"The academy of Rele? I've never heard of that academy before," Wren glanced down at his lover.

Feng sighed loudly. "Because it's not nearby. It's almost fifteen days' travel from this place. It's the beast academy to train when you are a young beast. They started accepting new students the next month. If we can get you in, you can learn and grow as you want to,"

"Wait a bit. Isn't there any other academy near us? I can join that,'

Feng shook his head. "if you want to be strong you have to go there. It's a heavy competitive academy. They have competitions every month. Through that you can even have good experience in real-life fighting or did I mention before if you win the inter academy completion they will send you as an exchange student to the second upper realm,"

Wren was really tempted by this offer. "But why aren't you joining me?"

"No, it's not okay… isn't there any other way for you to come along with me. I don't want to leave you alone Feng.. I don't," Wren whispered, holding his hands gently.

"He's outside and he needs you to rest. Just stay down," he pushed his shoulders down.

That man just glared at him slightly. "That roc is he your accomplice?"

Wren peered down at him. "Are you an idiot or are you pretending to be one? I'm not roc's accomplice rather I'm your master's mate,"

He let out a throttle.

"What was that laugh for? You think I'm kidding?"

"Sorry to say this but my master does not prefer younger beasts. He said that he only liked older and wiser beasts. Younger beasts tend to cry and whine and act childish a lot….."

Wren growled loudly. "I'm not a childish person!"

"Is it so? I think I overheard you saying you won't go to the academy in René. It's a missed opportunity, really. That place has the best education training. "Getting pregnant is not such an easy affair. Especially for a fire bird like my master. Their wombs are in a constant heated temperature and the child won't be able to last in it. pregnancy is a very rare occurrence,"

"oh," Wren pouted. "What are the chances of getting pregnant?"

"Ten out of hundred. It's low but it's possible."

"Then I won't leave him,"

MU Zheng glanced at the door again in panic.

Feng gestured for him to convince him otherwise.

"You…. you can take a spiritual pet with you to academy."

"if… if he.. Master can change forms, you can take him in as your spiritual pet," he said glancing at him. Feng gave him a big thumbs up. "Yes! You can do that! Master will love to be with you!"

"Really?!" Wren happily glanced at the door.

"How would I not?" Wren pointed to the reflective vase right next to MU Zheng's bed. "so… are you willing to come with me? Being in your bird form is extremely uncomfortable. We can work something out but I don't wish to leave you here."

Feng sighed loudly and threw open the door. "fine but in one condition. You have to finish the academy in just a year. If not, I am coming back here with or without your permission,"

"Deal!" Wren ran to him and hugged him tight. "I'm so happy…"

Feng rolled his eyes. "You're really naughty and crafty little one."

"I have to be when I'm mated to you," he whispered into his ears.

Feng smirked at his cue response. He gave a look at Mu Zheng.

He gave him a bright smirk.

"When are we departing? I shall get everything ready." Wren excitedly hopped around.

"Let's settle down a bit. There are things I have left behind to sort. After doing that, I will join you."

"How long will that take?" Wren looked at him expectantly.

"Five to ten days max."

Feng went into the room to address his friend and Wren ran out to inform Hachin about his departure.

His room was close by, only three rooms away from here.

He ran to the room. Just outside the door, Hua Ro was sitting there like a statue.

"Fuck what are you doing here?"

Hua glanced up at him.

"Just don't fucking face me. I will kill you,"

He pushed him away by his leg and opened the door. Inside Hachin was wide awake holding the iron barrel close.

He closed the door and walked over to him. "How do you feel?"

"Good I guess. Did you bring it in? It feels nice," he mumbled softly.

Wren peered at the iron barrel. "Hachin I'm just asking a hypothetical question.. if one day if your mate is no more.. Will be you be sad."

"a little bit. I would hold regret in my heart… we could have been everything, but I will be sad that we were just nothing to each other,"

Wren gently hugged him and patted his back. "and… there is something else. Will you be sad if I tell you that I'm leaving for a far eastern country?"

"I will be.. but why are you going there?"

"to improve my spiritual energy and my combat skills. I'm going to the academy of rene. I've never heard of it, but Feng says that is the best for young beasts like us"

Hachin sat close by. "You're willing to leave your mate behind?"

Hachin looked hesitant. "fine.. but I need complete assurance that et baby will be safe and sound."

Wren confidently went to Feng and asked the same.

"Definitely not! Do you know how dangerous that travel to that academy is? May beasts will finish off their competition on their way. They will kill anyone who shows weakness! Wren, how can you think of taking a pregnant beast with us,"

Wren pouted… "He can't come?"
