Chapter 220 I broke your crayon
It took a bit of work for my men to find out everything because of Keith who was pretty much keeping everything under wraps. I mean even what was known by the socialites so far and was shown
“Okay, now I want you to keep an eye on Keith’s movements. See if Jasmine ever moves around with him.
Right now I didn’t know what state Jasmine was in. If she was awake I was sure at some point I would see her moving around with him. From there I could figure out how to communicate with her. “Yes, sir,” he accepted my order. I just hoped she wasn’t physically unharmed because there was nothing I could do. At the very least I trusted Keith not to harm her. If my men didn’t see her, I would be forced to go ahead with the welfare check though weak. But if that ultimately didn’t work I would be forced to take different measures…
“Anything else?” I then asked him to finish off.
And there is also the DNA results Ms Towers requested from the laboratory,” he continued.
” What did you find?” I asked my eyes perked up hoping we had some clues of who Marco’s father was. Possibly leading me to Diana’s partner. “Well…” he started.

ANTHONY’S POV
The next day I woke up with my pillow wet from crying last night. Some light was coming from into the room from the window but it wasn’t bright. The sun had just come from rising. When I checked the time on the clock on the wall I saw it was 7am. I looked across the room and found Marco was still sleeping in his bed.
I don’t know what time we were going to wake up but I couldn’t stay lying in bed or I would cry again like last night. All I would do was think about my mum and Louis. I ended up falling asleep whilst crying. I hoped Marco didn’t hear me. I still couldn’t believe what I had found out last night. My uncle was the one who had taken me and had beaten up my mother.
I slowly got out of bed and decided to explore the room. The walls were painted light blue, similar to my old room at my dad’s house, which was also blue. Marcos’ room didn’t have decorations like posters or anything. There were two bookshelves on the wall next to the one with the windows and then a desk and some drawers on another wall. The room wasn’t decorated or anything either.
I then went toward the window and looked outside. I saw the estate servants moving up and down the grounds. We were on the second floor I don’t think I would make it if I tried to jump down from here I thought to myself.
My foot stepped on something and I heard a cracking sound. I looked down at my feet and saw I had stepped on a green crayon. There were other crayons next to my feet and an open colouring book. I remembered Marco had been colouring this book when I woke up yesterday. On the left side of the open book was the picture Marco had been colouring and was almost finished, and the drawing on the right was still uncoloured.
I looked down at the colouring book for a moment and then decided that I would colour the next page. supposed to be on summer break, but here I am, kidnapped.
I didn’t use colouring books anymore since I was too old for them, but I was bored. If I could I would leave the bedroom but I knew this guards were waiting outside the room. So for the next hour, I coloured in the next picture as I passed the time.
“Tony?” I then heard Marco’s voice. I looked up at him as he sat up in his bed. “You’re awake already?” He asked me and then yawned. “Yeah,” I replied and then got back to colouring.
“I broke your green crayon by the way,” I told him.
“It’s fine, there are other crayons somewhere in this room,” he told me.
He watched me colour for a moment and then lay back down on the bed, still looking at me.
“I’m sorry about yesterday again. I really was happy to be friends with you at school,” he told me.
“It’s not your fault, it’s your dad, right? ” I told him. I wouldn’t blame him because it was his dad who was doing this.
“I know, but I told him about the hair you took from me,” he confessed.
I stopped colouring and looked up at him. “What?” I asked in shock.
“I swear I didn’t mean to. I don’t know how he found out,” Marco continued. “Last week he suddenly picked me up from school and told me to explain why I was talking to you and what I said to you.”
“I guess I’m sorry my promise to protect you didn’t come true,” I said to him. I recalled how I had told him my mum would be able to help him.
Marco laughed a little. “I told you my dad is scary,” he whispered. “This is why I didn’t believe it because I knew something would go wrong.”
“My mum will find us. I know she will,” I tried to assure. I remembered yesterday at dinner, Uncle mentioned that he knew Marco and I were friends. So that’s what he was talking about.
It was around 9:30 when a maid came into the room to wake Marco and I up and told us to go have breakfast. As we made our way to the dining room, I noticed a big painting of a woman. I saw it the day before as well, but didn’t really look at it until now. But now I noticed her features. Uncle Kolton looked a lot like her. The same brown, golden eyes and brown hair. Uncle and Marco had golden eyes, but they were not like Louis’ golden eyes. Louis’s were golden yellow, and theirs looked more brown.
“Who’s that?” I asked Marco.
His eyes followed what I was staring at. “Oh…. that’s my grandmother,” Marco told me.
“Where is she?” I followed up.
