The talisman tore apart. Light shone as the teleportation array began to construct itself from the talisman.

“Eight years! No! Six years! Within six years, once I’m strong enough to resist the laws of the lower realm, I’ll come back! Don’t you dare forget me!” Tears welled up in the girl’s eyes as she shouted, instructing the swordsman as if her life depended on it.

“I won’t. I’ll call you.” The swordsman said as he made a hand sign of a phone near his ear.

The girl smiled. The teleportation array completed, and the girl vanished amidst the light.

The scene changed to the Immortal Realm. The girl’s symptoms quickly alleviated, and she grew better and better. She woke up in the morning with her hand clutching the artifact called the U-Phone 2.

Suddenly, the ringtone rang. The name displayed on the U-Phone screen was the swordsman. The girl smiled as she covered her mouth in disbelief. This artifact could truly contact someone across realms.

“Yes?” The girl answered the call.

“Little girl, have you eaten breakfast yet?” The swordsman’s voice came through, the voice she wanted to hear.
