Chapter 377: Chapter 377 To Lick or Not to Lick? That is the Immortal Question
A little while later, Lin Feng and his women began their journey home. The carriage rolled steadily along the quiet road, its wooden wheels creaking softly against the earth.
Inside, however, the atmosphere was far from calm.
Though no one spoke, the silence was thick with unspoken tension. Ning Xi and Ye Jian sat pressed close on either side of Lin Feng, as they always did, their presence almost possessive.
Their hands moved freely, tracing along his arms, shoulders, and chest as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Every so often, they would lean in just a little more, their soft forms brushing against him, silently asserting their closeness.
Yet despite their boldness, they remained quiet, fully aware that the carriage driver just outside could hear even the faintest sound. For now, restraint was necessary.
Lin Feng, seated between them, appeared composed on the surface, but his slight shifts and steady breathing betrayed that he was far from unaffected.
Still, he made no move to stop them, allowing their subtle advances as if he had long grown accustomed to such treatment.
Across from them, Tang Aining, Yun Wanqing, and Li Zhiyan sat together, watching the scene unfold. None of them spoke, yet their expressions revealed everything.
A faint blush lingered on their cheeks, their eyes occasionally drifting toward Lin Feng before quickly looking away, only to return again moments later.
Tang Aining’s reaction was the most obvious. Her fingers tightened slightly against her robes as she watched Ning Xi and Ye Jian cling to Lin Feng so naturally, so confidently.
A quiet heat stirred within her chest, unfamiliar yet impossible to ignore. She wanted to move closer, to join them, to feel that same closeness but she held herself back.
Lin Feng only had two sides, and those places were already taken.
Her gaze dropped for a moment before flickering back up. There was still his lap… but the mere thought made her heart race uncontrollably.
Doing something like that here, in such a confined space, with everyone watching and worse, with the driver just outside was something she simply couldn’t bring herself to do.
She bit her lower lip lightly, trying to calm the restless thoughts rising within her.
When we get home… I won’t hold back.
The thought echoed clearly in her mind, firm and resolute despite the heat rising to her face.
I want to be close to him too… I want to suck on his thing!
Her cheeks flushed even deeper as the realization settled in. The way Ning Xi and Ye Jian touched him so freely, the way they showed their affection without hesitation… it stirred something inside her that she could no longer suppress. Tang Aining lowered her gaze, her long lashes trembling faintly.
She could hardly believe herself.
She… once a dignified and revered elder of the Nine Peaks Sword Sect, someone who had stood above countless disciples and commanded respect wherever she went was now sitting in a carriage, stealing glances at a man and struggling to contain such bold, improper thoughts.
If anyone from her past could see her now, they would be utterly stunned.
And yet… She clenched her hands slightly, her resolve strengthening. There was no regret in her heart… only anticipation.
Beside her, Yun Wanqing and Li Zhiyan were no better off. Though they maintained calmer expressions, the faint blush on their faces and the subtle way their eyes lingered betrayed their inner thoughts.
Neither spoke, but both were clearly affected by the quiet intimacy filling the carriage.
Time seemed to stretch as the carriage continued forward, the rhythmic sound of the wheels and the horses’ hooves blending into the background.
No one broke the silence, yet the air grew heavier with each passing moment. Everyone was waiting. Waiting for the moment they would finally return home.

A few minutes later, they arrived back at the residence. In the courtyard, Li Ruoxi and Emery were already waiting for them, their figures illuminated by the soft glow of lantern light.
The sky had dimmed into evening, and by the time everyone settled in, it was already around seven.
They shared a happy dinner together. Compared to the tense atmosphere in the carriage, the meal was calm, filled with light conversation and the occasional glance exchanged between the women.
No one brought up what had happened earlier, yet the subtle undercurrents of emotion still lingered.
After the meal, just as everyone was about to disperse, Lin Feng seemed to recall something important.
“Zhiyan,” he said, turning his gaze toward her, his tone steady, “the Li matriarch already knows about your situation. There’s no longer any need for you to continue pretending or acting as my maidservant. You’re free now. Whether you wish to stay or return to your clan… the choice is yours. You are not bound to me.” His words were calm, but they carried a clear sense of finality.
Li Zhiyan fell silent for a few breaths, absorbing what he had said. Then she gave a small nod.
“Thank you… Master Lin Feng,” she replied softly. “I’ll likely return to the Li Clan in the morning.”
There was sincerity in her voice. She truly did miss her mother, and the thought of returning home brought her a sense of comfort.
And yet… As she lowered her gaze, a trace of conflict flickered within her heart.
Her time here had been strange and unexpected. Though nothing truly intimate had happened between her and Lin Feng, and though he had never once overstepped his boundaries with her, she couldn’t deny the hidden feelings that had taken root.
Watching him, being around him… it had stirred something quiet but persistent within her. A part of her and one she didn’t fully understand found itself wishing that things had been different.
That perhaps… she might have been chosen as well and Lin Feng would touch her too.
Tomorrow, she would leave. But whether her heart would truly follow that decision… even she did not know.
An hour later, Ling Lan and Huo Mian finally arrived. The two had been busy handling things at the restaurant.
By then, everyone was already prepared for sleep, but Ling Lan much like she had done early that morning was the first to reach for Lin Feng’s little brother.
She held it gently and licked it like a lollipop, savoring it with obvious delight. It was clear that this night was far from over.
