- Chapter 266 - 266: Court Case PT.2

Kyle stayed with Cassandra, and the first thing she did was make sure he was well fed. She went to the kitchen despite clearly still being drowsy from just waking up.
These were the little things that showed a woman cared for a man because she wanted to nurture him.
Kyle smiled to himself. This place felt more like a family than when he was with the other women in his life, making Kyle feel safe.
He knew this was the point of polygamy in the end, it would allow his various needs to be met by different people, so the burden isn’t on a single person.
Some people had needs that could be satisfied by a single partner, some didn’t, and it wasn’t gender restricted.
The key was finding people who would accept such a lifestyle without deception.
Transparency was all it was about, and Kyle was doing just fine being honest with the women in his life.
He told them what they needed to know without going into details that could potentially uproot the security they felt with him.
It was for their good, and they could always just ask if they truly wanted to know, but sometimes ignorance was bliss.
They didn’t push for the truth because they would much rather live in the lie.
Kyle didn’t care about the other women except Jane, but Cassandra was growing on him.
She was proving to be more than just an arrangement, but acted as his own personal therapist in a sense.
The aroma of the food entered his nose, and his stomach rumbled like a titan had just walked through.
“What smells so good?” Kyle said out loud while heading to the kitchen.
Cassandra appreciated the compliment, but she wasn’t flushed by it because this wasn’t news to her.
She was the ideal housewife, but with no man to provide a source of income, she had to start venturing into the world.
However, without that, she wouldn’t have found Kyle, so it wasn’t all bad because, unlike most women in today’s day and age.
She didn’t have any problem doing this because it would allow her to raise her child.
“It must be the food I’m making,” Cassandra responded, all giddy as she finally got to spend time with Kyle.
“Or it could be you,” Kyle whispered in her ear, drawing her in with her butt pressed against his crotch.
“Not now, let me finish cooking!” Cassandra said, but Kyle already planted kisses on her neck, prompting her to bite her lower lip in anticipation.
She felt his bulge push against her plump buttocks, and all she could think about was the last time that big thing was between her legs.
How it made her feel, how it made her moan, but she could resist him because her food was something she didn’t play with.
She managed to thrust her buttocks backwards with force, sending him stumbling a few inches back.
“I said not now. Besides, I need you well fed or you wouldn’t have the strength to go all the way,” Cassandra teased, and Kyle just stared at her body.
She was so soft all around, and he stared at her buttocks with the clothes it was in.
She hadn’t changed out of the clothes she had worn to see Dexter, but Kyle was oblivious to this.
The lack of physical contact made it impossible for Dexter’s scent to stick to her, so Kyle didn’t know, and it didn’t come to Cassandra to inform either, or it would be more accurate to say she had forgotten.
But Kyle couldn’t resist seeing her in that crop top; the way her flesh was exposed sent blood rushing down the appendage between his legs.
Who could blame him? It wasn’t like he was starving as he had sex with Jane earlier that day, but it didn’t scratch the itch Calista could so well.
This was what sexual satisfaction looked like, but Kyle knew he had to ease Jane through it, considering she was a virgin until recently.
This meant he could not rush or shape her into the woman he wanted sexually, at least not yet.
And with Calista present, he might not have to, as there would be times he would want the kind of sexual intimacy Jane provided, as with all the other women in his life.
Kyle watched her stir the food, and the genuine smile on her face made him feel unsure about how he felt about her.
This was becoming serious, it was no longer no strings attached, but this was normal in all relationships when you have your needs met.
“How’re you feeling about tomorrow?” Kyle asked her, and Cassandra instantly stopped stirring the moment Kyle asked this question, but continued shortly after.
“I’m calm, which is a surprise but I don’t know why but I should be freaking out,” Cassandra responded and Kyle could tell this was the truth.
“It is because you know you will win,” Kyle responded, and he could see the smile creep up on her face from the reflection of the window in front of them.
Kyle loved that he could make a difference in her life; he was leaving his imprint on their lives.
A part of him knew this was the only way to leave a piece of himself after he was gone.
He didn’t just want to fade away into nothingness when he died because he had the opportunity to leave his permanent imprint on the world and the people in it.
“Don’t jinx,” Cassandra responded, but judging by her tone, there was no doubt she believed the words that came out of his mouth.
Both chuckled because this was a welcome shift in confidence compared to the first trial, where her ex-husband had the upper hand despite the preparations prior.
It was amazing how much could change with the right lawyer. Not just any lawyer but one with questionable morals.
If Kyle used the other lady, they would have lost, there was no doubt about that.
