Legendary Broken Player - VRMMORPG - Chapter 880 - 880 - Don’t Touch the Tree

“King Broken!” Ronan was the first to speak as they finally stepped onto the floating island. “You actually get to build your kingdom here! Hahaha! A floating island. This is unbelievable!”
Mizuki spun around. “This place is real… I never thought I’d actually set foot on something this beautiful. This is beyond anything I imagined!” she said with bright-eyed wonder.
The others quickly followed suit—eyes wide, mouths agape. Even Broken could feel it now, more than ever. This island was breathtaking.
Before, he’d shared this place only with Alora. It felt intimate, sacred. But now… with more people walking its soil, their reactions genuine, joyful—he finally saw the place anew through their eyes.
It wasn’t just a hidden base anymore. It was beginning to feel like a kingdom.
“King Broken!” another voice called. Vallrick, laughing as he approached. “May I please take a swim in that lake? It looks unbelievably refreshing!”
“Ugh. Are you stupid, Vallrick?” one of the others snapped before Broken could respond. “There are plenty of women here. You planning to just strip down in front of everyone?”
“Idiot.”
“What if he meant to take turns? Like… gender-based bathing shifts?” someone added, trying to defuse the rising banter.
“Oh? So you do plan to peek while the ladies bathe, huh?!”
“Banish Vallrick! Toss him off the edge of the island!”
“N-no! Please! I was just kidding! Kidding!” Vallrick stammered, scratching the back of his head and laughing nervously.
Broken shook his head, the corners of his mouth twitching into a small smirk.
“You’re all free to rest here for a few days,” he said. “There’s something I need to handle, but this place should be safe. Pick wherever you like to set up camp. I’ll summon Aego to float on the lake if anyone needs more space.”
“That’s a great idea, King, thank you!” someone replied eagerly.
Broken nodded once, then held out his hand.
A surge of energy lit the air—and with a glowing ripple, Aego, the golem ship, rose into view and settled gently atop the wide, glistening lake.
He turned to the group one last time. “One rule. Don’t step onto the island in the center of the lake. Not yet.”
A chorus of voices answered back:
“Understood!”
“Got it, King!”
“You have our word!”

Broken quietly motioned for SexyGrill and SexyBloom to follow him away from the others, guiding them to a spot tucked out of sight beneath the shade of a tall tree, where no one else could hear or see what was about to happen.
“Wait here for a moment,” he said calmly.
They exchanged glances but nodded, curiosity already beginning to stir between them.
A few moments later, he returned—and this time, he wasn’t alone.
Beside him walked a woman with elegant crimson hair, flowing like silk behind her. Her movements were regal, her eyes calm and composed, and the pointed shape of her ears unmistakable.
“Queen Alora!” SexyBloom gasped, eyes widening in surprise.
Even SexyGrill’s usual composed expression cracked into a blink of awe.
Alora’s gaze shifted gently, sweeping across the surrounding area before settling on the two women. A soft smile touched her lips as she stepped closer.
“Hi, Bloom. Hi, Grill…” she said with a faint chuckle, then gracefully joined them.
“Whoa… I haven’t even seen my two little nieces yet!” SexyBloom said with a bright, playful energy. “I’ve watched the videos—they’re so adorable. I really want to visit the Dissidia Kingdom again!”
Alora laughed softly. “Yes, they’re incredibly sweet. You should come soon before they grow up too fast.”
The three of them fell into light conversation, laughter mixing with shared warmth. And for the first time in a while, Broken felt a quiet relief settle into his chest.
Originally, his plan had been to set up another gate—anchoring it to his moving golem Aego to help him travel more easily between Dissidia Kingdom and his journey across the sea.
But this?
This was better.
Now that the floating island had fully manifested in the real oceanic world, Broken could bring Alora here directly—and she could meet his team face to face.
It was a solution that had naturally fallen into place.
And even better?
Thanks to the dual gate system he had set up—one in Dissidia Kingdom, inside Alora’s room, and one in Slumdon Town. He could allow anyone on this island to exit the island and travel to either location instantly.
The catch, however, was clear.
Once someone exited, unless they were willing to take the long journey by sea… they wouldn’t be able to return.
That was the key limitation he’d come to understand from Cecilia—the island guardian. The gate only worked one way. The return trip? Manual.
Still, it was a small price to pay for the convenience and strategic mobility the island now offered.
The island wasn’t just a sanctuary now. It was becoming a hub—a new heart of everything Broken was building.
There were too many thoughts racing through his mind now.
This island—so suddenly real, so accessible—was no longer just a hidden retreat. With Ronan’s idea now echoing in his head, the possibility of building a kingdom here had become dangerously compelling.
And it made sense. He could now invite people to this place, set up housing, and establish a town.
It wasn’t massive—certainly not big enough for a vast capital—but it was enough. Enough for a small city. A stronghold. A seed for something greater.
But then came the harder question: Who would live here?
Bringing in people from the mainland was risky. Travel by ship to this location was slow, dangerous, and deeply unreliable—especially with how unpredictable the sea had become lately. It could take months.
And so, he began discussing the idea with Alora and the others.
“Broken…” Alora spoke softly. “If you’re willing to trust them, I believe my uncle, Zeno, and the other forest elves… I can convince them to settle here.”
Her eyes flicked to the glowing tree in the center of the lake.
“This island, and the tree. It aligns perfectly with who they are. Their nature. Their beliefs. They would thrive here.”
Broken nodded slowly. It was… a logical idea.
But trust? He wasn’t quite there yet.
Even if Zeno had proven himself during the defense of Dissidia Kingdom, even if he was Alora’s uncle—there was a layer of hesitation inside Broken that refused to lift.
And Alora, perhaps sensing that hesitation, smiled faintly.
“You don’t need to worry,” she said gently. “We don’t have to rush. Let’s think this through. We have time.”
He gave a soft nod in return.
In the meantime, he’d already notified both Maylock and Elincia about the discovery of the floating island, and plans were in motion to discuss a larger strategy.
Broken then turned to the two young women standing nearby and added, “Cecilia has full control over the island. If anything urgent happens, anything that needs a quick decision—just talk to her. She’ll know what to do.”
“Alright, King Broken!” SexyGrill said with a playful salute, giggling. “See you again, Queen Alora…”
“Bye, Queen Alora…” SexyBloom added sweetly, giving a gentle wave.
Alora smiled warmly. “Bye, Bloom. Bye, Grill…” she said softly.
And just like that, Broken was left again with decisions to make, and a kingdom that was slowly, undeniably, taking shape.
