Chapter 382: Chapter 382 How Many True Forms Does This Guy Have?
In essence, Spirit Spring Academy would continue to serve its original purpose.
The teachers would guide the children, ensuring they developed strong fundamentals, while maintaining order and stability within the institution.
This division of responsibility created a perfect balance. The teachers kept their positions and dignity. The students received structured and effective guidance.
And Lin Feng maintained control over the higher-level teachings to the much older students he got that were obviously over the age of 10.
Naturally, among all the students, there were those who stood closer to him than others. They were the ones who had started with him on this journey.
Students like Su Wanwan, Yuan Bao, and the rest of that inner circle.
These were the ones who would receive his closest attention, his most direct guidance, and perhaps even opportunities others could only dream of.

Meanwhile, while Lin Feng remained fully occupied with the final two hours of his class, something else was unfolding far beyond Spirit Spring Academy.
High above the clouds, a massive flying boat tore through the sky at tremendous speed, heading straight toward Clear Moon City.
Its hull was dark and imposing, engraved with faint, blood-colored runes that shimmered whenever the wind brushed past it.
Even from afar, it carried an oppressive aura that made ordinary birds scatter and clouds drift apart instinctively. Inside the vessel, silence reigned. There were only two figures aboard.
“We’re only a few minutes away from Clear Moon City, Captain,” a tall, thin man reported respectfully, standing near the edge of the deck while scanning the horizon.
Before him stood an old man.
He looked frail at first glance… white hair, wrinkled face, slightly hunched posture but anyone who truly sensed him would feel something entirely different.
Beneath that aged appearance was a pressure like a dormant beast, calm yet terrifying. Every breath he took seemed to subtly distort the surrounding air. He was Captain Shi Dong.
Leader of the Ghost Blade Pavilion, a mercenary force known for operating in the shadows and taking missions others would not dare accept. Shi Dong slowly opened his eyes.
“Lu Ben,” he said in a low, steady voice, “are you absolutely certain that the treasure that that man Lin Feng has right now… is the same necklace Guo Han once wore?”
The tall, thin man Lu Ben immediately straightened even further, as if afraid even the slightest hesitation would offend him.
“I am certain, Captain,” Lu Ben replied firmly.
“I would recognize that turtle-shell-shaped artifact even if I were half-asleep or blindfolded. Guo Han wore it around his neck at all times.”
He paused for a moment before adding, “There is no mistake. It’s the same item.” The news that Lin Feng had used that same treasure in defeating Daoist Limitless Sword from Nine Peaks Sword Sect has spread far and wide and that was exactly the reason why they were here in the first place.
Shi Dong’s eyes narrowed slightly, the calmness in them shifting into something colder, sharper.
“So… that brat really has it.”
He clasped his hands behind his back and stepped forward slowly, gazing into the endless horizon where Clear Moon City was gradually becoming visible through the thinning clouds.
“Good,” he said at last, his tone unreadable. “If that is the case, then our trip will not be wasted.”
Lu Ben remained silent, waiting.
Shi Dong continued, his voice lowering further. “We have the right to be here since…”
A faint, almost imperceptible smile appeared on his lips.
“…we are merely here to correct a mistake.” The air inside the flying boat grew subtly colder.
Lu Ben nodded slightly. “Should we proceed carefully, Captain? The city is still within influence of several sects and families. If we act too openly…”
“No need,” Shi Dong interrupted calmly. His tone carried absolute confidence.
“Clear Moon City is not a place worth fearing. At most, it is a small gathering of minor forces trying to look respectable.” He turned slightly, his gaze sharpening.
“And as for the so-called ancient clans…” A faint trace of disdain flickered in his eyes.
“They are no different. They hide their true experts in the shadows while allowing their younger generation to act arrogantly outside. They stir trouble, rely on background, and expect others to clean up after them.” His voice turned colder.
“They won’t interfere… they might even thank us for teaching a lesson or two on their valued spoiled brats.”
Lu Ben lowered his head slightly. “Understood, Captain.” Shi Dong’s expression remained unchanged.
“If that young man truly belongs to one of those clans,” he said slowly, “then this will be even simpler. He will either hand over the treasure willingly… or he will regret ever stepping outside his family’s protection.” The flying boat shuddered slightly as it accelerated once more.
A few minutes later, the flying boat swept over Clear Moon City and came to a stop above the academy grounds.
The massive vessel cast a shadow over the entire field classroom, drawing the attention of everyone below.
“Look! Another flying boat just like yesterday!”
“Mentor Lin Feng really has become so popular!”
“Yes! At this point, I’m not even surprised anymore!”
The students pointed toward the sky, their voices filled with excitement rather than shock. After seeing multiple grand arrivals recently, their tolerance for spectacle had grown significantly.
As expected, the flying boat descended and landed near the edge of the field classroom. From within, two figures stepped out.
One was an old man with an imposing presence, and the other a tall, thin man following closely behind him. A few students immediately reacted with amused smiles.
“It’s another old man leading the way!”
“Is this a repeat of yesterday?”
“Haha, Mentor Lin Feng really isn’t just popular with beautiful women… he even attracts old men now!” A light round of laughter spread among the students, easing the atmosphere.
However, that light mood didn’t last long. The old man stepped forward.
His expression was cold and authoritative as his gaze locked directly onto the center of the field classroom onto Lin Feng.
“You must be Mentor Lin Feng,” Shi Dong said calmly. The laughter from the students gradually faded.
“I have come because one of my subordinates once possessed a family heirloom. His name was Guo Han.” His voice grew heavier.
“It is currently in your possession.” A faint pressure began to spread through the air as he continued.
“I am here to retrieve it and return it to its rightful owner. Hand it over immediately, and no unnecessary trouble will follow.” His eyes narrowed slightly.
“Refuse… and there will be consequences you will not want to face.” The words echoed across the field. Only then did Shi Dong finally pause.
And as he glanced around, taking in the reactions of the students and teachers, something elusive changed in his expression. Because instead of fear… confusion… or panic, he saw calmness.
And worse not a single trace of worry directed toward Lin Feng. At that moment, Shi Dong realized something was not right.
