Lord of the Truth - Chapter 2034 Doomsday scenario

Chapter 2034 Doomsday scenario
“Destroy the Fuckin’ corridor…”
Robin spoke in a low, trembling voice, as if even the air itself might betray him, as if he was afraid that someone might actually hear him, his entire body numb with fear, his nerves locked in a state between paralysis and panic.
On the other side, thousands of eyes were staring back at him-eyes of every size and shape, eyes that could no longer even be described as eyes. The more accurate description would have been moons… or even suns, vast luminous orbs burning with alien awareness, suspended in the void like cosmic entities watching from another reality.
Through the Eye of Truth, Robin could read their gazes…
Gazes of curiosity-cold, detached, inhuman.
Gazes of shock-raw and instinctive, like predators surprised by prey that dared to delver itself.
Gazes of hunger-like beasts staring at a piece of meat after centuries of starvation.
Gazes of delight-twisted, anticipatory, filled with cruel fascination.
The gazes of beings that had not yet decided whether the heaven before them was real or an illusion, whether this world was prey… or trap.
“Ah…” Althera took a step back, her breath hitching, her lips trembling uncontrollably. She had finally understood what she was looking at fully, completely, terrifyingly.
“Space beasts… thousands of space beasts?!”
“Althera, destroy the damn corridor Already!!” Robin shouted this time, fear and authority colliding in his voice.
“On it!!” Althera drew her sword from its sheath in a flash of steel and motion and slashed toward the gate. Slash-!
The massive strike hit the edges of the gate from both sides, making it tremble violently, shockwaves rippling across its surface like waves on a cosmic sea. It was clear that the colossal corridor was resisting destruction with all its might, its structure reinforced by forces far beyond normal space.
But a large portion of the slash passed through the gate to the other side, slicing through the dimensional threshold, then continued its path calmly toward its inhabitants under everyone’s horrified gaze.
BOOOOOOF
The enormous arc cut through several space beasts in succession, tearing through their massive bodies, scattering their pitch-black blood in every direction like a storm of living ink, staining the void itself.
All the space creatures stared at the damage the slash had caused, frozen in a moment of collective silence.
Then, as if awakening from a trance-
as if confirming that this was not a dream-
they all turned their gaze back toward the gate and roared in unison, their voices merging into one apocalyptic sound:
“RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOR~~”
“Ugh!!” Robin and Richard were thrown backward by the shockwaves of the roar like dead leaves in an autumn storm, their bodies lifted and hurled through the air.
Even the imperial guards and the Shadow Swords standing far away couldn’t keep their footing and were swept away by the blast, crashing into the ground, dragged by invisible waves of pressure and sound.
“Destroy it!!” Robin screamed as he was hurled backward, his voice fading with distance and chaos.
“Destroy it, Althera-destroy iiiiiit!!”
“Got it!!” Althera raised her sword again. Whoosh!
Then again-Whoosh!
Once more, the edges of the gate trembled violently, looking as if it were about to collapse in on itself, its structure warping and distorting under the force…
then it stabilized again, stubbornly holding its form.
“What’s wrong with this cursed corridor?!” Althera shouted, swearing for once, frustration and urgency breaking through her composure, then prepared for another strike.
But-
BAM
At that moment, a gigantic arm passed through the gate-
a gate hundreds of meters in diameter, created to fit a Supremacy Note Gen-4. The arm was so massive it filled nearly half the gate’s space. It was gray and viscous, its surface pulsing like living flesh, and atop it was a hand covered in dozens of claws that immediately crushed the beach beneath them, pulverizing stone and sand into dust.
Then-krrr-
a head emerged.
A long, pointed head, filled with teeth, covered in what looked like thousands of sensory openings, with no eyes and no other features-no face, no expression, only raw biological horror.
It looked like the head of a Savage horse.
“Disgusting!!” Althera shouted and slashed with her short sword.
“SRAAAAAAAAAA//”
The space monster turned toward Althera and unleashed a destructive roar at
her-but-
BAM
Her sword strike cut the space beast in half with brutal precision.
Most of its body, still outside, fell into the vast void, spiraling into endless
darkness, while the part trapped on this side dropped directly in front of
Althera with a heavy, wet crash.
“Damn it!” Althera cursed in frustration.
She didn’t feel relief at killing it-it was only a nascent space beast.
nascent space beasts ranged in power from the peak of a World Cataclysm to a low Nexus State, so killing one was natural for her, almost instinctive.
The problem was that its thick, dense hide had blocked her strike from reaching the gate again, delaying its destruction and buying the corridor more
time.
She shoved the severed remains aside with her left hand like useless trash so they wouldn’t obstruct her path, then pulled her right arm back, muscles tightening, preparing to strike again-
But whooosh-
The moment the corpse was pushed away, another one entered.
This one was slightly smaller and slipped through quickly, faster, more agile.
“No!” Althera looked up in alarm.
This time, the space monster resembled a gigantic butterfly with three heads, its massive wings unfolding as it crossed the threshold-
SLAAASH!
Althera slashed upward and cut-
“Kiiiiih//” The monster was cleaved in half, its colossal body splitting apart as it
began to plummet downward. A beast nearly a thousand meters long, falling from a terrifying height-its descent was like a meteor, a living catastrophe capable of erasing entire cities from existence.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOM
The impact shook the land violently.
Then-whoosh whoosh-three more nascent space beasts burst through the
gate in rapid succession, their massive forms tearing through the air like living
comets.
“No!!” Althera moved with blinding speed, her body blurring as she struck down the farthest one in a single, precise motion-but in that very instant, two more forced their way through the gate.
When Althera realized there was no end to them, that the flow would never
stop, she halted in place. Her body began to tremble violently, power surging through her like a raging storm, her presence expanding, her aura erupting
outward.
Then she roared with overwhelming will and absolute resolve:
“There will be no invasion of Mid Sector 99 while I am standing here!!”
The five beasts never even understood how they died-one after another, their massive bodies collapsed, shredded apart, torn into broken pieces before they
could even react.
And yet-
whoosh whoosh whoosh
More entered.
“….?!” From several kilometers away, Robin stood pale-faced and frozen,
watching what no longer looked like a battle-but a true world-ending scenario
unfolding before his eyes.
“Father…” Even Richard wiped the dust and debris coating his face, his hands shaking slightly as he muttered in disbelief, “What have you done?”
“…” Robin was on the verge of breaking down. His chest tightened, his throat burned, his vision blurred. Is the sector going to be destroyed of him? Wasn’t the Die of Judgment what sent him here?! Wasn’t it meant to protect him from exactly this kind of misfortune?!
But what Richard said wasn’t far from the truth-if the space beasts overran
Mid Sector 99, the entire universe would see him as the greatest sinner in history. Even decades after his death, young and old alike would curse his name, his legacy drowned in hatred and blame… This was not the glory he wanted. This was eternal disgrace. This was not the future he wanted!! “No, no, no…” Robin whispered in pure panic, his voice breaking. “We have to
close that gate. Althera is only a few consecutive strikes away from destroying it-we just need to buy her those seconds, just a few seconds more!!” “Then go!” Richard pointed violently toward the gate. “I saw the power you
poured into that die. Aren’t you a Royal Soul Master? You’re the only one here who can fight at that level!”
“Are you blind? I can’t even stand!” Robin, still kneeling on the ground, screamed at his son, his voice raw with pain and fear. Then he lowered his
head, staring at the shattered earth beneath him with unfocused, unstable eyes
for several long seconds.
Who could help quickly? Aro and his army were locked in their own war. Morgana and the Royal Soul Lords wouldn’t arrive in time, and-
Robin’s eyes suddenly sharpened.
His pupils contracted.
His expression changed.
He lifted his head abruptly, scanning the battlefield in frantic desperation until
his gaze locked onto a single figure.
“Leonid!”
“Ptuh, ptuh!!” Leonid, lying hundreds of meters away, spat out the sand he had
swallowed, coughed harshly, then forced himself up and snapped into a military salute, his posture rigid despite his injuries. “At your command.” “Was the Vehicle Transporter-1 feature added to the imperial guards’ ships?” Robin shouted, his voice filled with urgency.
“Yes, Your Majesty,” Leonid closed the distance at once and replied seriously, his
tone sharp and disciplined. “It was added to their base design for all units, exactly as per your orders.”
“Good.” Robin nodded firmly, his eyes burning with determination. “Send an urgent distress signal. I want them here-now!”
“Yes, Your Majesty. I will summon the nearest carrier immediately,” Leonid replied without hesitation, activating his systems.
“No-summon all of them!!”
