Isekai Journey Of The Magic Archer - Chapter 1259 - 1259: Visit home? No!

[Eon’s POV: ]
The party proceeded with the greetings from everyone from their old batch.
Everyone present here had been close with the two of them. Since they were presidents, they were in charge of various things on various occasions.
They did their work according to the rules and sometimes went sideways for the sake of the student body.
There have been many presidents of the student council but not all of them have been loved as much by the student body as the two of them.
‘The seniors were all very happy to see the presidents and it did not take them long to bring out the old memories.’
The photos that we were holding when they entered were something we helped them with.
They were extracted from their memories with a similar artifact as the one Mom has in their bedroom.
These pictures showed Del and President Zodiac when they were students here.
There were all kinds of embarrassing pictures, as well as stories we had never known about.
“Wait, Del. Look at this one. What was happening-.”
“Wait! Not that one!”
“Yes, this one’s so fun~. Huhuhuhu~.”
Rein was making fun of Del along with a bunch of ladies who had gathered around a certain table right now.
We had this elaborate ceremony planned out but I guess we aren’t going to follow up with the structure anymore.
They were done seeing the presents, the food, the notes from our batch, and all the things we prepared for them.
They were emotional at many points, but we made it through the early hours.
‘Now the ladies and many of Del’s close male friends are gathered around them while President Zod is chatting similarly with a different group on the other side.’
Del is getting flustered each time a funnier picture comes up.
There’s a follow up story with the picture, and despite her urging, the ladies aren’t being forgiving to her.
“So, it was our cultural festival. I guess you guys have yet to do it but we had a ton of fun during ours~.”
“Del was wearing this traditional eastern dress since President Zodiac insisted on an eastern theme for both of them and she was looking stunning.”
There was a different photo where she looked stunning but the one that they were talking about right now was anything but stunning.
“She looked far prettier than right now— you’re looking gorgeous, you’re always looking gorgeous, yes, but I’m saying you looked much prettier back then.”
Del was glaring at the girl who said that, and there was a little anger in her eyes even though she corrected herself.
But that little interaction didn’t stop their flow.
“Sooo! She was looking pretty, was getting compliments from all of us, and everything was going well… until it wasn’t.” A different lady continued after the previous comment and the others picked up after her.
“Since it was a cultural festival, we had all kinds of things happening in the garden.”
“There were exhibitions, there were dance performances, plays, a fashion show was also going on in one section.”
“Don’t forget the food. There was a lot of food around.”
“Many of us were making dishes from fresh ingredients… and by fresh, I mean as fresh as it can get.”
In the picture in question, Del was covered completely in blood.
Her entire body, head, the fresh that was supposed to be pretty, everything was covered in blood.
Her hair was a mess, and she was holding a knife stained with blood… it almost seemed like she was the one that had just murdered someone.
She would have looked badass if the picture depicted a cold expression that she usually, but that wasn’t the case.
She looked grumpy, her hands folded, her eyes staring down, and there… laying on the floor, a creature that was raised in the east as cattles, was licking the fur of what seemed like a newborn baby.
“They brought all kinds of creatures from around the world. The students were given mad freedom back then—- hell there was a group from the nomad community that somehow sourced a live (Blue) rank White Ox.”
“But none of us in our wildest imagination would have guessed that the Ox would be an expecting mother, one who didn’t want to die before bringing in her children into this world.”
“Oh? What happened though? Did she run wildly after realizing they were going to kill her?” Rein wasn’t the only one gathered around the group of ladies. Tia, Med, and others were there as well.
“Of course. The creature ran wild across the entire garden. Both presidents chased after them themselves.
The knife that Del’s holding was the knife she was using when she was offered a big chunk of brisket.”
“I can clearly imagine how she ran after the Ox after it destroyed the lunch she had waited an hour for.”
The blood came from the last stall that the creature destroyed, one that was selling Blood dishes from around their regions.
“It was a fun day, hehe. She had started running after the creature with all intentions to kill, but seeing the mother with a child just made her feel helpless.”
“And this one of the most iconic scenes was born~.”
The students were gathered around a creature, some having witnessed the birth of a rare creature just now…
Many had mixed feelings on what they had just seen, President Zodiac was clicking pictures from all angles, and Del was just standing there, covered in blood, unsure whether to kill the creature or not.
***
A snake that was just as big as the giant, three legged white crow.
The entire body of the creature was blue, almost like a sapphire. The creature stood at almost four feets, and it was as long as four tenths of the arena.
Its body coiled like a ribbon of living sapphire, every scale catching light with a liquid sheen.
Slender fins ran along its back and tail, delicate as lotus petals, though narrower than those of true sea serpents.
According to what was known about them, despite their fragility, they rippled hypnotically in the air, allowing the being to glide through the mist in dense forests as though swimming in wind.
Widely known as Sapphirenaga in the folklores of many of the tower’s cultures, this was a mystical serpent born from moonlight and the first breaths of a universe.
But its presence was anything but meek.
Its twin sapphire-blue eyes held no pupil, only the endless reflection of unseen depths. They shimmered in harmony with the jewel embedded at its brow: a glowing gem that seems to pulse with the creature’s heartbeat, casting rings of azure light across its surroundings.
The being that had just appeared before them was anything but normal. As the rest of them took in the creature’s beauty, KiRA spoke up first, looking directly at the being with a not-so-happy look on his face.
“Who might this be? And why are they here without our permission?” Even though he was looking at the snake, the question was aimed at his business partner, the white crow who wasn’t surprised by the appearance of the snake at all.
If anything, the crow seemed to have a lot that he wanted to say. But he waited for a moment.
As the dimensional crack that they had come from closed behind them, the crow looked at the snake beside him and shook his head while looking at his business partner.
{ “So… this is my senior. They are also the ones I was not able to come see you all this time.” }
KiRA looked at the crow with an unhappy look, and then looked back at his family with a dejected look.
“It seems like we will be talking about some work stuff. You all can play around in the meantime or just watch us, if you’d like that. If you don’t understand anything we are talking about, can you please wait till we are done? I will answer whatever question you may have after we’re done.”
Presence of a superior among the Dungeon managers meant someone who was working for the same Higher Beings as you.
For the white crow, the blue serpent must be someone they needed to work with. Or perhaps the senior was supervising the white crow because of something that might have happened.
“It’s fine, Kai. This seems like an interesting situation. You continue, we will not disturb you all.”
“That’s right. You can continue.”
“Don’t mind us.”
“You can just think that we aren’t here anymore.”
All four of them were now sitting on chairs that had appeared out of nowhere, with tea and snacks on a small table before them.
They were also writing down a few things as they glanced back and forth between their notes and the two dungeon managers.
The snake, with her hissing tongue, showed subtle curiosity towards their actions. But, her main object of curiosity was the contractor of the white crow.
-Ptssss…
{ “When this one said he contracted with a mortal, many of us simply laughed at him for being ridiculous. However, seeing myself, you surely are no ordinary human, mortal.” }
The snake’s voice was melodious.
It almost felt like it was whispering to them, like some mythical snake suggesting something that should never happen.
{ “You’re strange… also, why are you carrying three level restrictors on you? Is there any reason to stay at this level?” }
It had been a while since anyone had asked him any meaningful questions. Even his own contractor did not pay attention to the strangest thing on him.
“I have my reasons. Though, I can assure you it’s not for what you might believe it is for.” KiRA answered her calmly.
