Chapter 304: Chapter 304 Private Lessons in the Hidden Chamber
Morning arrived quietly, and with it came the last day of class for the week. Friday mornings had always carried a sense of ease for Lin Feng.
He rose from his bed, stretching lightly, the sunlight filtering through the curtains painting the room in warm hues.
He headed straight for the bath. Tang Aining and Ye Jian were already there, prepared to assist him.
Their hands were gentle but efficient, lathering him with soap and ensuring every inch was clean.
And of course, the two beautiful women nearly drowned him in their huge jade buns, wielding their most priceless assets to full, devastating advantage.
After finishing, he stepped out of the bath and moved toward breakfast, completely unfazed by the curious gaze that lingered on him.
Yun Wanqing was still visibly affected by the previous night. Her eyes, slightly puffy and heavy, betrayed the fact that she had barely slept.
The relentless sounds from the night before… the unrestrained energy, the cries and whispers, the intimate chaos had kept her awake, leaving her mind restless even in the morning light.
Yet Lin Feng acted as though none of it mattered, moving with his usual calm and composed demeanor.
To him, for all practical purposes, Yun Wanqing might as well have been invisible as she was merely collateral caught up in a spectacle intended for someone else.
Everything from the night before had been a performance, a carefully orchestrated illusion to keep fooling Li Ruoxi.
Lin Feng had no desire to explain, and deep down, he knew she wouldn’t fully understand anyway.
Settling at the table, he picked up his chopsticks and took a bite of the breakfast prepared for him.
“Thank you, Emery. It’s delicious, as always,” he said, his tone casual yet sincere. He knew the effort that had gone into it.
Emery had worked twice as hard to ensure that his meal was perfect not only in taste but in spiritual essence.
The meat she prepared for him carried the power of spiritual beasts, enriching his experience to the most profound.
Meanwhile, Ye Jian and the other women received ordinary mortal food, simple and nourishing but without the refined essence of his own meal.
Lin Feng walked toward his classroom, his women trailing closely behind him.
Yun Wanqing, driven by curiosity, followed after politely asking Lin Feng for permission.
She was careful, of course, mimicking her sect sister Tang Aining by using a magical veil to conceal her face.
The sight that greeted them was nothing short of spectacular.
Thousands upon thousands of students had already gathered, filling the wide field in front of a huge stadium.
The atmosphere buzzed with anticipation, an electric tension that seemed to ripple through the air itself.
“Look! Mentor Lin Feng is here!”
“Good morning, Mentor Lin Feng!”
“Please, everyone, keep quiet!”
Voices erupted like a wave, overlapping and competing with one another, a chaotic chorus of excitement and admiration.
The sheer volume was deafening, yet the crowd’s energy was infectious.
Even Yun Wanqing felt a thrill run down her spine at the sight of so many people reacting with such synchronized enthusiasm.
Lin Feng, calm as ever, took it all in with measured composure.
But even he could not help the flicker of astonishment crossing his features.
The numbers were staggering.
Yesterday, he had counted just over three thousand students. Today… the crowd had more than tripled.
Over ten thousand students now filled the field, their eyes all focused on him.
The scale of it was almost incomprehensible.
Clear Moon City itself had a population of just over 100,000, meaning that more than ten percent of the entire city had now enrolled in his class.
A single teacher, in front of such a massive crowd.
Lin Feng could hardly decide whether to laugh at the absurdity of it all or feel the faint pang of stress from the sheer responsibility.
And the crowd was not made up of ordinary children, either.
The majority were adults, each one presumably seeking knowledge with a purpose, eager to grow and improve.
Even the dean and the grand proctor had enrolled just the day before, adding a touch of prestige to the situation.
“I should have expected this,” Lin Feng mused, shaking his head slightly, though the action carried no frustration.
His expression remained calm and unbothered.
Despite the overwhelming numbers, he felt no discouragement.
Teaching was more than a duty for him… it was his passion, his calling.
To Lin Feng, guiding others along the right path, helping them make wise choices, and ultimately bringing them joy, fulfillment, and purpose was the true measure of success.
Numbers alone, no matter how staggering, could never diminish that.
He surveyed the crowd, letting his eyes sweep over thousands of expectant faces.
The energy of the students, their eagerness to learn, their wide-eyed anticipation… it all fueled his own resolve.
With a subtle nod, he stepped forward to the front of the field.
“Good morning, Mentor Lin Feng. I apologize that the classroom isn’t ready yet. We managed to do some work in haste yesterday, but we weren’t expecting over 10,000 students today. As it stands, it will take at least a week for the classroom to be properly prepared. I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience, Mentor Lin Feng,” the dean said, clearly remorseful.
“It’s no problem, Dean. Take your time as there’s no need to rush. The morning sun is good for our bodies, and holding class out here in the open has its own advantages,” Lin Feng replied. He then swept his gaze across the thousands of students before him.
Clearing his throat, Lin Feng raised his voice just enough to reach the back rows without straining.
“Alright, everyone, settle down.”
The massive crowd gradually quieted, the chaotic chatter fading into silence.
The sheer volume of people made the transformation feel almost magical, as if the noise itself had been drawn away by Lin Feng’s presence.
Thousands of eyes now focused on him, all breathing in unison, all waiting for his next words.
He allowed himself a small, satisfied smile. This was exactly why he loved teaching.
This… was the moment when his purpose crystallized, when the abstract idea of guidance and influence became tangible in the eager faces before him.
