I Have 10,000 SSS Rank Villains In My System Space - Chapter 392: Final Showdown

Chapter 392: Final Showdown
“Like what’s more to say now?” Razeal muttered, not loudly, not explosively.. just tired. There was something far more cutting about this tone than the shouting from before. His shoulders were no longer rigid with fury; they were heavy, as though the weight of everything had finally settled into his bones. “You clearly said it yourself. You chose consistency over me.”
“No!” Selena screamed back immediately, her voice cracking in the middle, desperation tearing through every syllable. “I didn’t.. I fucking didn’t mean that wayy!” She looked almost frantic now, like someone watching the last bridge burn behind her. “How can you say that? How can you believe that?”
Tears streamed freely down her face, but she wasn’t even trying to wipe them anymore. Her hands trembled at her sides, fingers curling and uncurling helplessly as if trying to grasp words that refused to come out right. “I didn’t choose consistency over you,” she insisted through sobs. “I didn’t calculate… that. I didn’t calculate suicide into my mind. I didn’t even know that was something you were thinking. I never imagined that could even be an option. Back then, I thought… I thought this would calm down. I thought I just needed time to stabilize it.”
Her breathing became uneven as she tried to articulate what she had never been able to explain properly. “So much was happening at that time. The accusations were public. The court was watching. The empire was watching. I thought if I ran up there while you were being punished and suddenly changed my words, no one would believe me. Not a single soul. They would say I panicked. They would say I was lying because of our relationship. They would twist it and make it worse for you.”
Her eyes searched his face desperately for understanding. “Even truth needs proof to be believed. You know that.. If I had just rushed up there and said its false i lied, they would’ve said I am fabricating and lying everything nowww because I care for you.. and want to stop what is happening to you.. They would’ve said I couldn’t bear the consequences of my own words. They would’ve assumed it was all was lying. And then they would’ve hatef you moree never to be stopped. I thought staying consistent would at least keep the damage contained.”
Her voice lowered, trembling. “If I had known you were thinking that extreme… if I had known you were going to try to end your life… maybe I would have made that extreme choice too. I don’t know.. I fucking didn’t.. Maybe I would have thrown myself in front of everyone. Maybe I would have confessed everything even if they didn’t believe me. Maybe they would’ve believed it over my dead body. but i just don’t know. ..” She shook her head violently. “I didn’t know. I fucking didn’t know you were.. like that…”
She really didn’t know.
But she knew one thing clearly: she had never chosen “consistency” over him.
Behind him, Celestia’s fingers curled slowly into fists. She, too, remembered standing there. She remembered not speaking. She remembered telling herself that if she interfered, it would complicate everything up more. She remembered believing that pain was temporary, that reputations could be rebuilt. She knew the risk of intervening then would have been a bad idea for herself.. and for him as well. So she didn’t.
Obviously, they were both pained by what Razeal was enduring. But after all, they were all at a level, power and in positions where wounds could be healed.. It wasn’t that serious thing..
She also had not calculated suicide attempts into her equation either. Like she wasn’t certain if she would have done what Selena did, but she would have taken very serious actions.. at least to stop it. Whatever people believed or not, she would have taken him out of there. He was more important, after all.
She was naïve back then and hadn’t taken it that seriously. If she had known it would become that serious.. she would never have done it in first place.
It was just… everything had escalated too fast. The trial. The public humiliation. The political weight. The expectation. They had been young, powerful, but still naïve. They believed everything could be managed.
They were wrong.
It just felt like bad luck or the worst fate? She doesn’t know.. things happened too fast. They simply weren’t able to react in time.
And now he stood there thinking they hadn’t cared at all.
Celestia juat swallowed hard, silent tears continuing to slip down her face. She didn’t even try to argue. She didn’t have the strength. He was seeing it from one side.. the side of the one who was destroyed and she couldn’t say he was wrong to feel that way. It was his right.
Razeal just shook his head slowly, almost tiredly. He didn’t want to hear explanations anymore. To him, they all sounded the same. “I didn’t mean it.” “I thought it would be fine.” “I didn’t know.” They couldn’t offer anything beyond denial and regret.
And that disappointed him more than anger did.
He had already given up on expecting something else.
But still the worst part the part that infuriated him beyond reason was that even now, standing there looking at them, seeing Selena broken and Celestia silently weeping… he still felt bad.
He hated that.
He hated that looking at them like this twisted something inside him. That the part of him that remembered childhood, shared moments, unspoken bonds, still reacted. It pissed him off more than their tears did.
Because it meant he wasn’t cleanly detached.
He wanted to be.
He wanted to feel nothing.
Instead, he felt anger, betrayal, exhaustion.. and beneath it, something reluctant and unwelcome.
Complicated grief.
“Do you know what stopped me the last time?” Razeal asked suddenly, his voice no longer raised, no longer sharp.. just steady in a way that felt far more dangerous than anger. The question cut through the fragile quiet that had settled over them, and both women instinctively looked up at him. Their faces were swollen from crying, their expressions suspended between fear and desperate hope, as if bracing for whatever truth he was about to drop next.
There was a brief pause before he answered, his crimson eyes drifting somewhere distant as though replaying something only he could see. “I was too angry,” he said finally. “I realized I didn’t want to die.” His jaw tightened faintly. “I wanted to make everyone regret it. Everyone.”
There was no pride in that confession. No satisfaction. Just cold clarity.
“At one point,” he continued slowly, “I even decided that if I was going to be called a monster… I might as well become something that could survive like one and be deserving atleast to be called that because i was being called that anyways…”
Selena’s breathing faltered again, her chest hitching as if the air itself had grown too heavy to inhale. “No.. no.. I never wanted you to become this,” she whispered brokenly, shaking her head as tears continued to spill down her cheeks. “Please don’t say that. You aren’t that. Don’t become something that because of us. You.. You don’t deserve that. You did nothing wrong.. We were the ones being wrong..” Her voice dissolved into sobs, and she bit her lower lip hard as if punishing herself for even speaking.
Razeal glanced at her, but his gaze wasn’t burning anymore.. it was tired. “I know,” he said quietly. “I understood that too, at some point. That you peoples don’t deserve it. That i change my self for you people…” He exhaled through his nose slowly. “That’s why I’m not that. Not right now.”
“That’s good,” Selena murmured, nodding quickly through her tears as though clinging to that one thread of relief. “That’s… that’s good.” But her voice trembled with uncertainty. She didn’t know what else to say, didn’t know how to step into this space between them without making it worse.
Several seconds passed, thick and strained.
“I can’t undo it,” she finally said, her voice small but determined through the tremble. “I can’t erase what I did. I can’t take away the lashes, or the exile, or the nights you wanted to die.” She lifted her swollen, red eyes to meet his. “But if there’s anything I can do now… anything at all… even if it’s just carrying the guilt properly instead of hiding from it… I’ll do it.
“Anything for you.. Whatever it is.. Just say itt.”
“You can’t fix it,” Razeal cut in, shaking his head slowly.
“You think you fucking can?” he suddenly snapped, frustration surging again. “After all that? After everything that happened? No one can.. No one.” His voice rose sharply, the anger that had been simmering threatening to boil over again. “.ou can’t undo it. You can’t rewrite it.. It had Fucking happened..”
The words came out harsher than he perhaps intended, but he couldn’t stop himself. Years of suppressed rage were clawing at his throat, demanding release. He felt the old heat rise again.. the urge to shout, to curse, to tear apart the air itself with all the fury he had swallowed since that day. It felt like he should scream until there was nothing left inside him. That maybe if he emptied it all now, it would finally stop burning.
But before he could spiral further..
A hand touched his.
Not forcefully… Not to restrain him. Just gently.
Razeal’s breath paused mid-rise as he slowly turned his head.
Sofia stood at his side, Maria still cradled securely in one arm as her other hand lightly wrapped around his. The gesture was simple.. almost fragile but grounding. Her fingers weren’t tight. They didn’t demand… They simply rested there, warm and steady.
She looked up at him with eyes that held no accusation, no expectations.. justt understanding. Deep, quiet understanding. Obiously she had heard everything too. She had also pieced together the whole story. And what she felt now wasn’t shock or judgment.. it was sorrow.. And Sadness for what he had endured. And something else too.
Support.
Still, she controlled it.
“It’s fine,” she said softly. “I’m here with you.” Her thumb brushed lightly against his knuckles, subtle and reassuring.
“Leave it,” she added gently. “They aren’t worth it.”
There was no venom in her tone. Just calm.
Her voice wasn’t cold. It wasn’t hostile toward the other two. It was just protective and sad knowing what he went through Obiously..
Razeal looked at her for several long seconds. The fury in his eyes didn’t vanish instantly.. but it dimmed. He took a slow breath. Then another. The tension in his shoulders eased by a fraction. He hadn’t even realized how tightly he had been clenching his jaw until that moment.
She was right.
Why was he yelling? Why was he bleeding himself open in front of them again? What was he trying to achieve? Closure? There wasn’t any. Justice? That day had already passed. He didn’t need their explanations. He didn’t need their guilt.
He nodded faintly, just once.
Behind them, Celestia and Selena watched the exchange in silence.
And they both saw it.
The way his anger softened under Sofia’s touch. The way he listened to her without resistance. The way her presence steadied him in a way neither of them could anymore.
Selena’s chest tightened painfully at the sight. Not from jealousy.. not even from rivalry. But from the crushing realization that someone else now stood where she once had. Someone else could calm him. Someone else could reach him when he was spiraling.
Someone else standing in place which she deserved the most.
And that made it worse.
Selena didn’t interrupted or protested.. Because like what could she possibly say?
But
Celestia’s gaze did not leave Sofia’s hand where it rested around Razeal’s fingers. She tried to keep her expression composed, tried to keep that imperial stillness she had trained into herself since childhood, but her eyes betrayed her. They lingered on the qumiet intimacy of it.. the way Sofia did not cling possessively, yet held him with certainty; the way Razeal did not resist. That silent understanding between them felt heavier than any accusation he had thrown moments ago.
Celestia slowly bit down on her lower lip, hard enough to feel the sting, using the pain to anchor herself as tears threatened to fall again. She nodded faintly to herself, as if agreeing to something no one else could hear. And then, perhaps out of desperation, perhaps out of panic at the widening distance she felt swallowing him away from her completely, the words left her mouth before she fully examined them. “You know I am sorry,” she said, her voice unsteady yet direct. “And… I know its not the best time but i just wanna say it.. I.. I am ready to really marry you now.” She looked straight at Razeal when she said it, not deflecting, not hiding, as if offering the last thing she believed she still possessed to give.
And just as she said it.. The air did not even have time to settle around that declaration.
A sharp, resounding crack split through the space.
Pahhh!!
A sharp slap sound came.. Piercing~
And
Celestia’s face snapped to the side under the force of a sudden slap, the sound echoing louder than it should have in the open air. Sti she had not raised her guard. Had not attempted to block. Had not even flinched before impact. The red mark bloomed instantly against her pale cheek. Slowly very slowly.. she turned her face back forward.
Sofia stood before her.
At some point between Celestia’s words and the strike, Sofia had released Razeal’s hand. She had crossed the distance in an instant, positioning herself directly in front of him, and without hesitation had delivered that slap. Her eyes were blazing.. not with uncontrolled fury, but with something far more visceral. They were wet, shimmering with restrained emotion, yet sharp enough to cut. There was no political or possessive calculation in her expression. Just only disgust.
“You… you are disgusting,” Sofia Suddenly said, her voice low but vibrating with conviction. She did not scream it. She did not need to. The word landed heavier because she meant every syllable.. Looking at her with utter disgust.. Like how can someone do this after all they did?
Celestia though.. did not retaliate. She could have. Instinct alone could have shielded her. Her strength could have crushed Sofia where she stood. But she did none of it. She simply nodded slowly, the sting still burning across her skin. “I… deserved that,” she suddenly said, her voice thick and heavy full of emotions. There was no sarcasm in it. No pride. Only acceptance. as if she meant it..
Sofia’s jaw tightened. She shook her head faintly, as if unable to even process the audacity of what had just been said moments ago.. marriage, as if that could be some convenient redemption now. As if vows could erase scars. She did not argue further. She did not insult again. The disgust in her eyes said enough.
Then she turned.
“Let’s leave,” she said quietly to Razeal, stepping back to his side and taking his hand again, this time more firmly. “You don’t deserve this.”
Razeal looked at her for a few seconds.. really looked at her. At the quiet resolve in her face. At the steadiness she offered without demanding anything back. Then he glanced down at their joined hands. His breathing had calmed, though the exhaustion lingered in his features. After a moment, he nodded. Slowly. Once. Then again. “Yeah,” he said quietly. “You’re right.. I…. Dont..”
He lifted his gaze one last time toward Selena and Celestia.
Both women were still standing there, tears spilling freely now, no pride left to conceal them. Selena’s lips trembled uncontrollably; Celestia’s composure had shattered completely, her platinum eyes glassy and vulnerable in a way no one had likely seen before. Neither of them spoke. Neither tried to stop him. Because there was nothing left to argue. No words left that would not reopen wounds.
Razeal nodded faintly toward Sofia again, as if confirming the decision, and then the shadow beneath his feet began to spread outward in silence. It did not erupt violently. It did not roar. It simply expanded, dark and consuming, swallowing the space beneath him. In the next instant, the shadows rose like a curtain, enveloping him, Sofia, and Maria.. still unconscious in Sofia’s arm and then collapsed inward.
And just like that they were gone.
The silence that followed was deafening.
Selena stared at the empty space where he had stood just seconds ago. For a heartbeat she did not react. And then something inside her finally broke beyond repair. “I… I…” she choked, her voice rising into a raw scream. “This is all because of me! No.. ahhhhhhhhh!” Her cry tore through the air, no longer restrained sobbing but full-bodied anguish. She dropped to her knees, hands clawing at her hair as if trying to rip out the guilt physically.
Celestia remained standing for only a moment longer. The red mark still burned on her cheek, but she barely felt it now. The greater ache was inside her chest.. a hollow, collapsing sensation. Without speaking, she stepped toward Selena. And then, without pride, without hesitation, she wrapped her arms around her.
Selena froze in surprise for half a second before collapsing fully into the embrace. Both of them clung to each other tightly, as though the only thing keeping them upright was mutual grief. Their sobbing merged into one broken sound.. raw, uncontrolled, desperate. They cried not like political figures, not like pillars of empire, but like two women who had just watched something irretrievable disappear.
They cried for what they had done.
They cried for what they had lost.
They cried because, for the first time, they fully understood that regret did not guarantee forgiveness.
They did not stop.
And suddenly
Some distance away from them.. Suddenly a faint ripple distorted the air as Sylva and Selphira reappeared, finally back from whatever spatial displacement had taken them to edge of capital earlier. They floated into view cautiously.. There wings flapping behind them.. expecting perhaps combat, perhaps chaos. Instead, they were met with a sight that stunned them into silence.
The imperial princess.. Crying?
The holy saintess.. crying?
That too
While..Clinging to each other like someone had died?
Sylva’s wind wings stilled mid-beat. Selphira’s paper wings fluttered uncertainly as her glasses slid slightly down her nose. Both of them exchanged a bewildered glance. They had sensed immense power, conflict, tension.. but this? This collapse of two of the most influential figures in the world into open grief?
They did not understand.
They did not know what had been said.
They did not know what had just ended.
They simply hovered there, confused and uncertain, unsure whether to approach or retreat.

Sorry for the late Chapter, guysss…
Also, just a reminder this novel is different from other types of novels. You know what I mean and what the difference is..
Please try to understand… writing emotional, feeling-filled Chapters and trying to show so much is far more intense than writing other kinds of novels. It takes a lot more effort in different ways.
I don’t mean anything bad by this. It’s just… I feel like I deserve better than people saying I’m just stretching it for more Chapters and money. Believe me, I’m not. I have put and am putting very, very much effort into bringing this out. This is what I truly love and way of what i want to write.. Just trying to show all characters in perfection as how they are..
And if I really just wanted money, believe me… this would be the worst way to do that. Like i literally could’ve written just smut or some dumb cliché stuff. This is far more complicated than that.
No hard feelings. I just wanted to say it.
Anyway, thank you all for the love and support. I really love you guys.
Because of all of you, this novel has come this far. It’s all thanks to you. I couldn’t have done it without you.
I hope you’re all enjoying it. Also, I didn’t know where to give this message, so sorry for the inconvenience.. but it was important. Since many readers don’t read the author’s notes or reviews, I thought this would be best.
Anyway, apologies again.
Also thanks for reading..
Much Love.. From your all time favorite and lovely Author~
