Caught off guard by the question of the God of Destruction, the caretaker of the mine gave an answer that left them stunned while Hei Anjing’s eyes squinted but didn’t look surprised. Ye Xiajie had no care for everything else except his wife and remained expressionless.
The caretaker answered, “Of course! It’s a big shot. The current marshal!”
As if hearing what he just said himself, his face turned white as he covered his loose mouth when he looked at the surprised faces of the owner of the mine, a young man with a playful face and another with an emotionless face, the caretaker knew that it’s over for him. The owners of the mine will not allow him to keep his job and the marshal will most likely not spare him at all.
“I’m sorry! I was threatened! I didn’t do anything but let him inside! That’s all I did! He doesn’t take much jade ores as well. I’m not lying! Please spare me!!!” the caretaker said.
Knowing that he was busted, the caretaker can only kowtow towards the old couple and the young master. Who knows maybe they will spare him at least.
Nangong Rui and his parents look disgusted by how this person is willing to lick anyone’s shoes. He had no pride or whatsoever. He will stick to anyone in power. Like a damn parasite.
Mrs. Nangong had the hardest heart in this family and without any hesitation she kicked this traitor which is something the old caretaker didn’t expect.
“First, you lied in your reports to the family. Second, you allowed just anyone in the mine. Third, you are so shameless I want to stomp on you. So shameless! Old thing! You are fired!” she said.
The old caretaker held his stomach in pain. It seems that Madam Nangong had not hesitated at all when she kicked the old caretaker. But it seems that this man’s shamelessness doesn’t end here. He reached out and hung on the leg of the Madam and kept saying ’spare me, please spare me.’
However, he is out of luck as the madam not only handles the family, she also hates his kind of person. She didn’t even look back after firing this irresponsible man. When they entered the mine, the Nangong Family were alright, but the reactions of Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie were completely different.

He responded to his other half, “Yes. This is cosmos energy and an unrefined one. A’Xia you truly do not feel any rejection towards this power at all?”
“No. I feel even stronger instead,” answered the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.
The God of Destruction smiles at him and only says, “That’s good.”
Before Ye Xiajie can ask anything he turns his head to look at Nangong Rui and his parents. They couldn’t feel the cosmos energy as they are mortals. This energy only restrains those with divinity in them.
“Uncle, Aunt, it seems that there is an underground prison in this mine. Did you ask someone to make it?” Hei Anjing asked.
The old couple of Nangong Family looked shocked. They didn’t know anything about the underground prison. This place only has raw jades without energy in it, at least for the side of the mortals who can’t feel anything in this place.
Mr. Nangong said, “Impossible! Aside from sending miners to this place, we haven’t asked anything to be made here except for the warehouse!”
“Prince Hei, is there truly an underground prison in this family mine of ours?” Mrs. Nangong asked.
The God of Destruction nods his head and explains the artificial changes in the terrain of this mine. Even though the changes aren’t obvious in the eyes of ordinary people, those who are sensitive to changes in natural lands would definitely not miss an unnatural inclination of the land.

The God of Destruction approached the pile of raw stones and placed his hands over it, keeping his hand in touch with the stones and moving it around. Suddenly, an unexpectedly smooth surface within the rough stones was found. With a slight push, that part of the raw stones was pushed in.
A part of the mountain started shaking revealing an entrance with a stairs that leads underground. Everyone was shocked by this scene.
Nangong Rui exclaims, “Holy shit! There is indeed an entrance!”
“Mom, Dad, is this something you have ma–” his words were cut short as he saw his parent’s surprised expression followed by disbelief and finally anger. After all, it wasn’t very hard to know who created such space.
Mrs.. Nangong complains, “Just because he is the marshal, he cannot do this on someone else’s property!”
“No wonder. No wonder he asked someone from the main clan to pressure us. His goal was to take over this place and make this place his own. It seems like he had been treating this place as his own seeing how he made such hidden changes,” Mr. Nangong said with a gloomy face.

They were terrified when they saw the corpse of their caretaker and realized that the one who might have killed it was that missing person from their group.
Mr. Nangong said, “He had escaped. We should send out a wanted poster for this person.”
“No. We don’t even know if this missing miner was even using his real face or just borrowing a dead man’s identity. We need to send more people to investigate this. I am not swallowing this loss and will not give up!” Mrs. Nangong said.
Mr. Nangong said, “If that’s so then we should go home and arrange everything.”
He then looked at the two princes from the beastmen race and asked, “Your highnesses, we planned to go back home with Xiao Rui. Are you staying here to investigate the underground prison?”
“Yes. We will inform you of further discoveries,” said Hei Anjing.
Mrs. Nangong said, “Then be sure to be careful.”
“Aunt, it’s your family who should be careful. Just in case we will have our hidden guard escort you back home,” said Hei Anjing.
With a sort of a hand gesture, a group of beastmen appeared in the area surrounding them. They were all wearing black clothing for them to easily blend with the shadows in the area. There are at least a dozen powerful beastmen warriors who have appeared.
Ye Xiajie commanded, “Escort this family back home safely. You are only to return after the people who can protect them have arrived.”
“Yes, Prince Ye. As his highness commanded!” The beastmen warriors saluted them.
The God of Destruction said, “Please take them with you. They will escort you back home.”
