I Became the Rich Second-Generation Villain - Chapter 382: He’s Seriously Injured

After the call cut off, Yan Feipeng stared at the screen for a second, visibly confused.
“It’s been so long since you and Mom saw each other. Why is she acting like that?” Yan Yuntian had overheard everything and frowned.
He’d always been more aligned with his father, especially after his mother took his aunt Feng Xuansu’s side during past disputes.
That had left him with some resentment. Hearing her speak to his father so coldly now made his blood simmer.
But Yan Feipeng just smiled faintly and slipped the phone back into his pocket, completely unconcerned. “That’s just how your mother is. I’ve gotten used to it over the years.”
Yan Yuntian wasn’t buying it. “Didn’t you notice it? In the past, she might’ve sounded indifferent, but now there’s actual disgust in her voice.”
“Really?” Yan Feipeng looked genuinely surprised, almost clueless.
Watching his father shrug it off made Yan Yuntian feel a wave of helplessness. If it weren’t for the fact that his mother held such a lofty status, he might have suspected she had someone else.
But that possibility was basically nonexistent. He knew her personality—obsessed with cultivation, proud and forceful, always cold toward men in general. No way she’d cheat.
—
Meanwhile, Wang Haoran and Feng Xuansu were on the way to the hospital. They were in a sleek McLaren P1, the engine purring as they sped down the road.
“Listen,” Feng Xuansu said suddenly, “my sister and brother-in-law should be at the hospital already. When we see them, don’t speak unless necessary. And absolutely don’t look at my sister. Try not to even glance at her.”
“What kind of people are they?” Wang Haoran asked, though he already had a strong guess.
There was no way he could let Feng Xuansu know he not only knew who her sister was, but had also had a very close encounter with her.
“My brother-in-law runs a financial empire worth hundreds of billions. My sister? She’s the master of a hidden sect.”
“They’re not people you want to mess with. Especially my sister—her moods are unpredictable, and she hates being stared at by unfamiliar men. If you so much as glance at her the wrong way, I might not be able to protect you.”
Wang Haoran nodded solemnly. “Got it. Loud and clear.”
They soon arrived at the hospital, parked, and headed toward Yan Yuntian’s ward.
—
Inside the room, Yan Yuntian’s bandaged face brightened slightly when he saw Feng Xuansu step in.
“Auntie!” he called out, sounding genuinely glad.
But his joy evaporated the moment he saw who came in behind her. His expression stiffened and fury surged in his chest.
“Wow… that’s a serious injury,” Wang Haoran said casually as he entered.
He glanced around the room, a little disappointed that Feng Rao wasn’t there. His eyes then settled on Yan Yuntian, mummified in bandages, with one leg suspended. “You really got wrecked, huh?”
“Why the hell are you here?!” Yan Yuntian snapped.
“He brought me here,” Feng Xuansu cut in, clearly displeased by his tone. “And he’s here to see how you’re doing. Show some respect.”
From the side, Yan Feipeng frowned deeply. “Xuansu, who is this?”
“He’s a friend,” she replied, tone flat.
“A friend? That’s funny. When Yuntian tried to crush this guy’s company, you went straight to Feng Rao to pressure me into backing off,” Yan Feipeng said sharply.
Feng Xuansu looked utterly confused. She had no idea Yan Yuntian had been targeting the Wang Group, and even less about any intervention from Feng Rao.
But Yan Feipeng continued, “Feng Rao actually chose to help you instead of her own son. You must’ve given her something valuable. I’m dying to know what it was.”
He smiled smugly. Even though his son had lost out, it seemed that his wife had gained something significant from Feng Xuansu. She held the legacy of a sect—everyone in Fengxi Sect knew that.
To sway Feng Rao, she must’ve offered up something extremely valuable. Otherwise, why would Feng Rao not only stop him from suppressing the Wang Group but also make him pay damages?
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Feng Xuansu frowned, irritated by the twisted assumptions. Then she added coldly, “But let me say this clearly. Whether it’s Yuntian, you, or even my sister—if any of you try to hurt my friend, I will stand against you. Don’t push me.”
Yan Feipeng’s expression darkened. “Feng Xuansu, don’t forget who took you in. Do you plan to betray Fengxi Sect?”
“I owe Fengxi Sect, but I’ve already paid that debt. I don’t owe anyone anymore,” she replied firmly. “Honestly, I don’t want to leave. But if you insist on targeting my friend, I won’t stand by. And when that happens… don’t blame me for turning hostile.”
The room fell into a sharp silence. The tension was thick enough to cut through.
And then came the notification:
【Ding! Host has disrupted Yan Yuntian’s emotional state. Gained 1200 Villain Points. Yan Yuntian’s Protagonist Halo -60. Host’s Villain Halo +60.】
“Auntie, you…” Yan Yuntian stared at her, stunned.
He knew she favored Wang Haoran, but he never imagined she would consider turning her back on Fengxi Sect for him.
Yan Feipeng sneered. “Feng Rao will be here soon. Let’s see if you still have the guts to say that in front of her.”
That warning made Feng Xuansu visibly uneasy.
She wasn’t afraid of Yan Feipeng or Yan Yuntian. But Feng Rao? That was different. Her strength was unfathomable, her personality domineering, and she tolerated nothing that rubbed her the wrong way.
If Yan Feipeng tattled, Feng Rao might explode with rage.
Feng Xuansu wasn’t worried about herself—but she feared what Feng Rao might do to Wang Haoran.
She turned to him, her voice low and serious. “Let’s go.”
Off to the side, Yu Ning gave Wang Haoran a subtle glance, clearly urging him to leave too.
But Wang Haoran had come to enjoy the show—and he wasn’t about to leave early.
Just as he was about to speak, he heard soft footsteps approaching. Several cultivators, strong ones, were closing in.
Using X-ray vision, he scanned through the walls and saw three beautiful women walking down the hallway.
He recognized two: Yun Xuan and Feng Rao.
Leading the group was Feng Rao herself, face cold as ice.
An idea sparked in Wang Haoran’s mind. He gave Feng Xuansu a nod as if agreeing to leave, then deliberately lightened his footsteps and rushed toward the door.
Just as Feng Rao reached the entrance, he pretended to trip and stumbled forward.
Arms flailing, he reached out instinctively—and grabbed something.
The air froze.
The entire room fell dead silent, tension rising as everyone stared at the… scene.
It was a moment that would not be forgotten.
