Harem System: Spending Money On Women For 100% Rebate! - Chapter 309 - 309: Girl Talk.

Ella grinned at her phone as Calista spilt the beans and clarified the situation, because Calista knew Ella had a direct link to Kyle.
Maybe if she explained things to her, she would relay it to Kyle—or at least, this was something she hoped for, as she had no idea what was waiting for her on the other side.
Ella got the news that it was all a big misunderstanding and couldn’t help but chuckle at the situation, despite it spiralling into the mess it did.
What were the chances of all of this happening? Ella had no idea how Kyle would feel, but she knew it wouldn’t be something he took lightly.
“Fuck! Why do I keep thinking about him!?” Ella barked at her phone before putting it down.
She hadn’t spent the night at his place, but decided she needed to go back soon because most of her clothes were there.
Ella hoped Kyle wasn’t there, but she did find it strange he didn’t reach out to her despite the dangers he spoke about.
She expected him to keep tabs on her or at least share her location.
She understood she had no reason to demand this and would have declined, but finding out he didn’t bother hurt her ego. It gave her a much-needed reality check.
However, what if something happened to Kyle that made him unable to reach out? Calista said she hadn’t spoken to him lately, either.
Ella couldn’t hold out and needed to know how he was doing. She broke character and instantly sent him a text message.
She stared at it for a second, almost like she expected him to respond right away.
There was no reply, but her phone soon rang—it was a call from Jane, and Ella had no idea how to react.
She felt guilty for some reason and contemplated until the phone stopped ringing.
Ella sighed, wondering what had come over her, and quickly called Jane back.
Jane picked up right away and resolved herself to let her know what happened with Ella.
[[ELLAAAA!]] Jane was excited as usual, and Ella’s face creased into a smile.
“Someone woke up on the right side of the bed today,” Ella responded.
[[I always wake up on the right side of the bed when you aren’t sleeping beside me,]] Jane fired back. This made Ella chuckle uncontrollably, but that laugh soon subsided the moment she remembered what she had to tell Jane.
“Hey Jane, I need to tell you something…” Ella began before pausing for a moment.
Jane waited for her to say what she wanted to say, but Ella’s throat became heavy.
[[Is this about Kyle?]] Jane questioned, but there was no way Kyle would tell her the full story.
He must have twisted it to suit him—or at least, this was what she thought, even though Kyle had no reason to.
“Wait, what did Kyle tell you?” Ella had to be sure it was what she thought it was.
[[He told me everything, Ella, and I’m fine with it,]] Jane reassured her friend.
She already had a taste of the life he had planned out for them, and Jane didn’t hate it.
She liked Cassandra, and if anything, adding Ella would be to her advantage because it would mean they would grow together.
This way, Ella wouldn’t be taken by another man, and they wouldn’t inevitably drift apart, as Ella’s focus would be on her family.
“You mean he told you about… that?” Ella found herself flustered. Why would Kyle tell her something so intimate rather than allowing her to do so?
But this debunked everything she assumed about Kyle, because this meant he was truly transparent with Jane.
[[Y-Yes…]] Jane couldn’t say it with a straight face, as she was aware of how all of this looked.
“Damn that man! He just says anything that comes out of his mouth!” Ella blurted out, but the sense of relief that came afterwards couldn’t be described.
The burden she felt was no more, and she wondered if it was too soon to gossip about Kyle.
“He is such a strange man,” Ella snuck in a comment.
[[I know, right? But that is what makes him amazing. I want you to know…I-I don’t mind.]] Jane stuttered, and Ella could feel her heart pumping.
She hoped Jane would denounce and reject her so she would have an excuse not to act on her desires, but nothing was stopping her now.
She could no longer lie to herself, but knowing she could speak to Jane about this provided her some comfort, even if they were talking about the same man.
[[He took us out somewhere fancy and spent the night with us,]] Jane added to break the silence.
“He spent the night there? You mean he didn’t go home?” Ella questioned.
[[No, he didn’t. I thought you moved in with him?]] Jane was under this impression, and finding out Ella spent the night out sounded unlike her friend.
“I didn’t… I couldn’t see him after that night,” Ella admitted. Kyle had her on the ropes, but finding out Kyle wasn’t even home made her efforts to dodge him all the more ineffective.
She would have to face him soon after all, if she was going to figure out if this was something that worked for her.
[[You don’t need to be embarrassed. You like him, don’t you?]] Jane asked, but Ella was hesitant to answer. Should the words come out of her mouth, it would be something she couldn’t take back.
“I-I don’t know what I feel,” Ella admitted, but this must be true—otherwise, Kyle would have seen her affection bar pop up long ago.
But one thing was for certain—Ella had taken a big step toward deciding her relationship with Kyle.
Was it just lust or something more? This was yet to be discovered, but speaking to Jane helped put her thoughts together.
Jane and Ella spoke some more about their lives, as well as how well she was getting along with Cassandra. Ella didn’t know something like this could work, but this was proof that it could with the right person.
