Lord of the Truth - Chapter 2076 Aser

Chapter 2076 Aser
Stellar Dawnlight Academy–
Bzzzt
The academy’s space portal activated with a sharp electric hum, and a single figure stepped out into the absolute silence of everyone present, as if the entire place had been frozen in time.
The man wore clothes soaked in multicolored blood, layers upon layers of dried and fresh stains. His forehead and hair were wrapped in a white scarf, and most of his face was hidden behind its edge, leaving only his eyes visible… brown eyes, sharp and piercing, with tightly furrowed brows that carried exhaustion, anger, and cold resolve all at once.
He looked around slowly, calmly, taking in the surroundings. He noticed that the recording of the Cosmic Elder was still playing in some areas of the academy, while it had already ended in others. It was clear that people everywhere were replaying it again and again, unable to stop listening to it, unable to escape its weight.
Then he turned toward the gate guards and asked in a firm, commanding voice, “The Academy Head, is she in her office today?”
But the gate guards did not answer. They were staring at the portal itself, mouths open, faces pale, minds completely frozen.
Professor Robin… the Cosmic Elder’s friend?
Professor Robin, who had just joked with them before leaving, laughed with them, spoke casually, and even gave each of them a ring containing a thousand pearls, is the leader of the Cosmic Academies?
They had joked and spoken freely with someone of such overwhelming status for all those years without realizing who he truly was?!
“Tsk”
The masked man clicked his tongue in irritation, then vanished. He clearly had no time for these fools, no patience for shock and confusion.
Whoosh
In the next moment, he appeared in the main plaza. He began scanning the area, thinking he should find Althera or at least someone who could direct him to her location. And by pure good fortune, he found exactly what he was looking for.
“Academy Head!”
Althera was in no better state than the gate guards. She was still staring at the Cosmic Elder’s recording with lost, unfocused eyes, her mind clearly
elsewhere, trapped in the weight of what she had just heard.
“Academy Head?” The masked man approached her slowly.
“…Have you made a decision about what you heard yet?”
“Oh?”
Althera turned, then sighed deeply when she recognized the newcomer.
“Asir, my deputy and the one who holds the highest kill count of the Anti-Life in the academy’s entire history… do you have a recommendation?”
Then she smiled weakly, her expression heavy with fatigue and pressure.
“Every decision I think about always ends in a massive change to our future. Every single one of them reshapes everything… and nothing will remain the same after today. Nothing.”
“Nothing ever remains the same,” Asir replied calmly, his voice steady and grounded.
“And it seems the time for that has finally come.”
Then he nodded firmly, without hesitation.
“Whatever decision you make, I will follow you. No matter where it leads.”
“”
Althera turned back to the recording of the Cosmic Elder, watching his speech for the fourth time, as if trying to extract a different meaning, a hidden answer, a path she had missed.
Then she spoke quietly, decisively:
“…Declare a full lockdown across the academy until I make my decision.”
One of the planets of Mid Sector 97–
In the middle of a vast square where people of many races and species had gathered, Theo stood among them in his black armor and flowing cloak, without fear, without hesitation, and without any attempt at concealment. His presence alone felt heavy. His arms were crossed, and a faint, confident smile rested on his face.
“Your name has risen and ascended, father,” he said calmly, “as it should always be”
“Your Highness,” beside Theo, a dark-skinned figure with six long ears spoke respectfully, bowing slightly.
“Are there new directives regarding the announcement?”
“Yes,” Theo replied.
“We will need to focus more on linking the Cosmic Academies in the coming
period.”
He gently rubbed his forehead, thoughtful.
“Prepare the men. We will withdraw 80% of them from Mid Sector 97.”
“Won’t this harm our operations here, Your Highness?”
The Black Ray, one of the numbered swords, furrowed his brows, clearly
concerned.
“Heh- after this announcement?” Theo let out a soft, confident laugh.
“Zargul will not dare to attack with the same ferocity as before. And Arkail will
not dare to withdraw his forces.”
Then his tone sharpened slightly.
“Prepare everyone for deployment exactly as I told you.”
“Yes, sir.”
Black Ray bowed slightly, then vanished without another word.
“Father, oh father…”
Theo smiled faintly, his gaze lifting toward the sky.
“Our presence in sectors 90 to 105 is no longer enough to keep up with your accelerating ambition. It’s no longer sufficient for what you are building.”
He paused for a moment, then added calmly,
“Very well… I’ll expand them for you a little.”
Planet Donara–
Tak Tak
“Hm,” Robin stood beside what looked like a massive glass chamber spanning hundreds of meters, a faint, satisfied smile resting on his face as he observed
the scene before him.
The glass chamber was hundreds of kilometers away from the entrance of the passage, but because it had been built on the edge of the planet’s highest mountains, Robin could easily see the passage whenever he activated the Eye of Truth zooming ability. From that height, the world beneath looked small, distant, and fragile, as if the entire planet were nothing more than a painted landscape.
The chamber itself was filled with wide glass windows and surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery, visible in every direction. The only part hidden from view was the bathroom section, which had been built with a special insulating layer for privacy and isolation. From the inside, the entire structure was open and interconnected as if it were a single colossal room, yet it was vast, filled with storage units, desks, research tables, and multiple seating areas, allowing Robin to change the scenery he viewed whenever he grew bored of one perspective and desired another.
The chamber had been completed exactly as Leonid promised. Its materials were the finest the Empire could purchase, forged from rare resources and refined through the highest standards. As a result, its quality was considered among the absolute best in the universe, both in durability and design. But at the moment, multiple arrays were being constructed around it. Blacksmiths, researchers, engravers, and soul masters were all busy, moving in coordinated harmony, building layer after layer after layer without pause.
Protection arrays.
Sound insulation.
Visual concealment.
Aura suppression. Spiritual shielding.
And countless other systems that the Empire could provide.
They had even begun installing disassembled components of an ancient array, the kind of arrays capable of withstanding a Monarch-level attack on an entire planet, just to be erected around this single chamber alone, turning it into a fortress hidden within beauty.
“Hey,” Robin raised his voice slightly and pointed toward an empty patch of land
beside his chamber.
“Expand the arrays to include that area as well, and build a separate identical chamber there. Completely independent.”
He paused briefly, then added with a faint smile,
“I have a feeling I’ll be getting a neighbor soon.”
“Yes, your majesty!”
All the workers gave a quick, unified salute and immediately began making the required adjustments, shifting formations and recalculating the array
structures.
Whoosh
“Your Majesty!!”
At that moment, Leonid appeared beside Robin, clear panic written all over his
face, his breath uneven, his expression tense.
“Have you seen the Cosmic Elder’s recording?!”
“Of course,” Robin chuckled softly. Then poof, he summoned a comfortable chair and sat down on it calmly,
crossing one leg over the other as he gazed at the magnificent view beneath
the mountain, the clouds drifting slowly below him. “Who do you think released it?”
“But… but did you hear everything in it?” Leonid looked extremely anxious, his
voice trembling.
“Did you listen to it all the way to the end? Every word?”
“Hm~” Robin sighed lightly.
“That bastard could’ve definitely cut out a few paragraphs from his speech, no
doubt about it. There were parts he didn’t need to say.”
He tilted his head slightly.
“But this is what happened and honestly, I don’t dare tamper with the
message.”
Then he laughed quietly.
“But no worries, things are far more exciting this way, don’t you think?”
“Exciting?!” Leonid panicked, his face turning pale.
“Qarun will kill us!! He will tear everything apart!!” “Hm?” Robin turned toward him slowly, raising an eyebrow.
“You mean the Head of the Supreme Council of the Academies?”
Then he waved his hand dismissively, completely relaxed. “Don’t exaggerate. He received a direct, named threat from the Cosmic Elder
himself. On a universal broadcast.”
He smiled faintly.
“He’s probably trembling somewhere right now, trying to decide whether to
breathe or stop.”
“Your Majesty, with all due respect…” Leonid’s voice cracked, and he looked as if
he was about to cry.
“You don’t know who Qarun really is. You truly don’t understand what kind of existence we are dealing with.”
