Isekai Journey Of The Magic Archer - Chapter 1258 - 1258: Creatures of the east

[Eon’s POV: ]
There were surveillance footage playing in the party room, and it was showing their guests of honor.
Del and Zod were there, laying some distance away from one another and there was something beside them, so we were watching the whole show play out.
“They are waking up, look!” Everyone present watched as the two presidents slowly opened their eyes.
All of us watched them waking up from their short but deep nap, and in the very next moment, when they looked around themselves, they were first stunned.
“They don’t know what just happened to them, lol.”
“I bet they had expected some kind of surprise but they wouldn’t have guessed something like this in their wildest dreams.”
“I wouldn’t have guessed something like this, man. This is just too wild. Just look around this place.”
“Ah… I wish all of us from the batch were here.”
“Right? I see some missing faces.”
“You people are soooooo sweet~. We just hated these two most of the time for messing with many of the things we were doing.”
Many of their classmates were here right now, and they were talking with us as if we were the closest friends to them.
They were our immediate seniors so there wasn’t that large of an age gap, but they were still not the same as us.
‘Many of them had made into powerful places. Some were royal mages, some were knights with considerable contributions in recent wars. Some of them were actually leading figures in many of the industries around the world.’
These were some of the finest students the great academy of hope had produced. Thanks to the two of the most competitive figures of recent history that became our presidents, their batch had many great talents that were able to bloom thanks to their presence.
“Oh! Oh! Zod’s little snake! It’s been so long since I last saw that little guy~!”
“It was always soooo cute~. Just look at it right now~!”
Seeing Sansan waking up from his sleep and realising it was in a different place completely, the look that it had known something was wrong all along, and the look of bitterness on Zod’s face made Sansan react so funnily that everything looked just cute to the rest of the people present.
Even some of the teachers looking at the footage couldn’t help but smile warmly. They couldn’t resist the charms of the little Okagi, a being that could turn them into particles of light and eat them alive if they just wanted to.
[{ Master, they know you were behind all of this~. }]
Celes was pretty happy with all of this. She had been keeping a close eye on the two of them these past few days and if it weren’t for her, we wouldn’t have known where the two of them went when they weren’t around.
The special space that they had their secret tree house in wasn’t simple. Celes couldn’t access it with her clones. She had to go there herself if she wanted to go inside.
The space had restrictions that I didn’t understand at first, but we can think about all that later.
{ “Alright everyone! They are coming here! Let’s get ready~!” }
Tia was acting as the manager till the very end… she could really become a good manager in some big place if she wasn’t considering becoming a travelling adventurer like her idol.
“Del looks pissed, hehe. She didn’t like the dress.” Rein was the one that created the dress design for Del’s current dress.
Del wore more comfortable clothes most of the time. Dresses were reserved for important occasions for her, but even then, she would wear something that was more unconventional but comfortable.
What she was wearing right now was a mainstream fashion dress, a kind that she doesn’t wear, or at least something I have never seen her wear.
“I already told you she won’t like it. That one looks especially uncomfortable.” I already told her she wouldn’t like this dress but Rein was simply smiling right now.
She wanted Del to wear this dress on the day of their departure. She wanted her to look the best she does… and it was no brainer that she looked fabulous right now.
Most of the people present here must have never seen her in this kind of dress. Many of the ladies present were blushing right now and the same was true for many of the boys.
These were the grown ups who must also be engaged to someone by now… but that did not mean they couldn’t admire the beauty of their vice president.
“She looks like a queen~. Look, even Zod is complimenting her~.” As we all could see on the screen, he really was impressed by how she looked right now.
But Del did not like the compliment so she obviously cursed him… thankfully we had kept the audio option off.
‘But most of the people here already knew what she told him. His saddened face was enough for us to know.’
Anyway, the two of them, as well as the snake in pretty clothes, now walked towards the lights— we had placed light indicators throughout the corridor to bring them to where we were, and now they only had to follow these lights.
“Oh! Oh! Look! They did try to go a different way~! Hahaha! You were right~!” The laughing right now was none other than our dumb Hide.
The guy was a prince and a literal successor to an empire but he was acting as if he was in his neighbourhood playing with his friends.
“They’re in for a big surprise~.”
“Hehehe, this is the best show ever~!”
He wasn’t even the only one doing this here. Many of the seniors shared his energy and were delighted to see the two presidents crashing into an invisible wall when they tried to go on a different path.
They did not have any choices here. We made sure they came through this particular path. There was no other path available to them thanks to the headmaster’s help.
“She’s gonna use her magic.”
“No she won’t.”
“Oh yes she will.”
“It’ll be so funny if she does.”
“I bet she will try to blow things up there as well.”
The last comment was intentionally made towards the bunch of ladies who were staring too much at the vice president Del.
They were all her ‘close’ friends. Just like many other ladies from our batch, these ladies used to have fun together back when they were still in the academy.
“Seems like she doesn’t want to ruin things for the day.” Rein made a comment as she saw her calming down as well. It seemed like the president had tried to stop her from using an explosive spell, but I knew the real reason the best.
“She doesn’t want to mess things up for you.” Looking at my Rein, I reminded her who Del cherished the most right now.
Rein was happy a moment ago, but now there was a bittersweet smile on her face. Attraction, lust, and nature was on one side and her feelings towards Rein were on the other side. Rein sometimes felt bad for her, and right now was one of those times.
“You did that on purpose, didn’t you?” She gave me an angry glare, knowing well what I was trying to do. But I had to do what I had to do, you know?
“Precutions are important even when you’re being careful. This is for her best.” Shaking my head once again, I patted her back and turned towards the screen once again.
The two of them were finally on their way here, with Sansan hissing happily from Zodac’s neck.
He seemed happy right now, and the presidents were the same.
“Alright, they’re almost here.” We took our positions around the place and prepared for their arrival.
They were right before the gate when they realised how they had practically overlooked this entire block of the academy over the last few days.
It did not take them long to realise the headmaster was involved in this as well, but the smile on their faces was still pleasant.
‘All of us played them this time.’
As the duo walked in expecting something like a gathering of the entire student body, some gifts, or even a grand congrats, what met their eyes stunned them unexpectedly.
“Surprise, dummies~!”
Sparkles and glitter fell from the ceiling, a little celebratory indoor firework magic was used to enhance the effects, and along with it, the cheers from all of their classmates filled the room.
“…”
Neither of the presidents had expected this… seeing familiar faces, seeing familiar faces holding funny photos from their time in the academy, seeing all the teachers and students, their familiars and even the helpers that knew them being present in this place caught them off guard.
“What the hack? What is all this…?” Del was obviously going to curse. There was a bet going on among the seniors to see how many times she will curse today.
But that was all fun and games.
“Headmaster?” President Zod stared blankly at the headmaster who allowed for all this. The budget for this whole thing, inviting and bringing all of these people, this place, and the obviously luxurious food at the back… academy did not have any budget for this.
‘The headmaster wasn’t going to allow any of this inside of the academy at first, but I made sure we were on the same page after a day of negotiations.’
We used our own money, student funding to be more precise, and all of the other things came from the house captains.
We represented everyone else this time, but it was all agreed upon by the rest of the student body.
“He’s just too good with his words, haha. I had no choice here~.” The headmaster just smiled at them, and asked them to enjoy this party prepared for them.
They were the guests of honor today.
They were the ones departing this academy.
We just wanted to be good juniors and give them the best send off we could… was there anything wrong with it?
