I Can Copy And Evolve Talents - Chapter 1300 The God of Trickery [Part 1]

Chapter 1300 The God of Trickery [Part 1]
“Now, this is a fortunate turn of events.” The Owl-Doctor said to Northern with a small… smile on his unassuming face.
“What… exactly do you know about this god?”
“He was the patron god of our realm.”
“Your realm…? What realm?”
Hervath answered him unceremoniously.
“The Echo Realm. This realm…”
Northern’s brows furrowed slightly.
“What do you mean…? This is Tra-el. It has always been Tra-el.”
Of course, the Echo Realm had never been an alien subject to him, such as Acheronix, those two places were always something he wondered about and their significance.
Most especially since the monsters of Acheronix were quite difficult to deal with and were regarded to be nonetheless a dead god, killing one could drive you to depravity where you start your journey to becoming a Tyrant.
Of course, this was merely a speculation that Northern had made since he witnessed the memory of the void about Prince Phainon’s sad story.
The First Origins sent him out to win the favor of the gods by slaying their iniquities, in order to earn the favor of the gods. This meant that the gods had long turned their gaze away from Tra-el at the time.
Of course, there was also the part that it was all a trap for the First to attack the gods, or who knows, their patron god, in order to set the world free. But this was a long time in history and even the world at this time was known as Tra-el, why was the Owl-Doctor claiming that it was Echo Realm.
The Echo Realm, on the other hand, used to be what stood at the borders of Limitless Void. There was really no way to reach it because every time the Void extended when he defeated rifts, the border moved even further away.
Northern had not just even bothered too.
What had him so confused right now was neither of all those things but the claim that this was the Echo Realm. When according to the memory of the Void, this was Tra-el.
“Tra-el? You mean the failed world? If it is the failed world, then yes, it is the Echo Realm. I’m not sure if you have heard of the stories of the first world.”
Northern’s frown was deepening.
“The gods all govern worlds across the universe. Is it more like their responsibility? Who gave them these responsibilities and why? We have no idea. Some texts back in my younger days when I used to study this topic speak about an existence even above Divinity, but unidentified, lost to its own identity. It is said that the world exist because of them. It’s more like a situation where the librarian says, you know what, I’m done being a librarian, and vanishes one day. Then it was up to the workers to keep things running in the library.”
Hervath carefully paced his words.
“Except it wasn’t just one library that got abandoned. It was the seven foundational libraries of reality.”
Northern paid attention.
“To prevent the foundation from falling, the gods stepped up, bunch of them. They took responsibility and it helped stabilized reality. Except one reality, the First World, it was the world that was created as a pocket dimension by one of the these so called Librarians. In fact, what we studied have it that other foundations did not know the concept of world existence until this person shaped the first world.
“It was an amazing world until he abandoned it. When he abandoned it. Things began to get scary with the world. So the other librarians had to seal it, called it the failed forward. But following that an echo of it was created and was called the Echo Realm. Which perfected whatever was twisted in the Failed World. The native name for the Echo Realm was called Tra-el.”
Hervath looked at Northern, taking a breath before explaining further.
“It was easily derived from the first world. Which means traveled out of… signifying that it was brought out of the first world and made to be the accepted first world while that first world was sealed and banished to become a failed world. Which was later renamed…”
“Acheronix.”
The Owl-Doctor looked at Northern with a strange blink of his large eyes.
“Surprising, you know about these things?”
Northern shook his head.
“No…”
‘But it was right under my nose all these while and I had no idea…’
“You didn’t? Hmm… well, with how much devastation the world had gone through… especially with the first cataclysm, history was practically erased. The god overseeing how world withdrew, after that the balance and structure that prevented Acheronix from breaking down our world was put in jeopardy. The Echo Realm began to strive to look more like the Failed World, in the process, rifts broke into the universe. Before we just had to deal with creatures from Acheronix that knew how to dress like the sins of the gods.
“But in the gods’ absence, our own world began to bleed. All of it… was thanks to those vile siblings!” he sounded with palpable hatred.
“Let’s see, Ul, Eki, Eskedar?”
Hervath’s eyes burned fiercely with the mention of their names.
“Being someone that served underneath the ninth of the Tomb King, I never truly was in the place to speak but the indignation the Tomb Kings had towards those siblings was unending and unquenchable. Their greed… it cost us our world!”
Northern carefully observed every emotion on the Owl-Doctor’s face.
“So… who are they? Who do you understand them to be?”
Hervath looked at Northern, “What?! We wouldn’t know?! They popped out sometime along the course of the world and were viciously powerful, it was easy for them to stand at the top of the realm.”
“The Tomb Kings theorized that they may be side effects of the librarians. You know there’s also a postulation, that they didn’t just stop with the Echo Realm, they created more and more realms, and each time they did, they learnt better, the realms got better too. They spent so much time trying to drive what the first librarian created to perfection only to vanish in the end.”
Northern in all honesty, felt like from meeting Hervath, he had gained so much more than he had in the past seventeen years of his life.
‘This is a boon… a great one!’
