I Became the Rich Second-Generation Villain - Chapter 384: Seeking the Miracle Doctor

Feng Xuansu narrowed her eyes as she glanced at Wang Haoran. Something about all this felt off.
But with everyone watching, this wasn’t the time to ask. She simply moved in front of him, shielding him from what might come next.
Yanfeng’s face turned several shades of green before he finally rose from the bedside and walked toward Wang Haoran with murder in his eyes.
But just as he crossed halfway, Feng Rao reached out and blocked his path with a single hand.
“Let it go—for Xuansu’s sake,” she said calmly.
“Let it go? Do you even know what that bastard said?” Yanfeng’s voice shook with fury. His teeth clenched as he stared Wang Haoran down.
“What did he say?” Feng Rao raised a brow, unable to stop herself from asking.
“That… you’re soft. And bouncy,” Yanfeng forced the words out, face twitching between rage and embarrassment. “He was clearly doing it on purpose. We can’t just let this go!”
Feng Rao’s gaze dropped slightly, sweeping over her chest. Instead of anger, a quiet satisfaction stirred within her.
Even if she was older, she had never fallen short compared to younger women—and now, it seemed, she’d just received confirmation.
Still, no one could see her emotions. Her face stayed composed, giving nothing away. In her mind, Wang Haoran was probably just venting after learning the truth about her.
He must’ve been angry that she had lied. Even so, she didn’t take it to heart.
“This ends here. I won’t allow this to turn into a mess,” she said. Her tone was firm, cutting off all argument.
Yanfeng still looked unwilling, but when Feng Rao shot him a sharp glare, whatever he was about to say died in his throat.
At that moment, Yun Churan, who had been silent the whole time, finally stepped forward. She greeted Yanfeng with a respectful bow and a soft voice. “Uncle, I hope you’re well.”
Even though Yanfeng was still upset, he forced a smile and replied with an elder’s warmth, “Churan, you’re becoming more elegant by the day. Yun Tian is lucky to have you.”
“No, the lucky one is me.” Yun Churan offered a gentle smile before turning to Feng Xuansu and greeting her as well. Only after greeting all the elders did she make her way to Yan Yuntian’s bedside.
“Yuntian, I was so worried when I heard about your accident. I came as fast as I could with Aunt Rao. How are you feeling now?” Her voice was filled with tender concern.
“Thanks for coming. I’m doing okay,” Yan Yuntian answered with a smile. “The injuries are serious, but after a few months of rest, I’ll be back to normal.”
While the two exchanged words, Wang Haoran stood nearby, quietly studying Yun Churan for the first time.
Earlier, he’d been too focused on Feng Rao to pay her much attention. But now that she was speaking, he gave her a good look.
As the woman selected to be Yan Yuntian’s official wife, her looks, poise, and temperament were all spot on. She carried herself with elegance, spoke with grace, and had the aura of a true noblewoman. It was no wonder the Yan family approved of her.
From the outside, she really did seem like a perfect match.
But Wang Haoran didn’t buy it.
Despite how caring Yun Churan sounded, her concern didn’t feel real. Her tone was right, her expression perfect—but to someone who knew how to fake emotion, it was clear she was performing.
Her role as the dutiful fiancée required this level of concern, and she played it well.
He saw through her instantly, because he’d done the same thing too many times himself.
Actors recognize each other.
And aside from instinct, Wang Haoran had another reason to be skeptical—Yan Yuntian’s halo.
The guy came equipped with an “Unrestricted Overrun Halo” halo. In his main plotline, no female lead ever liked him from the start. Every female lead either disliked or ignored him until his protagonist halo kicked in.
That was the pattern.
So, of course, Yun Churan’s affection wasn’t real. At least, not yet.
While Wang Haoran let those thoughts run their course, the conversation continued.
“A few months? Isn’t there a way to heal faster?” Yun Churan asked.
“Under normal conditions, that’s the best-case scenario,” Yanfeng chimed in before Yan Yuntian could answer. “Unless we find a miracle doctor.”
“Then why not find one?” she asked directly.
“I’ve been planning to contact the Divine Doctor from Yixian Valley,” Yanfeng said with a nod. “But they’re in the capital. It won’t be easy to bring them here quickly.”
Yan Yuntian’s eyes flickered at the mention. He opened his mouth, paused, and then stayed quiet.
Bian Suwen—the Immortal Doctor—was actually here in Qingling.
If she treated him, his recovery would speed up dramatically.
But one worry gnawed at him.
These doctors were sharp. If she examined him and uncovered his hidden condition—especially with Yun Churan in the room—it would be humiliating. He wasn’t even sure if Bian Suwen could fix it.
What if she couldn’t? What if Yun Churan found out?
How could he even face her after that?
“She’s actually in Qingling right now,” Feng Xuansu suddenly said, unaware of Yan Yuntian’s inner panic.
“What? Where exactly is she staying?” Yanfeng asked quickly.
Xuansu only spoke out of habit, not realizing she stirred the pot. When Yanfeng looked at her for more, she went quiet, unwilling to respond.
She had no goodwill toward him, not after how he treated Wang Haoran.
“Xuansu, can you tell me?” Feng Rao stepped forward with a soft smile.
Unlike her resentment for Yanfeng, Xuansu still felt grateful toward Feng Rao. After all, she spared Wang Haoran earlier out of consideration for Xuansu.
So, Xuansu nodded and told her the address.
Feng Rao turned to Yu Ning and gave her an order. “Go invite Bian Suwen here.”
“Yes,” Yu Ning said before stepping out.
“I’m going to the restroom,” Wang Haoran whispered to Xuansu, then slipped out of the room.
But he wasn’t heading there to relieve himself. Instead, he pulled out his phone and called Bian Suwen.
With a single word from him, she would refuse the invitation outright. She’d never say no to him.
But he didn’t plan to stop her.
If she didn’t show, Yanfeng would just look for someone else. Qingling had other skilled doctors—Lu Chen, for one, was even more talented than Bian Suwen.
Stopping her wouldn’t matter.
But if she went and treated Yan Yuntian, the benefits could be far greater.
For one, someone had to pay for the treatment.
And two… well, there was always the chance to give Yun Churan a surprise she’d never forget.
