Infinite Awakening: My Exp Doubles Everyday - Chapter 369: Master

Chapter 369: Master
On the eastern border of the sect, a huge rock served as a meditation spot.
A man with a huge frame sat there in a meditative posture, energy swirling around him. Every few seconds, he would exhale deeply and release golden energy that sparkled in the air before fading away.
As he practiced, someone landed silently behind him without making a sound. The man slowly opened his eyes but didn’t turn around to look.
“You came,” he said calmly.
“You knew I’d come?” Liu Feng asked, surprised.
Qing Long smiled widely as he turned around to face him. “Of course. You and I are the same after all,” he said with confidence.
Liu Feng also smiled back. “I have seen many others with dragon bloodline, but they’re nothing compared to you,” Liu Feng said as spiritual energy began gathering around his body.
“Of course none would compare to me. After all, I’m my master’s creation,” Qing Long said proudly.
“Master?” Liu Feng was confused for a moment. He hadn’t expected a dragon with such powerful bloodline aura to actually acknowledge someone as their master. Who could be worthy of such a person calling them master? Suddenly, he remembered something and his eyes brightened with understanding.
“You mean the immortal?” he asked.
“Immortal? How could my master be described by such a simple word? Are you saying every immortal out there is on the same level as my master?” Qing Long asked, clearly displeased by this.
“Ah, my apologies. I mispoke,” Liu Feng said quickly. “So it’s him,” he thought.
“Hmph,” Qing Long scoffed with annoyance.
“Let’s get on with it,” he added as he shifted into a battle stance, his aura flaring up like flames around his body.
Liu Feng looked at him and also entered a fighting stance.
“Such powerful aura,” he thought to himself. It wasn’t just spiritual power, it was also bloodline power mixed together. Liu Feng thought that although he was only at the peak of high blood level while his opponent was at the pure blood level, with his immortal scripture, he could avoid bloodline suppression. But even without the bloodline suppression, the pure bloodline essence was incredible.
There was also something else he could sense from Qing Long.
He could tell this was no ordinary dragon. Even among pure bloods, his bloodline essence was probably one of the most powerful.
“This should be interesting,” he thought as his own aura also flared up around him.
But suddenly, they heard a voice. “What are you guys doing?”
Liu Feng looked toward where the voice came from.
“Li Mei? Why are you here?” he asked.
“What? I can’t be here?” she asked back defensively. Then, looking away, she added, “It’s not like I’m following you or anything. I just saw you behaving strangely and thought I should…” She suddenly paused and looked back at Liu Feng with a furious expression on her face.
“What did I do now?” he wondered, seeing her angry look. He thought to himself that all the Li family girls were completely crazy.
“Hmph,” she scoffed loudly. Then she began speaking again. “I just came to warn you not to do anything weird. It’s my cousin’s wedding and she might not like it if you ruin something,” she said as she turned around and walked away.
Hearing her words, Liu Feng froze.
Then he saw an image in his mind; his entire sect burning in flames, Li Yao watching with a crazy expression on her face, saying, “You ruined my wedding, so it’s only fair that I slaughter your entire sect, right?”
Liu Feng shook his head. He absolutely couldn’t let that happen. What was he thinking?
His spiritual aura died down completely and he scratched his head awkwardly, looking at Qing Long. “Maybe next time,” they both said at the same time.
Qing Long was also scratching his head in embarrassment. He thought to himself that he had been careless. It was his master’s wedding so he shouldn’t act like this. His instincts as a dragon were making him crave battle, and he couldn’t help himself when he saw another dragon.
…
Zhu Que was being pressed to the ground by an overwhelming spiritual pressure.
She wondered what was happening as she struggled, barely managing to raise her eyes to see Li Yao before her.
“Is that the mistress?” she wondered.
It looked just like master, she thought. No, the master’s aura was much more intense, but this pressure was several magnitudes more frightening. She wondered if this was what her master meant when he said her chances of death increased by over ninety-nine percent while in her human form.
“Mistress, please listen,” she began.
As those words left her mouth, she felt the crushing pressure lighten considerably.
“W-what mistress? Don’t say such strange things,” Li Yao said, her voice wavering.
“Master’s wife is the mistress,” she explained.
At this point, the pressure had almost completely disappeared. Li Yao was now using her fingers to play around with her hair, blushing. “Well, technically, I’m not his wife yet,” she said softly.
“When master asked me to escort you, he called you his wife,” Zhu Que said.
“Stahp,” Li Yao said, her face turning even redder.
She then appeared next to Zhu Que in an instant, helping her get back to her feet.
“I could tell from the start that you are not a bad person,” Li Yao said, patting her shoulder.
“Really? I could’ve sworn you thought I was your mortal enemy just a few seconds ago,” Zhu Que thought to herself, but she didn’t dare say it out loud. After all, it would be a shame for her master to lose his subordinate so soon.
“Really?” she asked with a pleased expression, pretending to appreciate the praise.
“Really. You can trust me,” Li Yao said, putting her hand against her chest in a sincere gesture.
She then put on a more serious expression, placing both hands on Zhu Que’s shoulders. “But there’s one thing I don’t like, and I hope you understand,” Li Yao said firmly.
Zhu Que wondered what was suddenly wrong. Li Yao changed expressions way too quickly.
“Please tell me. Zhu Que will do as the mistress wishes,” she said, placing her own hand on her chest respectfully.
Li Yao glanced around nervously, as if checking to see if someone was listening. She blushed slightly when she noticed her martial aunt watching. Then she spoke quietly, “You should find another way to address my husband.”
This caused both Zhu Que and the martial aunt to have confused expressions on their faces.
“Umm… well… you know… it’d be strange when you call him master and I call him like that sometimes,” Li Yao said, her face completely flushed red.
“You call him like that sometimes?” Zhu Que asked in confusion. Then suddenly she understood and blushed slightly herself. “I understand. I will refer to the progenitor as such from now on,” she said quickly.
Elder Huang watched from the side, also blushing slightly. “These kids sure know how to play. Maybe we should also…” she murmured to herself.

What am I doing with with my life
I dont like the way mistress sounds tbh, was keeping it around just for this scene. Should we change it to lady?
would’ve been nice if we use Chapter 369 for the real deal lol
