Lord of the Truth - Chapter 2033 When you look into the abyss-

Chapter 2033 When you look into the abyss-
Every eye in the area flew wide open, every single breath was held tight as if even the slightest exhale would shatter the fragile awe surrounding them. The scene before everyone’s eyes was… truly breathtaking, a spectacle unlike anything they had ever witnessed.
Unlike ordinary gates, which merely reveal what lies beyond them, and unlike the devastating spatial destruction attacks that conjure only a void or a black, unyielding abyss, the corridor Robin had created was entirely different, something far beyond conventional understanding, something that seemed to defy the very laws of the universe.
After its activation, after its careful expansion, and after the precise selection of its directional vector, Robin thrust the corridor forward with deliberate force-driving it straight through Mid Sector 99. The Young Belt now lay behind him, a reminder of the boundaries he had already passed. Robin’s intent was nothing short of audacious: he wasn’t merely opening a passage, he was forcing a path through the entire sector, slicing through space like a blazing dagger, pushing all the way toward the farthest edge of the sector, piercing the very fabric of reality itself.
And yet, even with the colossal circle suspended before them, the view inside did not remain black.
As Robin pushed forward, the vision inside the massive gateway began to shift and transform rapidly, revealing a tapestry of the cosmos in motion. Stars blazed past like speeding comets, planets drifted and rotated in perfect synchronization, and massive nebulae spiraled and churned, painting the space with colors no eye had ever comprehended. Every movement, every flash of light, demanded attention-no one dared blink, lest they miss even a fragment of this celestial spectacle.
Althera nearly pointed several times, on the verge of shouting, recognizing planets that appeared only for a heartbeat before vanishing and being replaced by others-worlds separated by thousands, even millions of light-years, all rushing past them in an impossible sequence.
The spacetime corridor cut through Mid Sector 99 like a blazing hot knife through butter, without resistance, without friction, without any obstruction to slow it down. Its sheer force and precision left no doubt: if Robin were to pause for even a moment, they could step forward and immediately emerge on the far side.
No hours of travel.
No complicated activation sequences.
No Pearls of power required.
The colossal gateway-so impossibly thin it seemed like a sheet of parchment- remained astonishingly stable, perfectly calm, and eerily silent, as if untouched by the chaos swirling around it. This… was spacetime itself, laid bare before their eyes.
Bang!
A small meteor shot through the gateway at that precise moment, striking Robin’s head with a sharp, metallic thud before shattering into a cascade of fragments that scattered across the ground.
“…?!”
Everyone immediately snapped to attention, straightening with lightning reflexes, weapons drawn and alert. If a simple meteor could pass through, what else might cross from the other side? A warship? A larger celestial body? The thought sent chills through their spines.
“Wait,” Althera said sharply, pointing toward the colossal gateway, every muscle ready to intervene. “What happens to the corridor between here and the section we see ahead? Will it remain as a tangible tunnel in space? And what if meteors or debris collide with it?”
Robin replied with calm authority, almost unnervingly serene: “Space will cover it. The spacetime corridor will remain, but it will be submerged within the spatial fabric of the sector. Nothing will collide with it. If that is what worries you, know this: space itself will treat the corridor as a malignant growth, diverting objects, altering their trajectories, and pushing anything that floats near it out of the way.”
He continued, his voice slow, deliberate: “Even if a warship collides with the side of the corridor, its crew will feel only a mild shockwave, no stronger than the turbulence from an ordinary spatial storm. They will pass through it without ever realizing what occurred.”
A brief, heavy silence followed, and Robin’s expression darkened as he spoke again:
“The real danger-the only thing that can truly threaten the corridor-is this point here, and the opening at the far end. Any significant pressure on either anchor point will destroy everything”
Whoosh.
At that moment, the stars, planets, and nebulae began to shrink gradually, their presence fading until they vanished completely, leaving only absolute darkness.
Robin’s brows knitted together in intense focus.
“Althera… we’ve entered the Desert of Emptiness. We’re approaching the barrier. Prepare yourself.”
“Prepare…?” Althera, still captivated by the cosmic spectacle, quickly turned to him, confused. “Prepare for what?”
“For anything,” Robin said, his tone dark and determined. “I don’t know what we’ll encounter beyond that wall. But be ready to destroy the corridor when I give the order. Even you may need multiple strikes to break it, so be ready to execute them without hesitation. I hope it won’t come to that… but preparation
is survival.”
“…Multiple strikes?” Althera whispered, turning back toward the massive gateway. His words emphasized the immense durability and stability of the corridor, making her realize just how formidable it truly was.
Then Robin shouted with authority and exhilaration:
“Here we go!!”
The darkness ahead deepened, almost as if the universe itself were about to unveil secrets it had never revealed before. Every breath was held, every heartbeat synchronized with the pulsing rhythm of space as the true test of the spacetime corridor began.
The far side remained utterly pitch black, a void so complete that the absence of even a single glimmering star made it the very embodiment of darkness. Not a shimmer, not a trace of light-just a void so deep it seemed to swallow everything whole.
Yet… even within this absolute black, he could feel it shifting. Subtle ripples, almost imperceptible at first, began to crawl across that infinite darkness. He sensed something-a presence, a stir, a reaction waiting to happen-that the void itself had not felt in countless eons.
BAAAAAAAM
The forward surge of the corridor screeched to an abrupt halt, accompanied by a shockwave that rattled the very air. The sound was deafening, vibrating through the ground beneath them and echoing across the void. “What’s happening?!” Althera exclaimed, her arm shooting out toward the hilt of her short sword, her entire body tensed for action.
“We’ve reached the barrier,” Robin growled through gritted teeth, eyes narrowing to sharp slits. “It’s invisible to the eye, but the density here… the sheer rigidity of the space… it’s staggering. This is space forged into stone, unyielding and immovable!”
“…That’s to be expected,” Althera replied, recovering her composure after the initial shock. She straightened her posture, standing rigid and alert. “Even the Behemoths themselves could not pierce this wall. I heard Behemoth Interas managed to push it back three meters-but only before it rebounded, throwing him away like a toy. That’s the limit of its durability”
“…?” Robin’s brows shot upward in disbelief. Three meters for Interas?! That sounded ludicrous-almost impossible. Yet, as he clenched his teeth harder, realization dawned. “Damn… now I see the reason behind it!”
“This is the first time I’ve seen the barrier with my own eyes,” Althera murmured, exhaling slowly, her gaze sweeping across the colossal wall. “After all the reports, I thought going here would be a waste. Even hours of primitive chaos exercises would have been more productive. At least we now have firsthand experience. You can stop now, Lord Robin-don’t push yourself into something even the Behemoths failed at.”
“…I am not trying to brute-force it like they did,” Robin replied, a slight smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “I… I have the proper method. While they struggled with their hands, I have the perfect dagger!”
The corridor’s advance had stopped…
But only briefly.
Hmmmmm
The colossal wall began to bend inward, slowly at first, almost imperceptibly, as
if the space itself was grudgingly giving way. Inch by inch, the immense barrier
yielded to the pressure of the corridor.
“Unbelievable…” Althera whispered, her voice a mixture of awe and fear.
The wall was bending. There was no mistaking it. She could feel it, she could
see it, every fiber of her being attuned to the impossible happening before
them.
Before she could fully process it, the corridor pushed the barrier inward by one
meter…
Then two meters…
Then three…
Then four!!!
“Heh~ Didn’t I tell you?” Robin, exhaustion written all over his face, drew his
hands back and released another surge of energy-less powerful than the
previous bursts, but precise. “Come on!!”
Fwoooom
The corridor surged forward, the pressure bending the wall inward nearly ten
meters. The resistance of the barrier could barely withstand the force, and the
corridor continued its relentless advance.
Then-
BAAANG
A sudden explosion ripped through the void, shattering the resistance along the
corridor.
“…!!” Althera placed both hands over her mouth, eyes wide, jaw dropped in
sheer disbelief.
No one present understood what was happening more than she did.
The wall that had enclosed the universe for countless eons with unyielding
cruelty had been pierced.
The End-of-the-World Barrier, the unbreakable frontier that had stood since
time immemorial, had been punctured!
Poof
Robin collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath, muscles trembling. “Ha…
ha… oh… I’ve pushed the Master Laws too far today.”
“Hmmm?”
Althera’s voice broke the tense silence, trembling slightly.
“The other side… it’s still completely dark… but… I think something is moving?”
“…?!” Every hair on Robin’s body stood on end. He lifted his head once again,
golden eyes ablaze with energy, scanning the darkness.
And what he saw…
…thousands of enormous eyes, all staring directly at him.
“Destroy the Fuckin’ corridor!!”
