Originally, Eris was already among the more exceptional noble ladies, and although she felt inwardly bewildered by Magnawell’s unexpectedly high praise, she quickly regained her composure.

It would be fair to say that her past experiences played a role here. Even now, Eris still doesn’t fully understand why, but from the very beginning, Kaito had always held her in high regard. Because of that, through him, she had already experienced several occasions where people she met would evaluate her highly for reasons she couldn’t quite grasp.

Of course, her questions were endless, but she was able to accept that being highly regarded wasn’t a bad thing and stabilized the conversation afterward without issue, carrying on smoothly with Magnawell.

Well, precisely because she was competent enough to recover like this, one stomach-aching situation after another kept arising……

After finishing some light conversation, Kaito and Eris headed home, while Magnawell decided to take a look around the gym…… when he suddenly tilted his head upon noticing Alice sitting on a bench, leisurely drinking wine.

Perhaps it was a clone, as Alice remained even after Kaito and Eris had left. Magnawell approached her and spoke with a slightly exasperated expression.

[……And why are you drinking wine there?]

[Come on, cut me some slack. I just got hit with a Subject K recently, so times like this call for enjoying some good wine.]

[Unn? Did something happen?]

“Subject K” was a term Alice often used, a coined expression that essentially meant some kind of troublesome situation related to Kaito had occurred. Magnawell was aware of her habit of using such terms, and as he tilted his head and asked what had happened, Alice let out a sigh before speaking.

[……Honestly, I wish he wouldn’t casually receive some unknown item that can essentially generate an unknown seasoning infinitely, like it’s just some souvenir. Maybe the transfer arrangements have been settled between World Creators, but dealing with the rumors spreading and preventing confusion, preparing countermeasures in case it becomes known to the public…… who do you think handles all that, seriously…… And Kuro-san, when it comes to baby castella, her IQ drops to about 3, she not only becomes a dummy, she actually makes things worse……]

[Ahh, matters involving Otherworld Gods huh…… indeed, that does sound like quite the ordeal.]

[And on top of that, he’s apparently thinking about visiting higher-dimensional worlds someday, so I’ve been busy training to adapt to higher dimensions myself.]

[……You’re planning to go along?]

[What do you think will happen if something happens to Kaito-san when I’m not around!?]

[U- Umu, I see……]

Though she complained about how troublesome things were, it seemed Alice fully intended to adapt herself to higher dimensions and accompany him as his guard. Magnawell gave a wry smile.

Regarding the unknown seasoning, she had already taken measures without being told, and rather than denying Kaito’s desire to someday visit other worlds, she chose to support him, training herself accordingly. As always, her devotion was unmistakable.

[……By the way, Shalltear. What do you think of that Eris Dia Hamilton? Is she truly the kind of prodigy Miyama Kaito claims her to be?]

[In a certain sense, she rivals Lilia-san…… when it comes to stomachache, that is……]

[Well, there’s no doubt she’s talented. But in terms of ingenuity, Chris-san is superior. She’s not quite on Lilia-san’s level either, instead, she’s more the type who draws opportunities to herself. She gets along very well with Kaito-san personality-wise and is quite favored by him, so there’ll likely be plenty more developments involving her. She’s definitely someone worth keeping an eye on.]

From Alice’s perspective, while Eris is certainly highly capable, she isn’t exceptional to the point of standing far above others. Perhaps it’s best to describe her as a well-balanced type, her intelligence, physical ability, social skills, and managerial aptitude, all qualities required of a noble, are consistently at a high level.

There’s no doubt she’s outstanding enough to be called a talented lady, but she isn’t someone with overwhelmingly extraordinary gifts. However, her compatibility with Kaito is extremely high.

It’s not just that her personality happens to align well with his preferences, she’s also skilled in conversation, and though unintentional, she firmly hits upon areas that easily raise Kaito’s favorability, such as topics related to Nebula and pets…… In a sense, it could be called a trick of fate, but her talent for increasing Kaito’s affection might be exceptional.

[It’s all unintentional and coincidental, and Eris-san herself probably tilts her head wondering why she’s so liked by Kaito-san…… but somehow, she just perfectly hits all of Kaito-san’s sweet spots. Even her choice of topics, she’s incredibly good at raising his opinion of her.]

[No, that’s not it. I mean, judging from how she carries herself in high society, she definitely has conversational skills and a wide range of topics. She’s a good talker, no doubt, but I wouldn’t say she’s extraordinary. However, when it comes to conversations with Kaito-san, she somehow keeps landing on exactly the right answers…… It’s like, only during those conversations, she becomes the kind of person who draws in the right opportunities, like Lilia-san…… Well, she’s definitely going to have a lot more hardships ahead. Well~~ this wine is delicious!]

Based on Alice’s assessment, Eris is already quite favored by Kaito, and since she consistently hits right where it matters in their everyday conversations, her favorability will only continue to rise, bringing with it one stomachache after another. And so, savoring that prediction with a sense of amusement, Alice leisurely sipped her wine.
