one about Cleopatra.
Kyle took note of this but surely, there was no way Cleopatra was scarier than the freaking Mafia.
“That is correct, and I want to know, how did you deal with them when they came to you?” Kyle asked, but Nakamura looked surprised that he had connected the dots so quickly.
“They didn’t interest me. They had nothing I needed,” Nakamura said, but Kyle was waiting for the part where they tried to kill or torture him for refusing them.
“And they just let you go?” Kyle questioned, and Nakamura chuckled at this.
“When I came to America, it was to see the land of opportunities for myself. All so great, America and what they had to offer,” Nakamura began the conversation.
“But it was never my intention to come here. I personally never liked America if I’m being honest, but I was told to come here by my father,” Nakamura added, taking a sip from his drink.
“And I must say, it grew on me. They are far more vulgar than my people, but what can I say?” Nakamura said with a satisfied smile, but Kyle was picking up on something here.
This man’s demeanour had changed, and what did he mean by his father sending him here?
Kyle looked at how composed Yuki looked, they were talking about one of the most powerful underworld organisations, like they were a band.
“The Mafia are strong, but there is something that tells me they wouldn’t want war with the Yakuza, would they?” Nakamura looked Kyle right in the eyes, but there was something different about the look in his eyes.
“W-What bloodlust?!” Kyle thought to himself as a cold bead of sweat trickled down his forehead.
This man was associated with the Yakuza!
