Suddenly engulfed within the darkness that swallowed them, Pavilion Master Xie Yun tightly grabbed Long Juedi and Long Teng before it happened. When they opened their eyes, they were welcomed with the same scenery but completely different from the barren and dead land they had seen before. This land is fertile and covered with greeneries which could almost be compared to the ancient forest. The only difference is that this location feels fake as it was lacking worldly qi which suggest life. As if someone created a manmade garden.

One adult and two children were looking around in surprise. They didn’t expect such a thing to happen to them and to open their eyes to a familiar place with a different look. It’s the contrast of life and death. If the barren land area they saw before was a dead land with black grass and dead trees, the land before their eyes is now full of life. Green grasses and healthy trees even the wind felt cool unlike the humid breeze that brings forth more heat.

However, this land is too eerie. Aside from the grasses, trees and wind, there is nothing else. No insect sounds or animal presence.

“Uncle, where are we?” Long Juedi asked.

Pavilion Master Xie Yun looked around with a wary look and didn’t let go of the two brats.

Long Teng, on the other hand, said, “Xiao di, check the map. Where are we?”

Without understanding the situation, the two youngsters were fearless as they didn’t know where they were. But Xie Yun knew that this place isn’t simple if it’s truly that place in his mind.

Long Juedi pulled out the cheat map the seniors had given to him and was surprised that the contents had changed and its color had inverted, from white-black to black-white.

He exclaimed in surprise, “The content changed! Oh… We are now in…hm? Fairy Realm’s Mirror garden?”

“Did it truly say those words?” Xie Yun, the master of the Killer Pavilion, immediately looked at the map in Long Juedi’s hand.

Like the boy had said, the color and content had changed. However, it still gives instructions, guides, safe route and exit.

“The seniors expected us to enter this realm after all,” Xie Yun mumbles.

Long Teng asked, “Doesn’t that mean we will be safe as long as we follow the instructions?”

“Seems like it. Then let’s just follow the route, take the egg and then come out,” said Long Teng, looking so relaxed.

He didn’t care if they had fallen into another world. After safely escaping from that eagle beast nest, Long Teng had long believed that those seniors with unknown background wouldn’t harm them. His reaction is completely different from the two children who had already started to follow the map and drag him with them.

Long Juedi and Long Teng were fearlessly walking forward following only the map while Xie Yun noticed something was watching them but didn’t dare to come out. The pavilion master couldn’t understand it at first but then his eyes wandered in the map held by the two children and realized that this safe route was something created because of the existence of the map and not because it was truly a safe path.

Just thinking about the danger that was kept at bay, Pavilion Master Xie Yun gulped nervously and tightened the hands he was holding to the shoulders of the two young lads.

“Uncle Xie, what’s wrong with you? Damn! That’s going to leave a bruise,” Long Teng complained.

Pavilion Master Xie Yun said, “Sorry.” He loosened his hand but still grabbed them the next moment and said. “Don’t get separated. This is another dimension. If we get separated it would be harder to find each other again.”

The two young lads turn nervous at their uncle’s words and no longer struggle under his grip. Short term pain is better than getting lost in such an unknown world. The three continue to walk forwards as the hidden darkness within the dimension is making Pavilion Master Xie Yun. It seems whatever beast was hiding in this dimension is having fun poking at him scaring him to the point he is trembling.

Long Juedi asked, “Uncle Xie, are you alright?”

“Don’t tell me that you are afraid of the dark? Impossible! You are the most powerful assassin!” Long Teng exclaimed.

Pavilion Master Xie Yun glared at Long Teng and said, “Brat, don’t talk. Just follow the map, get the beast eggs and come out. This place is not safe. We are being watched.”

Since he was terrified, Xie Yun, this childish adult, decided to scare the two brats. As expected, as soon as he says these words, the face of the two young lads turns a bit pale as they look around.

Long Teng cursed, “Fuck! Old man you are too much. Why are you scaring us!?”

“You started it. Walk faster.” The Master of the Killer Pavilion said.

With Xie Yun successfully scaring the two young lads, their journey in such a weird dimension continues. He was sneering now that it wasn’t only him who would nervously walk around in such an empty world. Finally they reached a garden filled with no color area. As if this area was just made of black and white colors, a huge nest was located on it. There are five eggs in it. Four white eggs and one black.

As soon as Pavilion Master Xie Yun noticed the black egg, he felt a sense of resonance. It seems that this black egg is like him. It’s a demonic beast egg. Moreover, it was intentionally separated from the other white eggs. This type of discrimination within the beast world is similar to the human world.

The more one is different from the other, the more others will be afraid of you. Like how he was thrown away after being born. How no one was willing to pick him up among all the eggs humans can select? Or how he was almost abandoned due to his uniqueness?

However, in the end, within the human race there is another weirdo like him. A likeable being but unable to love his same kind. He neither liked nor hated the human race. He just doesn’t feel like being with them. As if he was born different from them right from the beginning and felt their liking to him burdensome. That’s how Xie Hei, his master, felt towards the human race.

“The nest looks weird. Are we going?” Long Teng asked.

After being frightened by Xie Yun, his anxiety had almost reached the peak at this moment. Seeing him like this with his muscular self made Long Juedi and Pavilion Master Xie Yun sigh helplessly.

The master of the Killer Pavilion, Xie Yun said, “You two grab it. I will hold your back. If a danger appears I will immediately pull you to my domain.”

“Uncle Xie, if you say it like that I am even more nervous,”

Xie Yun hit his back as encouragement and said, “Don’t be nervous. We should be safe like how you two entered that eagle nest before. Just grab one white and one white then…we run away towards the exit.”

“Um. According to the map, it shouldn’t be faraway,” Long Juedi said. “Alright! Let’s do it!”

Between the three of them, the one with the most courage happens to be the youngest. In the end, the three of them creep over and grab the eggs, one white and one black. They had no problem grabbing the white egg and placing it in the egg insulator. However, a problem occurred when Long Teng tried to put the black egg in his egg insulator with the gold-ranked eagle egg they got before.

However, this move seems to be a wrong one as the eagle beast egg in Long Teng’s possession suddenly started shaking as if it wanted to jump out of the insulator the moment Long Teng tried to place the black egg in the insulator. Thankfully, he caught the other egg before it fell on the ground.

Long Teng asked in confusion, “What’s wrong with this egg?”

“It doesn’t seem to want to enter the same insulator as the black egg, but we don’t have a separate insulator for it,” said Long Juedi.

Thinking for a moment, Long Teng suggested. “How about we leave behind the black egg? It was unknown what was inside anyway. I like the eagle better.”

Maybe because they are the same kind that Xie Yun felt that the black egg seems to be sad as if, knowing it would be left behind and its bullied days will continue.

Sensing this, Xie Yun threw his private egg insulator and said, “Put it in mine. If you don’t want it then I will take it. You don’t mind, do you?”

“No. Please take it away Uncle Xie. It looks pitiful being left behind like this,” said Long Juedi.

Long Teng placed the black egg in Xie Yun’s egg insulator and gave it back to him. “Here. I’ve put it inside.”

However, just as Xie Yun took the insulator back, he noticed something that he had never noticed before. A huge black lion head comes out of a space-like portal staring at them with menacing eyes, leaving him bewildered at the moment and immediately grabs the hands of the two children who barely hid their egg insulator and was dragged away by him.

Roar~

Pavilion Master Xie Yun shouted as he ran away with them. “RUN!!” Without hesitation he jumps towards the exit before the unknown beast chases after them.
