Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey - Chapter 1492: His Chance to Hold The Holy Grail

Chapter 1492: His Chance to Hold The Holy Grail
Chirp~ Chirp~
The soft sound of birds echoed across the rooftop as early morning light brushed against Aether’s face.
He groaned faintly, brows tightening as he shifted beneath the warmth, his eyelids fluttering before finally giving in. When his eyes opened, the bright sky greeted him, pale blue and endless, as if the world itself had just drawn its first breath.
“Hmm… dawn already?” he murmured under his breath while slowly pushing himself upright, a quiet groan escaping his lips. As his vision cleared, his gaze drifted to his side, where a familiar curve caught his attention.
A soft, tempting ass rested close to him, followed by the gentle flick of a fluffy tail that had wrapped itself around his right wrist as if unwilling to let him go.
Liora lay sleeping on her side, her back turned toward him. The rise and fall of her body spoke of deep exhaustion, the kind that only came after being thoroughly drained, both physically and emotionally.
Aether’s lips curved into a tender smile as he leaned closer, pressing a gentle kiss against her cheek. His voice dropped to a whisper, careful not to disturb her too much.
“Wake up, Wolfy. Morning’s here.”
“Hmm…”
A low, sleepy moan slipped from Liora’s lips as her tail tightened slightly around his wrist, responding to him even in her unconscious state.
Still, she didn’t wake, her body clinging to rest as if it were the last thing keeping her upright. Aether had left her no mercy the night before, pushing her beyond limits and leaving every muscle sore and overstimulated.
She needed this rest, and he knew it. Not just sleep, but real recovery, the kind that would carry her through the day without collapsing into him again.
Aether stretched his neck slowly, rolling his shoulders as he exhaled. As much as he wanted to stay there, wrapped in warmth and softness, duty whispered insistently in the back of his mind.
He had already slept for an entire month!
His gaze lifted briefly to the bright sky before falling back to Liora’s back, smooth and inviting even in rest. She looked unbearably alluring, her perfect, round ass with his tattoo on it… making something twist inside him.
He shook his head, forcing himself to look away as he swallowed hard.
He was really getting horny for no reason!
Carefully, Aether slid his hand along her hip and lifted her, making sure not to wake her. He adjusted her gently, resting her head against his shoulder before carrying her in one arm, holding her like a child in his single arm… like most mothers would do.
Even asleep, Liora responded, her arms curling around him instinctively.
“M… more… h.. hushhyy,” she mumbled.
Aether let out a quiet chuckle as he descended the stairs with slow, measured steps. Entering the nearby room, he lowered her carefully onto the bed, ensuring she was comfortable before easing his arm away.
“Sleep well,” he whispered softly while patting her cheek, pulling the quilt over her body with care.
He lingered there for several seconds, watching her peaceful expression, before finally turning away and heading into the bathroom.
Warm water washed over him, easing tension from his body as steam filled the room. Afterwards, he dressed himself from the storage.
Before leaving, he checked Aria’s room. She was still fast asleep, and in fact, she hadn’t even moved an inch from the place where he had put her last night.
“Looks like I was really rough on them,” he thought with a faint, conflicted smile. He wasn’t sure why, but… he kind of wanted to mate them more than ever.
His thoughts after waking up were only wanted to fill them with his seed and… have hundreds of babies.
“Is that skill messing with my lust?” he muttered to himself before exhaling sharply. Whatever the cause, he knew one thing for certain.
He had to keep it under control.
Stepping outside, the fresh air hit him immediately. His attention was drawn toward the garden, where a familiar figure paced back and forth, her movements restless and tense.
Maelona walked with furrowed brows, hands clasped tightly as if trying to steady herself. Her thoughts raced in circles, doubt and curiosity tangling together.
’What should I do? Should I just go inside?’ she wondered anxiously. ’But what if they were still… doing it? Aria and Liora haven’t answered my calls at all. Damn it… what am I even supposed to do now?’
She was so lost in her thoughts that she nearly jumped when a voice called out.
“Maelona?”
She flinched, turning sharply to see Aether stepping out of the house. Her breath caught as her eyes landed on him, her heart skipping without warning.
“A-Aether?” she said, halting in place as she inhaled deeply. Seeing him outside like this made her thoughts spiral.
Did that mean they were finished already?
“What are you doing here?” Aether asked calmly.
Before she could gather herself to answer, a familiar smirk tugged at his lips, his tone turning teasing.
“I thought only brides were supposed to be here? Are you… too?”
[+7000]
Maelona’s cheeks flushed instantly, heat creeping up her neck as she stammered in response.
“W-What is that supposed to mean?”
Aether stepped closer, his presence suddenly overwhelming, his smirk deepening.
“Who knows?” he replied lightly, eyes glinting with something unreadable.
Instinctively, Maelona stepped back, her heartbeat pounding loud enough to drown her thoughts.
She swallowed hard, trying to steady herself.
“A-Anyway, I need to talk to Aria right now,” she said quickly, attempting to move past him.
Aether shifted effortlessly, blocking her path as his gaze locked onto hers.
“Not to me?” he asked, voice low and amused. “Your beloved son-in-law?”
Maelona bit her lip as she retreated another step, confusion and heat swirling in her chest. She didn’t understand why her body reacted this way whenever he came close, but the memory from yesterday clawed its way back into her mind.
Her breath hitched as her body shuddered faintly, the brightness of that image refusing to fade.
“Ae…”
She drew in a steady breath, forcing her nerves into place before lifting her chin. When she spoke again, her tone hardened, taking on the weight of a strict mother-in-law who refused to bend.
“My official son-in-law teasing his official mother-in-law would cause serious problems for Aria and everyone connected to her,” she said firmly, eyes locking onto his. “Do you understand that?”
Aether blinked, clearly catching how heavily she pressed the word ’official’, as if it were armour she desperately needed. After a brief pause, he nodded calmly, his expression turning polite and restrained.
“Of course, I understand,” he replied evenly. “And forgive me if my actions caused you severe social complications.”
Maelona nodded with a stiff expression, her posture easing just slightly, as though she believed her point had finally landed.
However,
“Even though the official mother-in-law feels more than she should for her official son-in-law,” he continued casually, “of course, that fault lies with me. Disturbing her sleep, lingering too close, and making it difficult for her to avert her eyes from such a handsome son-in-law.”
He tilted his head slightly, amusement flickering in his gaze.
“Yes,” he concluded lightly, “it is absolutely my fault.”
Maelona froze, her breath catching as her cheeks flushed vividly, the colour standing out even against her blue-toned skin. Her eyes widened before she hurriedly looked away, clearly flustered.
“T-That’s a lie…” she muttered.
Aether’s lips curved into a faint smile, but he inhaled slowly, as his tone shifted into something more serious.
“Aria is really sleeping,” he said calmly. “If you want, you can go inside and check on her yourself. But I should warn you, the inside is a mess… and you might not like what you see.”
A crooked smile tugged at his lips as he finished.
Maelona swallowed, her throat dry as her gaze drifted toward the house. She hesitated, memories of the previous chaos resurfacing in her mind.
After a moment, she nodded slowly, already imagining the state of things within.
Aether watched her carefully before speaking again, his voice softer now, edged with genuine curiosity.
“Is it urgent?”
Maelona shook her head.
“Not urgent,” she replied. “It’s just that the Princess of the Void Empire is waiting for her.”
Aether raised an eyebrow slightly.
“You mean Lia?”
“Lia?”
“I mean Aurelia Scarlet.”
Maelona nodded once.
Aether frowned.
“What is she doing here?”
Maelona shrugged lightly, “I’m not sure. She said she wanted to speak with Aria.”
Aether hummed quietly, processing the information. He hadn’t known Lia was here until now.
“Why is she here?” he asked, his voice calm but firm. After all, he had ordered that no Void entity be allowed inside the Empires without his approval.
Not even her.
“Aria invited her,” Maelona replied. “For the engagement.”
“… I see.”
Aether fell silent for a moment, his thoughts moving quickly beneath his composed exterior.
“Unfortunately, Aria isn’t ready to wake up yet,” he said finally. Internally, ’And there is something important I needed to deal with first.’
“Why don’t you let her look around for now?” he added.
“Huh?”
“I mean,” he clarified calmly, “keep her busy.”
Maelona blinked before giving a slow nod.
“I’m not entirely sure how, but… alright.”
Aether smiled softly. Without warning, he leaned forward and pressed a gentle kiss against her forehead, the action brief yet intimate enough to leave her stunned.
Before she could react, he turned and walked away, leaving her standing there, heart racing, thoughts tangled beyond reason.
Maelona lifted her hand to her forehead, fingertips brushing the spot he had kissed, her expression drifting into something faintly dazed before she caught herself.
Her voice followed him instinctively,
“W-Where are you going?”
Aether glanced back over his shoulder, “Just taking a stroll through the Academy,” he replied calmly.
“Don’t forget Kaelith’s marriage is tonight,” she reminded him. “Make sure you come by before then.”
Aether nodded in response, lifting his thumb in a casual gesture before stepping forward again.
With each step, his presence seemed to blur, his movements growing faster and lighter until he vanished like a passing shadow.
Maelona stood there for a moment longer, staring at the empty space he had left behind. Slowly, she touched her forehead again, her fingers lingering where the warmth and faint moisture still remained.
Her cheeks flushed deeply, the colour blooming vividly before she snapped herself out of it, shaking her head with a frustrated groan.
“What’s wrong with me?” she muttered, her expression tightening with discomfort.
Truthfully, she hadn’t slept well the previous night. No matter how she turned, something had gnawed at her heart relentlessly, a restless pull she couldn’t silence. It felt like wanting something just out of reach, something she wasn’t supposed to want, let alone acknowledge.
Her hand drifted to her chest, fingers pressing lightly as she felt her heartbeat still racing faster than it should.
“Shit…” she whispered, lips curving into a weak, conflicted smile. Somewhere deep down, she understood the reason, and that knowledge frightened her enough that she wanted to deny it entirely.
She turned to leave, determined to put distance between herself and these thoughts, but her gaze shifted back toward the house behind her.
“Messy… huh?” she murmured under her breath.
Curiosity stirred inside her heart.
“Is that messier than before?”
Just a little, she told herself. Just enough to confirm what she already suspected.
With cautious steps, she walked inside.
And within minutes—
“OH MY GOD!!”
A horrified scream tore through the house, echoing loudly enough to disturb the calm of the surroundings.

Meanwhile, Aether moved across the land with effortless precision, each step carrying him hundreds of meters forward as he made use of the only skill available to him.
To his own senses, it felt like walking, but to anyone else, it would have looked like he was running insanely fast, that eye couldn’t keep up!
“Hehe~” he chuckled softly, a grin tugging at his lips as a thought crossed his mind. “She probably went inside hoping to see something… but haha…”
He shook his head lightly, amusement lingering as he continued forward. With a casual wave of his right hand before his face, a mask materialized, its surface shifting as his hair color altered beneath it.
Still moving, still blurring the line between walking and running, he arrived within minutes at his destination.
The Finished Academy stood before him, newly completed and imposing in its elegance.
Aether paused, hands resting at his sides as he whistled appreciatively.
“Looks like she finally finished it,” he muttered with a faint smile. “Good for her.”
The guards stationed outside immediately bowed their heads without hesitation.
After all, Victor was Dora’s one and only disciple, and more importantly, an Emperor in his own right.
Without sparing them a glance, Victor entered the Academy. As he walked through its halls, his eyes roamed, taking in the subtle yet deliberate changes. Buildings had shifted positions, classrooms expanded, the flow of the structure altered to feel more open, more alive.
“She really does love this place,” he murmured quietly with respect.
Soon, he reached her office door.
Without knocking, he stepped inside, only to find the room empty.
“Not here?” he wondered, turning slightly as he prepared to leave.
Then, from the corner of his eye, something caught his attention.
A sofa.
And on it, Dora lay sound asleep, her posture relaxed in a way she rarely allowed herself.
Her chest rises and falls almost like a mountain falling and rising!
Victor blinked once.
Then slowly, a sharp, unmistakably vicious smile spread across his face.
“Hehe~”
He raised his hand, fingers flexing idly in the air as his gaze locked onto what he clearly considered a sacred sight….
His Holy Grail.
