Infinite Awakening: My Exp Doubles Everyday - Chapter 367: Progenitor

Chapter 367: Progenitor
Xiang Yu slowly opened his eyes.
He flexed his fist, clenching and unclenching his palm. As he did this, the space around him became increasingly chaotic and unstable. He sighed deeply. Then he closed his eyes and continued flexing his hand.
After taking a few short breaths, the space around his hand no longer stirred whenever he clenched his fist. He opened his eyes and breathed out steadily to calm his qi.
He thought to himself that his pure physical strength had reached the peak of early tribulation stage and was growing at an incredible rate. It might even reach mid-stage by the end of the day without even taking into account the growth in body refining – just the pure strength boost from the stellar constellation physique alone.
Unlike the transcendent dao body that seemed to focus on everything equally, the stellar constellation physique had a strong inclination toward raw power. While this was definitely a good thing, it had the unwanted side effect of making his power too high to control properly.
Unlike other strong cultivators who could simply contain their qi to interact normally with the world around them, he couldn’t do that. Physical strength was much harder to control than qi. You couldn’t just retract your physical strength to avoid crushing space whenever you moved.
This required much deeper understanding of oneself as well as the surrounding environment.
Xiang Yu used his understanding of space, time, void, and gravity to navigate the world without his physical body directly destroying everything it touched. Although this was difficult and required him to maintain constant focus, he didn’t think it was that terrible.
Who knows? It might even help him grow his understanding of these domains.
He got up from his position and stretched his body.
He even jumped around a few times to make sure he was completely stable. After seeing no problems with how his body interacted with the world, he sighed in relief. He could finally function normally around others.
He looked at the rising sun. It was getting late, almost seven in the morning. The wedding was just in a few hours. He needed to start moving.
He looked around his previous home. The cave had now transformed into something he could finally call a proper home. Not that it wasn’t one before, but now the appearance matched his feelings about it.
He walked over to the animal pen.
He had already cleared the entire area and moved almost all the animals to an external pen, except for one rooster and one hen.
He looked at them thoughtfully.
He was going to give the rooster the dragon bloodline and the hen the phoenix bloodline.
The reason he chose the hen for the phoenix bloodline was that he felt the bird was more closely related to the phoenix.
As for the dragon bloodline, he didn’t feel the boars or any of the other animals he had were particularly related to dragons. This was why he had decided to pick the junglefowl for this too.
“Weren’t their ancestors dinosaurs or something? Dinosaur, dragon, same thing,” he thought.
Actually, it didn’t really matter which animal he chose. These beasts only had lesser bloodlines, meaning they would instantly be taken over by the new powerful bloodlines.
Their previous identity didn’t really matter at all.
…
Xiang Yu stretched out his hands and concentrated.
He thought to himself that after the nucleosynthesis had begun in his bloodlines, he felt as though something had fundamentally changed within him. He could feel that he had reached a new level of bloodline existence.
Although it still wasn’t quite at the progenitor stage, he could tell that he was extremely close.
As he thought of this, the air seemed to stir around his open palms. Suddenly, a blood drop appeared on each of his palms. Xiang Yu thought to himself that although he hadn’t reached the progenitor stage yet, he felt that he could actually condense pure blood level bloodline essence.
His expression remained calm as the blood drops in his palms continuously swirled. More and more essence condensed into them. Then, Xiang Yu opened his eyes and the blood drops instantly calmed.
He looked at the blood drops. Each had crystallized inside a thin layer of pure bloodline essence that held the rest together. He examined the two drops, both were indeed at the pure blood level.
He thought to himself that at his current level, he could produce this level of bloodline essence twice a day. Since he always produced both bloodlines each time he condensed essence to ensure neither bloodline got weaker than the other, he would always have four condensed bloodline essences daily.
He also had the feeling that this would increase as time went on as the fusion reactions in his bloodline essences continued increasing his level and bringing him infinitely closer to the progenitor stage.
He turned his attention to the two animals before him who had been trembling in fear after detecting the bloodline power.
“No need to be afraid,” he said as he forcibly fed the bloodline essences into them.
As soon as the bloodline essence entered each of their bodies, they were instantly overwhelmed by the high amount of energy. Their bodies twisted and inflated as if about to explode.
Xiang Yu easily steadied their energies and seized control over the essences in their bodies to ensure they didn’t completely overwhelm the creatures. This allowed the essences to slowly merge into them.
Xiang Yu thought to himself that these mythical bloodlines were really prideful, even wanting to destroy the host instead of being wielded by such a weak being. He then shook his head. They were just a little foolish. Instead of looking down on the weak host, why not make the host stronger?
After a few minutes, the bloodlines completely integrated into the two creatures.
The rooster’s body glowed a deep azure with a shade of green and transformed into human form. The human form was that of a middle-aged man with a large frame. He wasn’t dressed, but his body was covered in scales that acted as clothing.
Next to him, the hen glowed a deep vermillion before transforming into a beautiful middle-aged woman with a fairly generous chest. She also wasn’t dressed, but red flames were covering her body, acting as clothes.
The two knelt on one knee before Xiang Yu. “We greet the master,” they spoke in unison.
